@@lordarhima3615 if that were the case then why did he kill the other gods? He did it because he knew that they wouldn’t support his actions. Zamasu even rejected the possibility of redemption when offered so yeah he basically chose to be evil
Letting Freiza see the true levels of power in the multiverse and showing him his power was little to none comparing was the WORST thing goku could've done
Frieza was the only one to suggest overthrowing Zeno, a scheme that not even Zamasu thought of. Now that he has reached a new level of power by training for 10 years will he be able to do it??
Also I don't think anyone can overthrow Zeno because Zeno is God. You could literally destroy the universe with a blast and Zeno could recreate it. Zeno could be killed and then he would just bring himself back to life. A power level of a trillion trillion trillions wouldn't be enough to "overthrow" him
@@AsAWhiteManMarriedToALatina This super headcanon, Zeno has never been called "God", he is the Omni King A.K.A he rules the multiverse. He hasn't shown the ability to create anything either, in fact GP has shown both the ability to create (the tournament ring) as well as erase (Merus was erased by GP, not Zeno). Zeno bringing himself back or any of that is pure headcanon since that would be through the assumption that he is God, which there's nothing to suggest he is.
I would say Frieza is the most traditionally villainous character just because of his negative character arc. And even after fighting with the Z-fighters to help save his universe, he still remains a primary threat to the galaxy, and the sayians/Z-fighters. Then again, Buu (Kid-Buu) is literally the incarnation of evil. Only argument against that would be it’s not entirely sentient like Frieza. Buu would just kill and destroy with the objective of killing and destroying whereas Frieza would more than likely torture you for hours until deciding to kill you and laugh while doing it.
Frieza might also just almost entirely wipe out your entire race and make you one of his lackies that he is more than willing to throw to the wolves if it mean getting what he wants, unlike most other villains like Majin Buu who have no underlings because they enjoy unfettered destruction.
Yeah I definitely agree. Frieza is the definition and embodiment of evil. I also believe thats why the fight between him and Goku on Namek was so iconic seeing as how it was two titans with completely different philosophies. Great video🔥
Namek was a real good vs evil scenario, throw in Vegeta to add a bit of grey and its part of why so many people see it as the best DBZ arc, gotta love Namek
Even if Moro becomes more bland as the arc goes on (going from a cool looking warlock goat to another generic strong humanoid who barely uses magic), I can't deny that, at his best, he's my favorite Super villain
I mean he looked like that bc of Fusion and i really like his second design too. I don't even know if he really had many different magical abilities. Seemed like it was only the energy absorption and manipulation + his special Fusion. (Well and the ability to merge with the whole planet)
2:01 grand Zeno isn't known to be the creator of the 12 universes. In fact I think the canonical creation deity is the Toribot, which is the weird robot Toriyama draws himself as in the back of his manga. Like Tomska with ASDF movie, Toriyama has written himself into the godhood of his fictional setting. Another competitor for the creator god of the setting is of course Zalama the first Namekian and creator of the super dragonballs. In effect Zeno is an administrator and destroyer for all the 12 universes, set in place to oversee the proper maintenance of the cosmos.
10:55 Well, he WAS tracking Goku and Vegeta, going where powerful energy sources where and checking it out, and he also knew Goku couldn't throw the spirit bomb with Vegeta in the way, and took advantage of that.
Characters like Buu, Omega Shenron and Janemba are evil by design, whereas Frieza and Zamasu are evil because they choose to be. That's what puts them on top for me. I'd say Frieza is definitely the more sadistic of the two, although Zamasu's god complex and sense of superiority really gets on my nerves.
This is dope. I liked how you started by defining your interpretation of morality in the db universe and ranking them that way. Agreed with all of them.
Great video! I'd have to agree. I'd also like to point out the scene where he tries to negotiate with Sidra, and they balk at him, asking if he'd be leaving anything behind that he values in Universe 7 if he were to betray it. Frieza laughed the idea off and said he had no idea what they're talking about. Even Rou Kaioshin and a God of Destruction were shocked at a mortal so evil existing.
Thats a great moment. I tend to not take that too much at its word because who knows if Frieza was being serious or just fishing for more info but either way it plays into his evil ways!
