I purchased a fusion in 2013 and still driving it- I love it!! Bring it back, but not electric!! Please bring it back, gas mode!!
I believe it was a mistake to drop the Fusion and the Taurus from the lineup. They just conceded the sedan market to the Asian companies. Hope they bring it back.

@@MikeSmith-ey7ku Really dumb move for sure. They are everywhere and have been used for a lot of taxi companies too. If ford wanted to compete with Tesla and other companies they should have updated the Fusion and add a electric power-train.
🤣Ford has most recall costs of the big companies. They need high margin trucks to pay for that, and to get rid of lower quality, little/no profit sedans.
@@wonderplanet343 I believe that thinking is going to backfire on them. It has for me. Bought a new Escape in 2021 and it has been nothing but trouble for me. I am getting rid of it and buying a Toyota Corolla. Better ride, much better fuel economy and more reliable than the Escape.

I love my Fusion. This car is a sturdy, reliable beast. I drive 160 miles a day 5 days a week. Has yet to let me down. I wish they would still make Fusions.
I’ve a 2014 Ford Fusion and driving it is happy moment even now. Would have been my goto car all the time. I didn’t leave Ford and but they left me.
I have a 2013 Fusion Titanium. Been the proud owner for over 4 years and currently has about 106,000 miles on it.
THE FORD FUSION TITANIUM WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITES ESPECIALLY WITH THE HYBRID CAPABILITY.
BRING US BACK THE FUSION PERIOD.

The Fusion has a following, car clubs are growing. There's a Fusion Flood yearly gathering to show off all the modifications. I'm not selling mine, I love it. The Tesla screen is on my "I'm getting" list. So much you can do with these cars ❤
I had a PHEV Fusion and loved it. Averaged 40+ mpg with adaptive cruise, lane avoidance and other safety features, it was a relaxing vehicle to drive and have.
I have a 2012 fusion, 21000 kms. Still runs like new, love it.
did you mean 210000 kms, because otherwise that would mean you drove it less then 2000km a year or 1250 miles a year, which is barely even driving it.

I agree with that statement. Lincoln needs to be put back in the true luxury car range(competing with Cadillac, Lexus, Infiniti, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz). Bring back the Mercury brand as well.
We have owned 3 Ford Fusions and loved them, perfect for my wife and I. Dumbest move I have ever seen to instantly drop all your cars except for the Mustang. Also I really love Ford trucks but prices are just too darn high across the board.
They should of never stopped making sedans completely! Especially Taurus & Fusions. I thought i was gonna have to buy a foreign bc i dont care for suv's. PLEASE COME BACK AND NEVER LEAVE AGAIN!!!

Return of a sedan is smart, making it electric is stupid ! What ya need to put back out is a decent 4 cyc or small V6 and forget all that info electric crap ! We need people movers not over cost electric golf carts !

We have 2020 Fusion Titanium plug in. Truly a great car. Nice ride, very quiet, lots of tech, very economical and reliable. Bought it used last year at a much better price then any other plug in at the time with more luxury and features. We use it for a lot of local driving. Have not filled the tank in 2 months and is averaging 100 miles per gal mostly on electric. Just plug it in the wall overnight and ready to go next morning.
Please bring this beautiful car back to the USA, PLEASE!

I've been driving a Ford Fusion Hybrid for 15 years, loaded with every option, and it rides good as new. Thought about replacing it with a Toyota last year, but when the Fusion passed state inspection for under $200 we decided to keep it a while longer. Would def be a buyer if Ford returned to making Fusion hybrids.

I'm a black female and a couple years back I bought a Ford used Ford fusion when I say the technology all the comfort of a luxury car it had in it it just was a Se and it kicks butt with all these new cars any day. Might I add it's my first Ford car, I still have it right now it running well everything technology air conditioner everything still works on it perfect. My mileage is at 22351 all you got to do is keep that oil change and keep it moving.. soild, built not like these plastic built, we over pay for , now! showing ford love, thank you for it because that was my first car.
Fuck the EV put the 2.7 in it with an 8 speed. The MK2 Fusion Sport was a freaking bargain.

