I remember watching K.D. Lang winning the award & her running up to the stage in a wedding dress -- I couldn't believe it. WHAT A TALENT --

She was tearing up the Alberta bars when we lived in Edmonton in the early 1980's. It was seismic.

I love kd, too! 🥰
KD is the ONLY reason I listen to this type of music. She's got it...and she knows how to use it! 💗 People who don't like her are the ones who are missing out.
Che bel video, ho visto Kdlang interpretare canzoni che non avevo visto prima. Grazie!
A beautiful woman in every sense.

That’s sad over meat:Her voice pure joy
Saw KD Lang in Sydney, NS many years ago. Little did I realize what a star she would become. Loved her voice then and I still do! ❤
I love you KD! Speak your truth as you tolerate others truths.
a guilty pleasure i still love her early stuff, it was a lot of fun- the polka stuff was crazy fun.
"It was easier to come out as gay in Alberta than it was to come out as a vegetarian." 🤣🤣🤣
I first heard her in late 80 ies, interview on the radio with Jack Webster. Remember he commented on her glasses with no lenses, she said they were physic… always high energy.
Alberta had a harder time with her being a vegetarian than being gay. Oh Alberta.
She looks like Elvis sounds like an Angel”.
Thank you for posting this. I feel like I have watched all the kd lang video's available anywhere so some of this I have not seen. I wonder if kd will release any of the very early days of some of the music she and Drifter made together. How great would that be?!
I remember first hearing KD and the reclines when they opened for the Beachboys in Edmonton! Amazing!
Imagine being soooo INCREDIBLY Ignorant as to stop listening to KD's music because she was a vegetarian and spoke out against eating meat. These People!
I love you
Saw her live at that time in Toronto
,🌹
❤❤❤❤
gosh, it really annoyed me how quick they turned against kd after speaking out against meat. ugh!
Sadly people livelihood were threatened, and took it as a betrayal. But she was true and unapologetic.
We used to go and watch her perform in a club downstairs on the Boardwalk in Edmonton (before the Sidetrack days), but I've forgotten the name, and it never seems to get mentioned anywhere. Can anybody help?
kd lang you should record a song by Blake Shelton, "I Don't Care."