Zamasu is the most evil in my opinion because unlike other villains who just did evil things for the sport of it, Zamasu believed everything he did was in the name of "justice". Zamasu killed mortals because he believed they misuse their gifts & kill each other. He terrorized Future Trunks' timeline because he used time traveling, a privilege only gods can use so mortals using time travel is a taboo. Whis & even Jaco brought that up. Zamasu decided to carry out the punishment.
@@PlanetLevelDB Zamasu is the worst type of villain, the type of villain that thinks that the ends justify the means, that thinks that doing evil things for the greater good is necessary, and thinking that everyone else is wrong while he is right.
@@StareachValcin yes. Just like the Disney villain Judge Claude Frollo from Hunchback of Notre Dame. Plus, when Zamasu beats down his foes, Fusion Zamasu to be exact, he doesn't mock them about how weak they are, he boasts about how powerful, awesome, perfect & divine he is.
I have some takes on Zamasu that werent in my video about him since im not entirely sure how I feel about it yet. Gods killing mortals is a complex topic, goes hand in hand with humans shutting down sentient AI and if that is or isnt okay, tough subject, I can see both sides!
It's less that Frieza was working within the cosmic system and more that he feared Beerus. He wouldn't dare disobey the God of Destruction, no matter how powerful he was at the time. And even then, Beerus only told Frieza to destroy Planet Vegeta.
Dude you make such solid dragon ball content. From the analysis to the music, keep up the good work! I don’t usually turn post notis on, but I got ‘em on for you😂💯
Frieza is a major prick 💀 He is evil by choice instead of by force. Moro being right there with him Both had an opportunity (Frieza more than once, 3 times I believe) to turn their life around. Cell was made with the intention to destroy Kid Buu is a force of nature (or chaos) Vegeta (and the Saiyans) were basically enslaved and if they didn't do their job, Frieza would've killed them but they died either way. (That doesn't mean they weren't ruthless neither, they killed all the truffles and destroyed their home.)
I feel like in order to be evil it needs to be personal. Zamasu is indiscriminate with his destruction, even if it was called the “Zero Mortal Plan” he still aims to destroy Gods as well. Moro might eat planets and overdosed one of his soldiers with power, but that just feels more destructive and uncaring than evil per se. Then again, I haven’t read the Moro arc, so all I have to go off are what RUclipsrs have stated, so maybe there’s something he does that is truly heinous, but so far, doesn’t seem truly evil to me. With Frieza, I agree with him being the most evil due to him enslaving entire races and personally bullying them into submission. He literally tortures his opponents, while also actively enjoying the suffering of others, both physically and psychologically. He knows he’s a villain, and he loves every second of being one.
I honestly say beerus despite its "balance" he constantly threatens or just instantly destroys planets sometimes just by sneezing and he does it happily, just my opinion tho.
17:00 freza did it because birus told him to. Most likely cause he is last and was keeping count to hold it against Birus later. Think of they knew what would vegita do lol
This video was incredibly interesting and highly intelligent. Amazing breakdown. However I think the most absolutely criminally overlooked element of Frieza when it comes to how evil they are is the fact that he spent years raping Vegeta. He did so under the guise of keeping his Saiyan brothers safe from harm, only to in the end have them all wiped out anyway. If you don't believe me this is the quote where where he confesses to Goku about this and I believe it, along with Krillin were the true breaking points for Goku going super the first time. It allowed Goku to truly understand that not only was he right and Vegeta was not evil by nature, but he also understood exactly what his brother suffered and in that moment I believe he experienced the pain of his entire life, catalyzing the transformation. "Listen, he took me from my father. When I was just a little boy he made me do whatever he wanted and said he would kill my father if I didn't. I did everything he asked but he killed him anyway along with everyone else! He was scared of us, scared of the super saiyan. That they would rise up and over throw him. Kakarot, please, destroy Frieza! ...He made me what I am..." Vegeta to Goku before the final battle with Frieza. Frieza can never have a redemption arc. That's actually one of the things that absolutely killed super for me. I still love the lore but I cannot watch that abomination humanizing the most evil character in existence. Fuck Frieza for real. Vegeta fans rise up!
But he didn't kill everyone again, he just beat them up. If he did kill them a second time, they would've ceased to exist as that what happens in DB when you die when you've already died.
