- LYRICS
I fall to pieces
Each time I see you again
I fall to pieces
How can I be just your friend
You want me to act like we've never kissed
You want me to forget, pretend we've never met
And I've tried and I've tried but I haven't yet
You walk by, and I fall to pieces
I fall to pieces
Each time someone speaks your name
I fall to pieces
Time only adds to the flame
You tell me to find someone else to love
Someone who'll love me, too, the way you used to do
But each time I go out with someone new
You walk by and I fall to pieces
(I fall to pieces)
Each time someone speaks your name
(I fall to pieces)
Time only adds to the flame
You tell me to find someone else to love
Someone who'll love me too, the way you used to do
But each time I go out with someone new
You walk by and I fall to pieces
kd always makes me think of Patsy - both voices so clear as a bell. Beautiful.
She has such an easy way about her singing. She's brilliant. She makes it seem so easy. The music just rolls out of her like a burbling stream. Soft and so beautiful. Stunning voice. God I wish I could sing like that.
A Canadian treasure, and a gift to those of us in the States who know a great voice and talent when we hear one.
Isn't it total PERFECTION? k.d. had the soul of Roy Orbison in her heart that night. What a blast! I wish they would sell the Tribute to Roy Orbison Concert on DVD. It is so worth while!
K.D LANG you here so beautiful voice .
what a voice, what a womon, what a soul
Her voice mesmerizes me. She sings with all her heart and soul. I wonder what she is doing now'. I would go anywhere to see her perform. She first appeared in the USA on Johnny Carson.
Your getting closer. Even though this song was sung almost 40 years ago . Holy shit I missed out of all those years. Come to Providence, R.I.
KD is the ONLY person who can measure up to Patsy Cline...amazing voice
Great rendition K.D. Magic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we absolutely
adore KD in Mississippi too!
She is awesome, love her voice..spectacular.
Sublime. k.d. lang is a national treasure!
Colin Smith: She certainly is. But only for Canada. Wouldn’t we all like to claim her!!! 😊 (e.g. the USA! )
she is magnificent. In any setting any time anywhere,a force of nature. So wonderful that concert gave her a showcase.xxoo
Gosh..never knew she sang this wonderful song..a bit more upbeat than patsys but fantastic just the same..has there ever been a song that KD Lang cannot sing and knock out of the park..🇬🇧💞✝️🙊👍🎶👏
"Crying" THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VERSION EVER SANG.. BRINGS YOU TO TEARS, AWESOME!!!!
wonderful!
A classic made into
Yet another classic .
This is brilliant. I love k.d. lang... that voice and what a performer...and she's a total babe.
kd is a goddess:)
Still loving this song. I cant and wont forget you so I will just fall to pieces hearing you and your name.
I saw KD at Summerfest in Milwaukee in the mid 80's. We heard her before we saw her and had to follow the music we enjoyed it so. It was in a free tent, a beer tent. It was the first time I have ever heard of her. I will always remember the image. She was wearing a quilted skirt with a farm scene on it. I have looked on and off for years for any picture of her in that skirt. Maybe she only thought to wear it because she was in Wisconsin.
I'd have loved to have seen her in those early days - she certainly made a fashion statement ( not sure what ) !
I love her music and videos
Waiting for revival....a K.D. Lang revival. How about it K.D.?
Wow......200%......loved loved loved it.....thank you K.D. Lang!!
Fantastic interpretation...I saw KD in Massacusetts, USA at the time of "Absolute Torch and Twang" in a small teatre and she blew the roof off! It was at a "highly lesbian town" and the atmosphere was greeeeaaaat. I saw her later in Copenhagen...love kd!
what a fabulous voice .. the best ever!
Wow, what a voice! Thankyou for posting.
Hey babe. k.d.'s rendition of 'CRYING' from the TRIBUTE TO ROY ORBISON CONCERT (1990) has been on here. I have heard her sing it as well so many times BUT this version is my favorite, hands down. BLEW me away and always will.
Those folks standing, clapping, and hollerin' felt the true vibrations and they couldn't stop. k.d. looked a little embarrassed and I loved it! Makes you feel so GOOD inside for her success. Yabba dabba doooooooo!
k.d. had a showcase and I came back to life...no foolin'...and as always, thank you, k.d.
SAW HER SING AT THE RIVERSIDE THEATER BACK IN THE EARLY 1990's AND SHE PUT ON A FANTASTIC SHOW....WE WERE WAY UP IN ONE OF THE BALCONIES BUT THE SOUND WAS GREAT!!!
I was thrilled to attend her concert at U.C. Davis in 2012. Most awesome performer ever. Other-worldly voice! And such a kind, empathetic and all around genuinely good human being, with none of Celine Dion-like narcissism or materialistic tendencies. k.d. lives a down-to-earth, more simple life-she just loves to sing. IMO, one of the greatest singers in my lifetime (I’m 73). Fell in love with her when she sang at the ‘88 Winter Olympics in Calgary, Alberta. (I’d married a Canadian in ‘87, and lived with him in Calgary for many years.) Along with Nashville, many Canadians back then rejected k.d. because of her sexuality, and Albertans in particular because she was a vegetarian (Alberta being cattle country). Eventually, though, they got over themselves (for the most part-there will always be Bible thumping homophobes) and just came to love k.d. and her awesome voice. Bless you and thank you, k.d. lang!
@Sharon LaFrenz: love your comment. Good history of people who rejected her and others who saw the real talent and soul of k.d. I actually didn’t hear her song until around 2014. Never a live performance. ☹️☹️☹️ Now I can’t listen to her beautiful voice enough. I keep wishing I were Canadian! Or at least something that would bring me closer to her. HA! I am hoping she will maybe do one more tour after the virus is over, but I get it that she has moved on. Anyway, I am a fan FOREVER! Love her beautiful soul. ❤️
us 65 year old love it
i found it it is on hre and it is fantastic as always!!
Beautiful collage of pictures 😍🥰
I love this xxxxx
Thanks for sharing - I love K.D Lang
Awesomeness
Sue, if anyone can YOU can. Please upload k.d.'s performance singing "Crying" at the Tribute to Roy Orbison Concert which was the Saturday after the Grammys, 1992.
The 5 minute standing ovation blew us all away, but her performance is the quintessential version to be found anywhere. Young k.d. lang fans need to see it!
Love the photo montage. Thanks for posting. ❤️
Thank-you for all these wonderful photos. I love them as I love the song.

