Just got one today and all I can say is WOW. It handles good, is fast and has torque, in very comfortable for a sport suv. I will say a Mercedes might be more soft on the back but this car is the way you feel young again. It sounds great, looks good and has the features to back it up. Best part to me if the raw power and feel. There’s nothing like driving a BMW to be honest!
I am someone who thinks about off-road capability. I am looking to get a 2021 - 2023 X5 M50i because I don't like the interior of the 2024. I take care of my cars, but I also use them for what they are built for. I had an X3, and that thing did amazing off-road on an actual off road rated area, not just a dirt road. BMW's have one of the best AWD/4WD systems on the market. Why not use it and see what it can do. If BMW focused on off-road version, they could very well do as good as a Range Rover off-roading.
We have a 22 x5 M50i and a 20 540i with m sport package and couldn’t be happier. I have owned Kia, Hyundai, Ford, GMC Yukon, Sierra and Toyota. The tolerance on the build is far superior to all those I mentioned.
We love ours. Runs great, handles great and is pretty comfortable. It's a fun vehicle.
It’s a fun vehicle for infinite spending money for maintenance and repairs 😂😂😂
@@majood245 enjoy your Toyota Corolla!
@@majood245 you probably never owned a bmw

It's amazing the car dealers you go thru don't have mark ups?
This one doesn’t
I’ve got a X6 40i and it’s plenty quick for me city driving. The m50i is sweet though!
I love the X5 m50i as it does seem to be the sweet spot but that’s about 30 k over my budget.
it may be good but over priced, take into account the BMW repair bills as well 🤣.
I have a 40i it’s still awesome not as fast but still pretty quick
The B58 is amazing
100% agree
@@evan.c43 definitely is
I love BMW vehicles!! I might buy this Ben.

Great review as always. Putting this on my shopping list
Is this x5 still available?
I'm seriously considering this vs. the X5 M. I definitely want something comfortable for longer trips. Is the M50i the way to go?
You will not be disappointed once you own one…..especially when the guy in the 5.0 mustang has the look of how did I just get beat by an suv 😳
I just picked up my 2nd one a few weeks ago. All around great vehicle!
100% the x5m is very rough and not meant for long drive. The x5 m50 WITH dynamic handling package is fantastic
Isn't it just X5 M50i and X5 M competition?
Wow, what a great suv, what Do you think of the m5.
M5 is sweet
That’s an interesting perspective for the sweet spot to be over 100k vehicle. But I never drove it so idk lol
The M50i starts at $85K, for a midsized SUV w/ 523 hp.
@@aggiewoodie well you spec it out, which you should otherwise its not that nice, its over $105k
I have never thought the M50i comes with 20 inch wheel. In Australia, it is 22 inch. Is it because the winter tyre?
Mine has the 275 35 r22 front and 315 30 r22 on the rear. It’s about the package you get optioned on it. But it kinda sucks when tires run you $2500 😢
Mine came on 22” and had annoying rumbling, swapped for a set of 741M 21” RFT and the rumbling is gone.
X3 m40i is the sweet spot in my opinion
Sweet if you can get by with how small it is...then yes.
@@5IveNDlmethat’s why is the sweet spot not too big not too small.
@@ybstar05 issue is it’s mad small.
Trading my 2017 X5 4.4 for a 2023 X5 M50...
Just leased the 2023 MX5 50i Great motorcar…!
You know, it be nice if you mention how tall you are. Instead of just saying head room is nice..
Unfortunately, it's not actually leather
Sinister lol
Why do they put such cheap looking braces on top of such a beautiful motor!?!
You said your name so fast it sounded like being hard of hearing
$100k...😂
Well worth it
Let’s go Brandon !
Great unreliable suv
M45 quicker then M50
I just beat one in a stock Ford Explorer ST
Maybe he didnt know you were racing. Proof or didn't happened, lol