Depends on how you look at it. In many fictional worlds, evil is an actual objective force, part of how the universe works. In our world, evil doesn't exist without a will to perceive and interpret it. But in much of fiction, evil is a force that manifests itself through characters. People can be corrupted by evil and subsequently have the evil dispelled from them. In Dragon Ball, I'd say this is the type of evil we see. Babidi can take advantage of the evil in people and the devilmite beam kills anyone with evil in their heart. Therefore, Buu being a manifestation of pure evil makes him the most evil character. You could hypothetically use the super dragon balls to remove the evil from Freeza's heart (why haven't they ever tried this?), but if you tried doing that to Buu, it would be the same as killing him.
@@KopperNeomantrue, as a christian, we are thought that sin is the source of evil. So when someone does something evil, it is because of sin. Although that concept doesn't apply to dragon ball.
I think it’s worth mentioning Bibidi, who created Buu and pointed him like a gun, and later Babidi, who intended to continue using Buu in that same manner.
i seen the title and immediately said frieza i cant think of anyone else other than buu but he isnt on the same level as frieza because buu just pulls up and boom ur gone frieza will keep you there till he is satisfied and make you suffer im very glad to see in the manga we are getting our good ole frieza overpowering goku and vegeta saga back i really wanna see how it plays out the hype is real
I'd still say Moro is the most evil villain Yes, Freeza is a complete monster that commits insane acts of treachery, but Super showed that there is layers to his mentality. He's willing to help our heroes, he's willing to trust others, and he's willing to understand even someone he hates like Goku. I truly believe that Freeza has the capacity to be good, if he actually tried to be. On the other hand, Moro is just completely evil, bad to the bone. There's basically nothing that implies him to have any ounce of morality. We even see a direct parallel of him with Freeza. When Goku is willing to show mercy, Moro acts just like Freeza did. But we know that Freeza is able to grow from this. Moro seems to have no ability to do anothing good There's even an argument you can make about how Freeza could've been raised to be as callous as he is. All in all, I'd give Moro the edge in terms of evilness
Zeno is an 'interesting' case to say the least. I think it depends on whether you look at the manga or the anime. I'm mainly focusing on the T.O.P. era where there were 2 Zenos deciding what to do with the universes. I think in the manga it was stated that they were simply bored because there were TOO many universes to watch over. Seriously, there are TWO of you...why not divide it up where one Zeno looks over 6 and the other Zeno looks over the other 6? Erasing universes because it's too much work for you doesn't seem very benevolent. I also hated when the anime had Grand Priest giving a speech about Zeno's intention with the tournament and Super Dragon Balls. Basically, it makes it seem like it was their goal to test the morality of the participants to see whether or not they'd restore the fallen universes. It makes it seem even more clear that the characters we got to know during the arc (well the few we did not too many of them had established character or personality) were nothing but pawns of the gods to play with. In Super Dragon Ball Heroes, I think Hearts was trying to destroy the totem pole of the gods by overthrowing Zeno. Um, I wasn't against that. Seriously, dude wiped out 7 universes for the sake of 'testing creation' to see if they were worthy of existing. WTF...
Thats a good breakdown for sure. Only thing I would say is its important to remember what a different level Zeno is on from the mortals. To him its like exterminating an ant colony or deleting your save on the Sims. If you create a bunch of Sentient AI to hang out with eachother, is it wrong to delete them when you get bored of watching? Its a tough questiom that a lot of people are still debating today.
I always wondered in the TOP, if Vegeta's wish would be considered selfish?? Because he would wish that universe back for one person.... but at the same time he would wish the universe back...🤔🤔
Moro, sure, he was bad, but I didn't think he was going to be that bad off of the break. Moro himself said that killing people and depowering them are just the said effects of his magic and power, and he just does it just to fill his stomach. If there was a backstory to Moro, like he just absorbed life force to survive, not on entire planets, but maybe more small scale things, and then he received a lot of hate and criticism for it and that treatment from people turned him cold and now he doesn't care what happens to people as they are absorbed by him. Moro is like Galactus from Marvel, but the concept of him being a world eater, that is what he was intended for, and even though he does it, the thing to remember is what Moro said about his only intention is filling his stomach and that depowering people and strengthening himself are only fortunate side effects, that right there shows that Moro eats to live, he doesn't live to eat, so it wouldn't be like he started off as pure evil, because in real life if you kill animals to eat them, depending on where you stand morally it could be very inhumane, or it is just a necessary part of life and a way to feed yourself and your family. So, maybe Moro was not inherently evil, but over time, he became cold and didn't care about who got hurt because whether he is doing on a small scale or to survive or whatever, people would still hate him no matter what. I believe that they should explain origin stories in Dragon Ball like on Frieza and some others, but if they gave a backstory like this to Moro, then Moro would seem like a more sympathetic character/villain. Tell me what you all think.
