Why won’t anyone give shelf measurements of this fridge? I’ve looked at a dozen sites and videos no one mentions the inside dimensions. It’s maddening!

    You know what this means.
No more roof vent, convenient for running solar wiring.
I guess future RVers will have to find alternative solutions to boondocking on battery while saving propane for the furnace.

@Devil_Travels Thanks for the comment. Future (and current) RVers already have a solution for hooking up solar panels for boondocking on battery. Way has a solar roof port with MC4 connectors that can be used to install solar panels on the roof of your RV. Our roof port makes for a clean water tight connection for solar panel wiring. You can find this and other solar panels and accessories on our website: www.wayinterglobal.com/collections/solar-panel. Let us know if you have more questions about this installation.

Never Chill..!! We barely got 6months of use before mine went out. Maybe used it 10x total. Company did send me a new compressor board but didn’t fix it. After informing the company warranty dept.. the lady basically told me that there was nothing they could do. Way Global knows that it was a defective model to begin with. So buyers beware! Was in storage after 1st camping season & then by the time we used it again in the Spring of last year.. didn’t work & the 1yr warranty was up. So we had to lug around a dorm style fridge all year.. I refuse to buy another NEVERCHILL. You’d think that the company would stand behind their product & have better quality control. But that hasn’t been my experience.. prove me wrong Way Global and treat your customers better.

I did reach out to Way customer service (Feb. ‘22) after the RV repair place (where I bought the RV new) dragged their feet for 6months trying to fix it. So after they called with a $2k quote for a new never Everchill 12 volt fridge I called Way Global myself for help. The first customer rep I spoke with “Bonnie”, was very helpful and concerned about fixing the problem. Bonnie got them to send a new compressor board. Her explanation was that particular model unit was notorious for having compressor issues. She also requested for me to have a repair technician test voltage of the various components, etc. to further diagnose the problem if that didn’t fix it. When I called back (2 weeks later) to speak with “Bonnie” about the voltage tests, & to inform her that the replacement compressor board sent did not fix the problem (fridge was not getting cold) I was told that Bonnie was no longer working there...Ugh! Unfortunately, then I got switched to another customer service rep, “Pat” who then looked up the claim report that Bonnie started. Then proceeded to basically tell me that, “due to the fact that the warranty had recently expired” that basically I was out of luck, & there was nothing they could do for me. Didn’t seem to be concerned about troubleshooting the problem, didn’t care about the voltage tests results I had recorded. In her defense maybe she doesn’t know how to diagnose the problem in general. So, I then asked to speak to someone else like a supervisor, technician or someone with more expertise.. which based on the tone of the conversation after that may have offended her. Then she told me that there was no one else that was able to speak to me about it & to call back next week if I wanted to speak with the supervisor. After that I realized she didn’t seem too concerned about helping me fix it. Her solution was for me to buy a new unit & telling me again there’s nothing she can do for me. I then informed her about their production of such a poor quality fridge compressor is not a good reflection on the company’s reputation, & that particular model was known to have certain compressor issues and other problems. That model was known to be defective from the very beginning of its production. Pat stated that she was unaware of any such issues. The company should be honest and try to fix the problem or possibly even replace the defective unit. At least offering to replace the unit at cost would be the minimal way to stand behind their product & protect their reputation. The early models of the nEverchill refrigerators are lemons.. & I believe the company knows about the defective compressor issues. Just search the internet for reviews on these issues.. there’s so many negative reviews how could they not know? Hopefully their more recent production of fridges are “way” better than the early ones. Beware- the model: WD-282FW is pure rubbish! I’m now going to replace it with an all electric 110v fridge for a fraction of the price of a new 12 volt nEverchill refrigerator - that “may or may not” work after 6 months. Just wanted to share my thoughts about my experience with nEverchill.. for what it’s worth. So buyer beware..

@@petermillett4467 Peter, thanks for your post. I have the WD-282FW and I too am having the same issues. They told me to contact the dealer, which has been useless so far. I am using some of your info along with my experience in my complaint to BBB. If this does not resolve the issue, next step may be a legal issue. Thanks again! What type 110v did you purchase to replace the WD-282? Thanks again. Tim

@@timwheeless I replaced my pathetic NeverChill fridge with an all electric Whirlpool 11.6 cu. ft. fridge Model# WRT112czjw (Lowe’s on sale $479!) for a fraction of the cost of replacing it with another NeverChill. The NeverChill “12volt residential style” unit stopped working after only around 6months or so of actual usage.. btw, bought the camper new. Replaced it with a Whirlpool WRT112czjw - added a new outlet in the area behind the old fridge for power to not need to run an extension cord. Added new outlet off the microwave outlet right beside the fridge compartment. No problem so far with circuit. Used the wall mount braces off the old NeverChill. Had to cut about 1 inch extra off the top area to get it to install easier.. which also gave it more ventilation. Took 2 people to install it. So far no problems or issues to report. Works great.. bottom area @ 37degress & freezer @ a minus - 5 degrees! Can now even enjoy ice cream, etc. The freezer is larger capacity. The NeverEverChill even when working “ok” never kept ice cream frozen. For boondocking I will
use my generator to keep it running. I realize some people won’t like going from a 12volt fridge to all electric, but it works for me. I was so disappointed with the NeverChill fridge & their customer service team I didn’t want to deal with them NeverEver again. 🥶❄️🍦🍨

Stay away from Everchill!!!! Already replaced one unit that took 5 months of the summer to get in and now our 2nd unit is not cooling. JUNK and our dealer that sold us this unit told us that there is nothing that can be done. Camper is 1 year old.

This frig is simply a piece of junk. We went through 3 in 2 years. Always the same issue - freezer cool, frig warm. Yes, yes and yes, we checked the amps and volts to the frig, the connections, our battery, ice build up, door seal, all that crap. Spent the first 2 summers in our BRAND new 2019 camper with a college fridge on our dining room table. 2nd one, talked with the President. He was nice and sent another. This 3rd one, the one year warranty had expired and had to pay $400 to have it installed by a service tech. (PLUS the $100 deductible on the extended warranty). Dealer was 2hrs away and we weren't leaving it there half the summer for whenever they got around to sending another one. If you have an Everchill, the best way to troubleshoot it is to tear it out and put a 10.7 cu ft electric in but you'll need to run your power source. You'll get 15 months or so out of the electric.. a lot more than these and a lot higher resale value. Check the Everchill reviews and customer complaints across the web. BTW, just sold the camper and found this video b/c the guy I sold the camper to is having problems with this 3rd frig. @Way do you want his contact info?