I have been looking for the fusion I just knew about it this year in an auction and I wasn't registered. I fell I love and now I will be in the first 10 to buy it in South Africa. And I will save to buy it cash and own it fully

I was super super super excited, till all i heard was electric. Ugh. There are tons of us that still dont want electric. I dont understand why automakers cant make both and let the customers decide what they want. Ive been an all ford or mostly ford family since the early 90s,... but whoever keeps the gasoline cars will get my money. Im sure i speak for many. And before anyone freaks out,.. im not opposed to electric,... if thats your thing,.. go for it. But its not for me. I already have an all electric house,... and im NOT a fan. I dont want an electric vehicle too.

Had my hopes up u til he said electric, if it would have been an ST option with twin turbo dohc 6 cylinder or a 5.0 coyote V8, I would have been interested.

I think it was a mistake for Ford to drop fusion and Taurus after all Toyota, Nissan Honda all the other car companies, especially Japanese all cell cars, so why can’t we over here? Just like luxury brands why did we drop continental if Lincoln would’ve done more to give it that unfit needed I think would still be selling. They should’ve done the coach doors right off the bat and not just for the prototype. The problem is you’re showing cars in this video. In the car you do show says Montego, which is a brand that Ford has only made for overseas not for the US. Just like the redesign of the Lincoln Nautilis Ford is not showing any version of the edge yet hopefully soon it will show that as well.
The big 3 gave up on a good portion of their customer base.

I loved my Ford Fusion, until mine got repoed...

So this is going to be all electric, made in China crap? I’ve had enough of Chinese junk. I won’t buy anything made in China, unless I really need it and can’t find one made somewhere else. I have a Samsung tablet that was made in Vietnam. I purchased it because everything else was made in China. I always check where something is made before I buy it.
Ford should not have dropped the Taurus or the fusion trucks and SUV’s aren’t getting it like they thought.

There has been no official announcement that the Chinese Taurus/Mondeo/Fusion is coming to North America. Only announcement that Chinese built Nautilus is coming here.
The Fusion would have made the perfect car for a Hybrid / PHEV, even the name implies it but Ford totally missed the on ramp and jumped into a losing strategy going EV :(
Make me a Hydrogen ICE Fusion and I would buy it but not and Electric. EVs will be the Betamax of the car industry.
The main thing wrong with the Fusion was that it wasn’t as astronomically profitable as Ford’s loaded trucks and SUVs. Now that the industry has learned there isn’t a bottomless market for $100k trucks, Ford’s ready to settle for a smaller margin.

Loved the Fusion, but I will not buy an electric version or hybrid. If you want to do the Fusion justice, bring back the naturally aspirated V6.
Unfortunately if Ford doesn't start straightening things out, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Ford was once a leader in the 90s through about 2012/2016. This company has lost me with their logic. My family has been loyal to Ford since the 60's when my father was a factory backed racer for Ford, but unfortunately I may be breaking tradition if they don't start stepping up soon.
Maybe cuts and reorganization need to start at the top. Assembly line workers are building quality, but design, engineering, and direction our lacking.
I love my 2009 Fusion, don't make it an EV. Plus, EV sales are going down because governments around the world and cutting back on the rebates they give out.

Fusion is not a beloved icon lol. It was not a replacement for the Taurus, the Ford 500 was. The 500 did badly and they named it back to Taurus after a slight redesign. The fusion replaced the crap bomb of a car the Contour. The Taurus was innovative, sleek and ahead of it's time when introduced in the 1980's and is actually a icon. But Ford as done nothing much since then. The Taurus needs to be reinvented into a future looking electric car. Ford stopped building cars because they could not build one that was profitable. Now it looks like SUV's are not enough and now they got to depend on commercial products. What happens to them when innovators like Tesla start building commercial vehicles? Ford is becoming an outdated one trick pony and is way too top heavy with engineers and management for the products they produce. I am only 1 minute into this video lol.