Its interesting since the motive of Good as Balance and everyone taking their due place is in my opinion present in Dragon Ball ever since the ending of the first DB. When Goku visits Kami it is to revive Shenron to wish back his friends. It is both selfish and compassionate. However, there he is taught that Kami is King Piccolo's other half, who is alive because of Piccolo. Neither can die while keeping the other alive. Flash forward to the World Martial Arts tournament, and Kami is enacting a secret plan to defeat Piccolo. If it is necessary for him to die, he will do so. Now, this doesn't pan out, and Goku faces Piccolo not just for the title, but to defeat King Piccolo once again. But now that Goku has a greater understanding of the situation, he is capable of being compassionate and merciful. The point is defeating Piccolo, not killing him: not just because it is abstractly right, but because Piccolo is an integral part of his world, as the other half of the Guardian. Looking forward, he actually gives Piccolo a chance to develop autonomously as whatever he wants to become. (And incidentally, when Kami lets go and is absorbed by Piccolo to face off against Cell, it is out of his autonomy: Kami has to convince himself, due to Piccolo's influence, that this is the right choice: he is not coerced into being selfless). Interestingly, the appreciation for the compassionate but competitive attitude of Goku present in that Tournament implicitly is there until the ending of Super, in the Tournament of Power. While it it might be a retcon, we learn that Zeno intended to end all Universes. It was only because of his liking of Goku's demeanor, and the fun he had at the Universes 6 and 7 tournament, that he decides to arrange a Universe Survival Tournament. And of course, as we learn later, the idea was to try out if mortals were worthy of being kept alive. In conclusion, while Goku may not consciously be the smartest individual, his intuitions are always in accord with what his Universe interprets as Good.
Omega Shenron's existence is a response of balance to the 'good' the Dragon Balls did. So technically you could argue if he is truly evil by the terms you set up. Tho Z Broly would probably be the most evil character in the franchise. He knows what he is doing is bad and does it purely for entertainment. He is so evil, that his father had to brainwash him to keep him at bay. He has no interest in taking over planets. He only wants to destroy, beat up people and mentally scar them. There are no redeeming qualities to Broly as even Frieza eventually can turn into an ally and Omega Shenron keep asking why the others even bother fighting instead of getting a quick painless death. Even in Second Coming, Broly, despite having the power to kill Gohan with his attack, bend his attack to target Goten several times just to show Gohan he can't protect the ones he loves. Broly does that several times to psychologically damage his opponents. That shows he understands others feeling.
I will say that the most evil character in Dragon Ball is Bibidi/Babidi. Now it's true that his power levels are just a joke, but his magic poweres are really terrifying. His one ability to Manipulation Sorcery, and boosts the targets power drastically makes him one of the most dangerous beings in the universe, and you could imagine what could happen if he would take control of Moro, or Black Frieza (pure evil targets are much easier for him to control, like we saw with dabura). With additional Majin power ups Moro, and Black Frieza would be almost invincible. He also has the power to use Sealing Spell so it's theoretically possible for him to seal up Immortal Zamasu, unless he would also want to control him for his own ends. He is as sadistic as Moro, wants to rule the universe like Frieza, and on top of that he kill anyone enemy or an ally that has grown out of his usefulness to satisfy his sadistic nature (Frieza will not always kill his own soldiers if they stay loyal to him like ginyu force, zarbon and dodoria). Kid Buu was pure destruction, but Bibidi/Babidi manage to used that power to take over the universe, and this is really something. Ps. I will treat Bibidi, and Babidi as one person since it's pretty confusing, some sources are stating that Babidi is son to Bibidi, or Babidi is doppelganger to Bibidi.
