I really enjoy your M8 tutorial series. This episode *finally* showed me how to use the "release" parameter in the ADSR envelope. I had no idea the "OFF" command was there and now it makes perfect sense for why it's not automatically triggered. Placing the OFF command is like setting the length of a note in a typical piano roll.
Thanks for this series! I'm looking forward to the rest of the playlist.

I don’t know anything about synthesis but I was glued to this. I guess I love the logic of it all. I always liked stuff like HTML and good old MS-DOS and this has a similar feel. I almost felt as though I could get the hang of the M8 watching this video!! 😮

Thank you very much for this lessons! They are exactly what I've been looking for since I,'ve got the M8. There are loads of great videos about this device, but you don,t assume any previous knowledge, which is great.

Should be getting my M8 in November. Been watching all your vids. I'm used to the Electron workflow, where every step you could have a different filter cutoff or frequency value, but on the M8, those values seem baked into the instrument. Is there a way to change these per step, or would you have to make several variations of the instrument and program them in on whatever steps you wanted?
