Loved seeing the clothes flapping around on the lines like years ago... Think how much electricity is saved!!!Now people worry that it is not pleasing to the eye in their neighborhoods...so much energy is saved and that freshairsmell is awesome
I liked the nick nack of the old fashioned lady sitting at a typewriter. Reminded me of my first job as a secretary in 1969, altho I had an electric typewriter. However, I learned how to type on a manual typewriter.
Great directing skills, great variety of treasures, great finds!...as always! I loved the lady with the broom and her friend with the same colour dress 😍😍
I absolutely love this video those antique store were great so many awesome treasures loved the chocolate box Vinny showed the vintage kitchen looks like that have alot of cool pieces always injoy watching take care
I liked the shopping music selection- Bossa Nova or Cha-Cha? I thought I was cruising in my 1966 Chevy Bel Air with the top down, pink neck scarf flapping in the breeze. LOL.
So fun seeing this video. Inside I was screaming wanting to see the Victorian glass and porcelains I saw. (I caught myself rubber necking as though I could see around you. Haha) I missed how Vinnie nearly got you thrown out of Subway. 🤔
You were close with Kelley. That's my last name. You both had me laughing so hard! 😂 I love that Vinny has been sucked into it 🦃🚽. You don't need permission to tell the turkey toilet tale or my part in it. As you suggested, I'm owning it! 😊 And the t-shirt/merch 👕 idea . . . Love it! Thanks for the laughs gentlemen. 💕
Did I spy a set of pink candle holders in that basket? One day I am taking a vacation to go thrifting and antiquing in that area. The beginning of my bucket list.
Looked like Bo-Peep to me, too. Lol. I've been shopping with Vinny...actually, he hosted me in his town. We had a great time. I would love to shop with you sometime, too, Scott.
Look up Taylor Smith Taylor Conversation and quite a few pieces pop up. I love them! Thanks for teaching me about Teague. I love the Jack in the Pulpit pattern.
Always fun to shop with a friend. If you haven't tried Thrift books online is a great place for cheap books. Since they're so few current price books the old ones are good for identification and a lot under 7.00 .Doesn't hurt to have a variety of same subject, different items and info. Thanks again for taking us along.
HA!! I got a 1950s bug sprayer from George for my husband last Christmas!😃 It was called the Insec-o-Side! It was his most favorite gift. And he did just what you did. The gentleman in the 3 person photo looks like John Waters 😄. I’m so happy you and Vinny shared your journey. I truly appreciate it ♥️🐩
That red Morgantown bowl was a beaut, I hope you got it if the price was right. I really enjoyed the drive in the country and the shopping with you guys.
Wow - another Little Bo Beep cup! Loved the footage of the car ride along the country roads. I'm always drawn to simple views such as clothes hanging on a clothesline out in the country. Wondering if you or Vintage Vinny were recognized by any viewers/subscribers? Hoping you eventually got your whoopie pie!
Silly song! I understood about every 5th word!---Ha-ha...I have about 12 vintage bedpans, some vitrous from England, some enamel. As I sort through my garage, when I finally reached the tub they're in, I'll donate them to the local historical society. They have a vintage house that opens to tours a few times a year.---I don't remember the last time I saw the blue deviled egg tray, but I occasionally find the relish tray in the blue at one of the local antique shops. (I own a vaseline yellow deviled egg tray tho'!)---You 2 standing out front to do your live speech, both looked like you were posing for mug shots!!!---Oh, Watertown LIfetime Ware...in our home growing up, now on the Farmstead in North Dakota! I have a few pieces, but not easy to find for cheap!---You finished the scroll just as you were coming to the green glass. I was hoping to see if there was any roulette pattern on that display...sigh!--- Loved all the music with this edit!
The song was sung in Pennsylvania Dutch which is actually Pennsylvania German. And I have absolutely no idea when most of your message is crossed out. I have never seen that happen before. Very odd and nothing that I did on my end. Very strange.
Ha! Yes Elizabeth. I was watching this video and out of the corner of my eye I saw my dog shredding a piece of paper towel into many pieces. I kept on with the video 😄
Was there a few weeks ago and it was supposed to go again this week for their extravaganza but, didn’t make it. So happy to see you two shopping together!
That was great! I would have gone overboard on the books. (Did you ever get one for Ceramic Arts Studio? If not, I'll give mine to Vinny to give you later this month.)

This music is like shopping in the 1960’s.
The music was a gas!
I so love and always get a kick out of your insertion of old music especially the humor it lends to your videos. Thanks for making great ones Scott!!
All that good Pa Dutch Food and Vinny chose Subway!
We just wanted a quick light lunch. If we had eaten a mid day meal at Miller's we would have had to be wheeled out and allowed to take 2 hour naps!
@@oldcuriosityshop265 I feel you Scott. Sometimes I don’t want to eat a substantial lunch. Just for that reason 👌
Lol. I have Amish markets in my area that we go to a lot. It's normal when you live out in the country 😃.
@@oldcuriosityshop265That's Fleischsalat (German Ham Salad) country, which makes for a nice light meal.
Sweet Vinny is like the dog in the movie Up. "Squirrel!" 😊
Oh my gosh you and Vinny. Love the music and the laughs 😂😂
Oh, you played my favorite song! Great video. Thanks 👍💕
Good evening Scott 💓

You really had me smiling when you were playing with the bug sprayer! Thank you for cheering me up. ❤️🇨🇦
You are so welcome! Some folks think I'm too corny but I'd rather be corny than a sour puss. Glad to cheer you up!
Oh no, corny is good. Sometimes we forget how to play when we get older but it is good for the soul.❤️🇨🇦

Ha! Yes Elizabeth. I was watching this video and out of the corner of my eye I saw my dog shredding a piece of paper towel into many pieces. I kept on with the video 😄
Love these shopping videos!
Looks like the small farm town I grew up in. Population 803 ! Hee Haw!
I would've snapped up the Porceleir cream and sugar for $8. A deal like that doesn't come along very often!
Did you find a good smorgasbord to dine at. Don't forget the shoeflypie! Be safe and have fun. When is your group coming together again?
Look for my Julia Child’s first addition the French chef cookbook, next time.
I have that exact wash stand

Hi Scott
Was there a few weeks ago and it was supposed to go again this week for their extravaganza but, didn’t make it. So happy to see you two shopping together!
I’ve always noticed that vintage shops in the USA have beautiful linens.😀
There is also an “Ephrata” in Washington state, but we say “ee-FRAY-tuh”. Haha! Thanks for the video!

OK, what did you find for Mother's Day? Just watched a reseller who found yellow uranium candlesticks. Have fun, be safe.
Hello friends 👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼 I always think those are turnips ( vs onions or radish ) but all 3 will work. They were cute. Did you get them ? 😊
Naw......I spent my money on books.
@@oldcuriosityshop265 😊
You missed the Cubist painting!
You pronounce Lancaster is we do here in England.
How is this just now coming up on my feed 😩
Was that a porcelon strainer in front of the Hull planter @ 15:09?
I thought it was a Miessen fruit bowl.Probably a copy.
That was great! I would have gone overboard on the books. (Did you ever get one for Ceramic Arts Studio? If not, I'll give mine to Vinny to give you later this month.)