Голос удивительный! Спасибо!!!
Love you kd lang.
Loved her so much way back then! Saw her at UWaterloo in the old days and got to meet her!!! Thank God she was around then and so wonderfully original in the days before she would have been forced to change her image and be Hollywood "styled"!!!
She isn't Hollywood style...k.d. will always do what k.d. wants to do.
Love you KD
Please come to Hawaii
This Gal sure could SING !!!
+Elvis Presely Can sing, Elvis.

Patsy Cline is terrific, but can't hold a candle to kd. But then, no one can.
Goed zangeres

Phew ! Noone on earth can beat Patsy but your version is brilliant. Patsy didn't even like the song (she says.)
👏👏👏👏👏

You can down load any video you want ...Go 2 U-TUBE, every old & new song is there, and share on F.B Or any where U want 2 share.
👍🙏🎶🎶🎶😂😘💋
Despite her sexual preference, the country music made a huge mistake by shunning away from her talent. Taylor Swift could learn alot from this lady.
Nobody cared about her sexual preference, she attacked the beef industry .
@@sharksport01 Country radio did.
She’s great.
@@Csee596
Yeah, i really dont think she was striving to be a nashville country star. Country was definitely an element but she was spanning jazz, twang, western, torch etc. Much like Chris Isaac. They even recorded the same songs. Did country music shun him too?
She sounds like Anne Murray a bit in this song
I wish kd picked up the pace a little, like Patsy Cline's version, but this is still very good. I think the faster pace identifies more with the chaos experianced by a person in this situation.
I think she love to draw out the songs, that's how she draw you in.love her too.
