I very fondly remember your two videos on the mod some 4 years ago :) We only semi-recently (about a year ago) restarted development and have been making great progress. We're in a bit of a transition-phase, where we're updating all of the old content bit-by-bit. Unfortunately, many of the countries still haven't been updated. I recommend playing either Lothlórien, Angmar or Mordor, as their focus trees are a lot more recent.
@@ilcapgames5016 You don't need DLC to run the mod, though we do make use of several dlc features here and there. If I had to say which ones have the most impact, it would probably be: LAR, AAT, DOD and TFV. Though none of them are worth buying for our mod alone. We really don't use them thaaat much
I remember checking out this mod in what feels like years ago now, and being disappointed that standard WW2 tech was still being used. I didn't know the mod has changed so much, it looks way more Middle-earth now and that's really cool.
For what my opinion is worth can I just say it's very refreshing with you being so open about what is going on in the rambler world, with you recent mental health struggles, imigration kerfuffle and this with your stitches. Breath of fresh air ser carry on

I had a wound separation similar to yours; my surgeon removed my sutures some time after surgery, I went home, and then I discovered, to my shock, that my incision had completely opened up, creating a large, exposed wound. I ended up spending 5 days (including Christmas) alone in the hospital, and then months of home visit nurses. Keep your chin up, I love your content, even your Rambler Fails, and enjoyed watching them in the hospital.

You do it the way you feel the best, and if you decide to not show yourself noone can say anything against it. Most importantly, get well, and I hope it doesn't get any more worse. Whilst I still believe the "Realms In Exile" mod for CK3 to be the superior experience, this does appear to be quite a fun mod in own right! I love how all of the events are still written in a modern style, with my absolute favourite being Mordor calling out the fellowship as a "terrorist cabal"! 😂
Really great mod showcase! I'd watch you do a whole A-Z series on this one. It might be fun to play a quick mp on this one with another creator. Having a Rohan to have your Gondors back would be awesome!

How about a Lothlórien run and trying (if possible) do a "dark Galadriel" run? I've wondered a long time how middle earth would shake out if Galadriel fell to the corruption.
@@ericfuchs123 Almost betrayed them all after saving Frodo several times and then dying to protect him. Faramir wasn't tempted but he also wasn't as good at fighting. I'm not saying sending Faramir was the same as sending in a clown, but he is most certainly not the best man for the job. Either in lore or the mod's mechanics in which Boromir has better stats all around.
Yo dude, hope you heal quickly. I had one removed from my arm last year and for some reason the doctor asked for an absolutely gigantic sample and it ended up really deep as well, resulted in like 14 stiches, half of which were inside the incision. It took im not even sure how long to heal and I still have a massive scar on my bicep that's not even begun to fade. Mod looks interesting btw, not a big fan of HOI IV (I am a ultra purist and I very, very much prefer 2 and 3 die to their being far more complex), but this mod could be what gets me into having another look.

As a small tip: Isengard only really has a core on Orthank I think, and they jave a very low population but like 12% recruitable even without any big mercenary or levy policies. So first of, every man is hard for them to replace and second, if you take Orthanc, they are pretty much guaranteed to capitulate. Also they have a focus to betray Sauron they will always chose on historical. This will make them leave the dark pact faction, at least till Mordor completes one of like 2 or 3 focuses to reinvite them

I'm only at the start of the video but the thing that always pulls me out of these mods is that Hoi4 combat system doesnt make sense for the type of warfare. I'm sure it'll be fun though