felt evil or absolute evil? absolute evil is majin buu, he is the hatred and negativity of the universe. felt or relative evil i say frieza, because an opponent charging u with a sword is at least honest about his intentions frieza is more of a backstabbing kind as we saw with frost or friezas interactions with people around him that are able to defend against his power. (frieza was very direkt with using evil methods to achive his goals, because it was the way of least resistence with his overwhelming power) but the moment he isnt the high up king he uses every methode to decieve u. i would say buu uses his evil as his source for action while frieza has evil in his mind that his actions serve. he doesnt only do evil things but he always has evil intentions. but he is not necessarily evil. he was born overpowered in a world were power is everything. his worth comes from being the ultimate being and since frieza has this believe ingrained in him to the core he has to kill his army to show he does not need them he has to be extra evil to show he doesnt need to be on good terms with anyone after a fight, doing this is what shows him he is the bigger being. since this view of him was shattered by goku he had to come up with new ways to reinforce his superiority. thats why he direktly got to earth back in dbz it was denial that someone rly surpassed him. he had to train to get stronger, a huge hit to his ego, but since the results were promising he could again tell himself that he is the superior being. again being to foolish and not training his new form just shows how inexperienced he is with improvement and that he wasnt just phisically behind but fighting skills and knowledge too. its crazy development from him very nuanced and in the background of the story. frieza black was his ultimate ego beat, he took time to develop and master and go even beyond and take extra precautions so he couldnt just defeat goku and vegeta ssj blue, but ultra instinct and ultra ego. and he even let them live because he knew he needs steps to reach beerus and the angels. and those monkeys did a very good job bringing him back and not wanting to kill him when they could. and one point about zamasu, he had a job that was going nowhere but repeating suffering everything that develops into something good, it gets devoured or destroied by something bad or evil. the destroyer of the universe being the necessary gear to start developing a healthy universe if he doesnt act right or the kaios dont work together with the god of destroction they cant make anything better. the god of destruction has to judge if a planet gets to develop further or not. if he destroyes dangerous ones and the kaios can make new planets then until every race works together in a good spirited universe were they can develop a higer lifescore or what it was zeno sama was talking about. imagine living to work at a store were the maganer doesnt give a fork, u get nothing to do but to watch the store getting robbed because u cant do anything and ur supervisor tells u we have to hope they will just start shopping normaly and starting to pay by themselfs. i would go crazy too.
I’m surprised z broly didn’t make honorable mentions. The guy was just on a whole other level of evil. Not frieza level but he did enjoy beating the absolute shit out of people, he even destroyed those alien slave home world right in front them and then killed them. Laughed while he did it.
@@PlanetLevelDB he destroyed an entire galaxy for fun, and enjoyed watching entire races suffer. Not in the same way as buu, but more sadistic and just plain evil

The first thing he does is destroy Earth and didn't monologue ( not that he could ) and proceeded to not only threthen other world but troll Goku and Vegtea mutplie time. He also takes joy in death and destruction.
Technically, Janemba would be the most evil, since he is the literal incarnation of evil, but the thing is, characters like kid buu or broly act a lot more evil than janemba does
@@PlanetLevelDB My main reasoning was imperfect cell killing trunks stealing his time machine and then drinking people, people tend to forget that part. That man was a menace😂 Sure it wasnt on a planetary scale like moro frieza or buu, but it was cold calculated and serial killerly in a way that felt more evil to me
When Buu absorbed Gohan, did he not absorb the intellect of Gohan to understand the aspects of morality and compassion and then in the same breath reject it instantly. I think Buu is the personification of evil as he discards these aspects for his own enjoyment destruction and malice.
I think the true most evil villain is King Piccolo, unlike Frieza, who ultimately has a goal to become stronger, and he ultimately likes fighting, King Piccolo just kills for the sake of killing, he does it for fun, while Frieza, who at least back in Z only really killed if he wanted to, was told to, or needed to to better his empire.
I would like to see omega shenron be inducted into canon, only with him coming from the super dragon balls, and I want him to slap Beerus with his giant dragon cock. We've already had quite a few wishes on the super dragon balls. Champa got a new earth, Zamasu made 2 wishes, one for Goku's body and one for immortality, and the last one from the anime is legit all 12 (maybe 18 if the writers are decent) universes being revived. Haven't read the manga, but 3 more wishes and we're golden. Honestly it would be sick if he slapped Beerus around, and then slapped Zeno and his guards around, and no one can defeat him. But then the grand priest shows up with a magic "kill the dragon" spell, and once he's gone decides to be the big bad himself and all 12 (maybe 18) universes have to team up with Kais, Destroyers, Angels, and of course the warriors from the universe they govern to defeat him and a new Zeno is born from an even higher hierarchy of gods we aren't aware of. I wanna see who made Zeno and gave him all that power.
