The crowd chanting was amazing Friday. The crowd SINGING was so loud Sunday that at times it almost drowned out the band. That was one of the best Metallica crowds I've been in, and I saw them in '94, S&M2, and both 40th shows. The crowd was all-in last night. incredible. And Lars and Kirk were killing it. James' vocals, especially Sunday, off the charts. It was surreal.
Agreed! Saw them in 91 at Day on the Green, a bunch after that, including the 40th shows, and that was one of the best crowds I've been in as well! Both nights were amazingly loud!
I was there for Night 2 in Chicago, This was not only my first Metallica show but my first ever concert, It was amazing and the whole setlist was FIRE!!
I was in 120. Row 6. Opposite corner as you. Loudest concert of my life. That stadium. Ice Nine was great, FFDP was awesome, Metallica blew the sky open with this finale (One/Sandman) Wish I could've gone friday, too.
To all my Metallica family. I am from Canada. First time I saw Tallica was 1986 Puppets tour. They are incredible. They have so many great songs. I will say this they sound best live. 🤟
And Justice For All was a monster album the last "real" Metallica album after that album they went in a different direction which still kicked ass but you could definitely tell a difference this whole album was so fucking heavy every song on it was a work of art, I miss that Metallica. They will forever be legends in metal, I saw them on the tour for this album in 89 and it was fucking amazing
Went to 1st night show. Great concert, but didn't know they split set list btwn nights 1 & 2. I was SO freaking excited to hear this song, as it is my favorite. Huge disappointment when I found out it was on the set list for night 2.
Was a bit too expensive for us to afford anything, but I’m never skipping another Metallica gig, ever. No matter what the cost of going is-life, limb, radiation poisoning…
Thank you for the upload! Such an amazing song. We absolutely cannot reelect an egomaniac who keeps insulting our military veterans and minimizing their contributions to our great nation.
This was an amazing show with everyone doing such a good job I just don't like soldier field as a venue. Definitely the best time I've had here but man is the acoustic bad I mean it isn't designed for it either.
(You guys don’t have to agree with me.) I was there for night 1 couldn’t make it to night 2. For me, I prefer night 1, but night 2 was also very good. Night 2 had very good songs like one, For whom the bell tolls, Enter sandman, and much more. It’s not that I don’t like night 2, I Just prefer a Friday night At Solider Field because Sunday was shorter and people have to work as well. Both nights had fire songs it’s not that I hate one song so I just went to night 1, we also got Panturm for night 1. The other bands were also good, What are your guys opinions? I’m really interested bc I’m guessing we are all not on the same page.
I watched this and it's not the Metallica I saw back when I was very fortunate to get into the Snake Pit, they were still very much a raw band so full of life, I got to touch Jason Newsteads arm, it was awesome, this isn't them, it made me sad watching and listening to it 😣
Last night show was a biblical experience. To me this is there greatest song live
Idk… they didn’t even play an encore. Cmon man that’s just unacceptable.
@@Randymarshfan11 they never do
@@Randymarshfan11Enter Sandman has been the last song on every M72 tour show. What would you even play to top that?
I was there Friday

Saturday was my first Metallica experience and the crowd was fuckin awesome.

I've seen footage from both days. Was it really that loud? Kicjkong myself for missing both shows, as I live in the city.
I was there for Night 2 in Chicago, This was not only my first Metallica show but my first ever concert, It was amazing and the whole setlist was FIRE!!
It was also my first
Saw them on the 11th. First metallica show I've gone too. People are not lying when they say they are incredible live. That show I will never forget.
I was screaming so crazy and vibing. First tallica concert. My feet still hurt at times.
My fav Metallica song. Love the instrumentals and listened to it as if I was watching a horror flic.

First ever Metallica show on 8/9/24 and saw the greatest song ever written 8/11/24. Could not ask for more
Best I have ever heard Lars. He was on fire both shows.
Agreed. It’s clear he’s been practicing.
Lars gets way too much hate, that was some of the best drumming I’ve seen live on Friday and Sunday
Is it possible he's gotten better???

Incredible stage production. One of the best shows I’ve ever been to

Brings back memories...I seen metallica back in 1989...1992...1994...

i love when it gets dark, cause EVERYONE knows whats coming.
5:48 SECTION 232 I WAS ABSOLUTELY LOSING IT, both Friday and Sunday concerts genuinely changed my life.
I was in 313
I witnessed this live❤
I was there yesterday in the mid section of the stadium and that shit was awesome love this song😝🤘🏻🤘🏻
This was so cool to see this live! Last night was amazing!
The greatest Metallica song ever

Loved the double bass drumming, you really felt it in your chest.
Man I wish I was there… going to miss Gojira and Iron Maiden that are coming here soon too.

I was there. Amazing. Great post. Thanks
Metallica is the biggest band in the world!!!😮😊
Then you haven't heard Rammstein!
I was there as well and it rocked
I MISSED IT.
Superb performance 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Can’t wait until FRIDAY!
I was there awesome
Man Its been decades since Ive seen Metallica how awsome, what were ticket costs for this show?
This was an amazing show with everyone doing such a good job I just don't like soldier field as a venue. Definitely the best time I've had here but man is the acoustic bad I mean it isn't designed for it either.
The parking, specifically the lack thereof, is even worse. Gotta walk over a mile and still pay an overpriced rate.

They didn’t play Sanitarium at all lol. Wrong show bud
@@RyanHeinzyour right, I had thought they played it, because that’s what I heard.
Metallica is GOD🤘🏼
God Made Man, Heaven and Earth Man made METALICA
I was there sitting in the very back
What were ticket prices
I was also there

Metallica 1:30
Night 1 or 2

Best song of the night
2
2 was ridiculous
Man Pantera got really screwed opening up on this leg of the tour hahaha.. that stage is awful in the day time and way better at night