I personally feel like Zamosu is definitely the most evil he's like if Kid Buu actually understood what he was doing just going around blowing entire worlds/galaxies on a whim but Zamosu wanted all mortals removed because he thought they were evil , kinda like the Batter from OFF the major difference is Zamosu had no good reason to destroy where as the Batter saw it was better off with everything fading to black
I personally think and I know this is an underrated answer is imperfect cell. Not only is this a villain creepy he's drinking people with his booty straw so not only is he the most terrifying villain he's the disgusting and evil villain in Dragon Ball history. I was so terrified as a child of this character and I was even more nervous for the Androids who he was supposed to absorb in the same arc. Poor 17 and 18 didn't deserve to go through what they did so Cell could reach his perfect form
I like seeing ppl go "Zamasu is way more evil than Frieza" I see Zamasu a lot like Thanos. Zamasu believes what he's doing is good yet cannot admit his actions are cruel simply because he will think himself a failure in his mission. Zamasu cares about creation, mortals are nothing but pests who ruin it, it's like having roaches in your home and stuff, they ruin shit and need to be dealt with. Zamasu's ideals and values is what drives him to take on the burden of eliminating mortals. Unlike Frieza, Zamasu doesn't just care about himself 24/7. Zamasu eliminates mortals, but Frieza likes torturing and being outright cruel to anything and everything.
Brah I’m new here and I like your video analysis on the phycology and philosophy on all of these characters! But there still something I want to know how many real world fighting styles exist in dragon ball? And how many did goku learn ; and if he’s the greatest martial artist ever?
I think what makes Frieza such a compelling villain to me is that, in an era where you'd easily find plenty of villains with tragic backstories or "noble intentions" but are misguided in the way they act on those intentions (like Thanos or Zamasu who have reasonably good intentions in the grand scheme of things, but still commit evil acts to further their goals), Frieza is just a bad dude for the shits and giggles. Kinda like Palpatine in Star Wars, where pretty much every other Darth has some tragic backstory or they might believe siding with the Sith to be better for the galaxy (like such is the case for Count Dooku), dude was a born psycho and just enjoyed being a bad dude, forming schemes and taking over the galaxy pretty much just because he could. Even when offered that classic Dragon Ball trope of Goku being like "Hey you were kind of an asshole but now that I've kicked your ass I'm giving you the chance to stop being an asshole and maybe we could be cool in the future", my man Frieza still outright refused to do anything other than be an ass. Even after helping to save the multiverse and being praised by the gods for his uncharacteristic heroics in the TOP, dude was still like "Nah I'mma still be a dick, see ya losers" Kinda gotta respect that grind
What gets me is the fact that Freiza dosen't really need an army of minions. They are barley anything to him, but it seems like it makes him feel important.
Something I think would be interesting to see would be a villain who wants to overthrow the Omni-King, but only because they believe that Zeno's lack of direct intervention against evil threats like Frieza, Moro, etc shows that the Omni-King is a hypocrite, and too childish to be the one in control over several universes
What do you guys think of my analysis? Who do YOU think is the most evil Dragon Ball villain?

@@lordarhima3615 if that were the case then why did he kill the other gods? He did it because he knew that they wouldn’t support his actions. Zamasu even rejected the possibility of redemption when offered so yeah he basically chose to be evil

Frieza was the only one to suggest overthrowing Zeno, a scheme that not even Zamasu thought of. Now that he has reached a new level of power by training for 10 years will he be able to do it??
Lol what? Freeza just trained for 10 years and became 25 billion times more powerful? DBS is so fucking dumb 😂
Also I don't think anyone can overthrow Zeno because Zeno is God. You could literally destroy the universe with a blast and Zeno could recreate it. Zeno could be killed and then he would just bring himself back to life. A power level of a trillion trillion trillions wouldn't be enough to "overthrow" him
“Find out next time on Dragon Ball Super”
Nah, i wouldn’t even say his in the top 5 that whis said. Grand priest would still one shot him.
Kid buu is literally pure evil
Even if Moro becomes more bland as the arc goes on (going from a cool looking warlock goat to another generic strong humanoid who barely uses magic), I can't deny that, at his best, he's my favorite Super villain
I mean he looked like that bc of Fusion and i really like his second design too.
I don't even know if he really had many different magical abilities.
Seemed like it was only the energy absorption and manipulation + his special Fusion.
(Well and the ability to merge with the whole planet)
DB's sense of morality actually needs to be talked about more often.
Your channel is growing phenomenal.
Wouldnt those reasons make him NOT evil?

I just discovered this channel and it's awesome! Great work, man!
I think a good pick would be demon king piccolo
It's less that Frieza was working within the cosmic system and more that he feared Beerus. He wouldn't dare disobey the God of Destruction, no matter how powerful he was at the time. And even then, Beerus only told Frieza to destroy Planet Vegeta.
Dude you make such solid dragon ball content. From the analysis to the music, keep up the good work! I don’t usually turn post notis on, but I got ‘em on for you😂💯

I've seen a number of your vids so far. You seem to bring a distinct insightful style compared to other DB RUclipsrs. You deserve way more subs.
Frieza is a major prick 💀 He is evil by choice instead of by force.
Moro being right there with him
Both had an opportunity (Frieza more than once, 3 times I believe) to turn their life around.
Cell was made with the intention to destroy
Kid Buu is a force of nature (or chaos)
Vegeta (and the Saiyans) were basically enslaved and if they didn't do their job, Frieza would've killed them but they died either way.

Kakarot, please, destroy Frieza! ...He made me what I am..."
Vegeta to Goku before the final battle with Frieza.
Frieza can never have a redemption arc. That's actually one of the things that absolutely killed super for me. I still love the lore but I cannot watch that abomination humanizing the most evil character in existence. Fuck Frieza for real. Vegeta fans rise up!
I love the dialog around Zamasu but your analysis of him is definitely my favorite. I have such a love/hate relationship for that arc.

“in our universe, nuking a planet to dust is bad”
it won’t be bad if all humanity is dead tho👀
idc what anybody says, buu literally pulled up to HEAVEN and killed everyone again. That’s pure evil.
But he didn't kill everyone again, he just beat them up. If he did kill them a second time, they would've ceased to exist as that what happens in DB when you die when you've already died.
Idk why it took me watching two of your videos to subscribe. But I'll be keeping on eye on this channel. Keep it up.
Great video!
Same as in reality. Notice how everyone who bleats about subjective morality ends up being some kind of evil.
@@KopperNeomantrue, as a christian, we are thought that sin is the source of evil.
So when someone does something evil, it is because of sin. Although that concept doesn't apply to dragon ball.
Love these breakdowns... This had recently become my favorite channel
I think it’s worth mentioning Bibidi, who created Buu and pointed him like a gun, and later Babidi, who intended to continue using Buu in that same manner.
Excellent analysis. I love these videos.

I'd still say Moro is the most evil villain
Yes, Freeza is a complete monster that commits insane acts of treachery, but Super showed that there is layers to his mentality.
Moro seems to have no ability to do anothing good
There's even an argument you can make about how Freeza could've been raised to be as callous as he is. All in all, I'd give Moro the edge in terms of evilness
Frieza helped in ToP because he would cease to exist with them if he didn't. Moro would do the same thing
this was my first video of yours and it was a great listen.
Clever and well thought out
Taking a kids show I grew up on and giving me another chance to look at it in a deeper level

Nice video man
You too man
Its interesting since the motive of Good as Balance and everyone taking their due place is in my opinion present in Dragon Ball ever since the ending of the first DB.
What software do you use to make your thumbnails, Great video by the way.
Definitely disagree
Thankfully babadi is a idiot.

Amazing video
felt evil or absolute evil? absolute evil is majin buu, he is the hatred and negativity of the universe.
felt or relative evil i say frieza, because an opponent charging u with a sword is at least honest about his intentions
frieza is more of a backstabbing kind as we saw with frost or friezas interactions with people around him that are able to defend against his power.
(frieza was very direkt with using evil methods to achive his goals, because it was the way of least resistence with his overwhelming power)
but the moment he isnt the high up king he uses every methode to decieve u. i would say buu uses his evil as his source for action while frieza has evil in his mind that his actions serve. he doesnt only do evil things but he always has evil intentions. but he is not necessarily evil. he was born overpowered in a world were power is everything. his worth comes from being the ultimate being and since frieza has this believe ingrained in him to the core he has to kill his army to show he does not need them he has to be extra evil to show he doesnt need to be on good terms with anyone after a fight, doing this is what shows him he is the bigger being. since this view of him was shattered by goku he had to come up with new ways to reinforce his superiority. thats why he direktly got to earth back in dbz it was denial that someone rly surpassed him. he had to train to get stronger, a huge hit to his ego, but since the results were promising he could again tell himself that he is the superior being.
again being to foolish and not training his new form just shows how inexperienced he is with improvement and that he wasnt just phisically behind but fighting skills and knowledge too. its crazy development from him very nuanced and in the background of the story. frieza black was his ultimate ego beat, he took time to develop and master and go even beyond and take extra precautions so he couldnt just defeat goku and vegeta ssj blue, but ultra instinct and ultra ego. and he even let them live because he knew he needs steps to reach beerus and the angels. and those monkeys did a very good job bringing him back and not wanting to kill him when they could.
and one point about zamasu, he had a job that was going nowhere but repeating suffering everything that develops into something good, it gets devoured or destroied by something bad or evil. the destroyer of the universe being the necessary gear to start developing a healthy universe if he doesnt act right or the kaios dont work together with the god of destroction they cant make anything better. the god of destruction has to judge if a planet gets to develop further or not. if he destroyes dangerous ones and the kaios can make new planets then until every race works together in a good spirited universe were they can develop a higer lifescore or what it was zeno sama was talking about. imagine living to work at a store were the maganer doesnt give a fork, u get nothing to do but to watch the store getting robbed because u cant do anything and ur supervisor tells u we have to hope they will just start shopping normaly and starting to pay by themselfs. i would go crazy too.
I’m surprised z broly didn’t make honorable mentions. The guy was just on a whole other level of evil. Not frieza level but he did enjoy beating the absolute shit out of people, he even destroyed those alien slave home world right in front them and then killed them. Laughed while he did it.

When Buu absorbed Gohan, did he not absorb the intellect of Gohan to understand the aspects of morality and compassion and then in the same breath reject it instantly. I think Buu is the personification of evil as he discards these aspects for his own enjoyment destruction and malice.
I think the true most evil villain is King Piccolo, unlike Frieza, who ultimately has a goal to become stronger, and he ultimately likes fighting, King Piccolo just kills for the sake of killing, he does it for fun, while Frieza, who at least
back in Z only really killed if he wanted to, was told to, or needed to to better his empire.

You know what's crazy? I still catch myself finding Frieza charming from time to time. Now that's a villain. Gosh damn.
Surprise there was no mention of cell or king piccolo
M A J I N B U U ( he's literally called pure evil)
Calling buu a "natural disaster" was so bad ass and funny 😭
"Oh shit not a Category 7 human extinction attack 😱".
I like seeing ppl go "Zamasu is way more evil than Frieza"
I see Zamasu a lot like Thanos.
If Janemba ever becomes canon definitely would love to see a follow up on this vid

Brah I’m new here and I like your video analysis on the phycology and philosophy on all of these characters! But there still something I want to know how many real world fighting styles exist in dragon ball? And how many did goku learn ; and if he’s the greatest martial artist ever?
What about King Piccolo? Didn’t consider the “bad guys” from Dragon Ball. Like mercenary Tao Pai Pai.
Because it’s obviously not Tao Pai Pai
@@GregoriousThe1st What do you mean? He wasn't evil?
Frieza doesn't just want to win, he wants to crush his opponents and make sure they never rise against him again
Even after helping to save the multiverse and being praised by the gods for his uncharacteristic heroics in the TOP, dude was still like "Nah I'mma still be a dick, see ya losers"
Kinda gotta respect that grind
I love this so much lmao 2:27
I'm surprised you didn't mention Elec, that mf was cold, he sacrificed his own little brother like it was trash
why didn’t you do cell?
My #1 non canon most evil villain is Z BROLY
Reading the manga and then the dub, bloodily loved it. Those haters are just annoyed they aren’t 17 again
What's the Song at 13:40?
What gets me is the fact that Freiza dosen't really need an army of minions. They are barley anything to him, but it seems like it makes him feel important.
I say it all the time but if Frieza didn't rely on minions I think he would've won during Namek
Zeno just accidentally destroying a whole galaxy by getting excited
Something I think would be interesting to see would be a villain who wants to overthrow the Omni-King, but only because they believe that Zeno's lack of direct intervention against evil threats like Frieza, Moro, etc shows that the Omni-King is a hypocrite, and too childish to be the one in control over several universes
