Duuuude every track you show is gorgeous. Its a gem to my ears, nice vid.
The track at the end is sooooo awesome. Nice work on an nice device ;)
The mini map for the menus is so cool!!!
man what a sick track you made
Things like this motivate me to get through college. One day I'll be able to afford this. Amazing video
Yes! Tim is brilliant. It’s nice to see M8 get covered like this. I have been a user since the beta units went out. I made a few videos about it in the beginning but this is much more comprehensive and educational. Great stuff as always!
this is sick. one second in and i can tell this is sick.
the true highlight is the m8 tracker based album coming 👀🎶
My M8 arrived in the UK yesterday. So excited to get stuck in. I've had an OP-1 for a few years but barely used it. I see this being much more up my street even though I've never used a tracker before (maybe I did back in the Atari ST days).
Can they be connected and synced and used together in such a way that they complement each other?. I could see so much potential for fun!
Must have! I don’t care how hard it is to learn!
Loving Rituals. Especially Xiphoid!
Bopping all through work with this jam.
i accidentally got my hand over LSDJ last year and M8 looks like a modern Little Sound DJ on steroids. thanks for a great overview, really hope to get lucky and grab an M8 too 🙏
SO many great things about this but...that waveform display is beautiful.
I just got mine! Played around with it for a few hours. By no means came up with anything complex or as magical as jeremys but i learned how magical the volume filters can be. Otherwise the notes never end haha.
So cool. the tracker aspect is intimidating to me but this has everything I wish the TE Pocket Operators had. Good effects, expandable storage, and a visible UI for composing tracks
Sick video! Your the main reason i ended up with an OP-1 a couple years back that i ended up flipping and going through a musical drought. Lately instead of my traditional ableton flow I've been on the search for portable or dawless music making devices and currently have the SP404MK2 which is crazy and I'm using records, cassettes, my buddies roland t8 which is hella fun and my MC707 for samples, BUT this thing looks like it might replace the MC 707 because WOW i feel like I'd get lost for hours of fun in this thing. Great vid man this thing looks awesome and I'm glad your making music and not on a switch! haha keep up the good work and inspiration my friend!
Red, holy moly you never disappoint in your videos! You truly are an inspiration! Great video and I cant wait for the album drop!
I love the sample chops, big Gold Panda vibes.
Absolutely
When i see you starting with the sheep tune i never thought you could make a real song like at the end !
I've been waiting to be able to order one of these for months!
Me too. Then the import costs to UK too *sigh
@@GregDixson yes, will work out at around £500.
so cool! I've been eyeing the polyend tracker for a while, def gonna look into this one a bit more before deciding what to get
I love your wristband!!
Thanks for making and sharing this review. I had not come across the M8 but it looks wonderfully fun: very tempting.
What a great overview of this amazing machine. Bought mine a couple months ago to use while traveling on the tour bus, which I’d be doing right now had I not left my SD card in the computer at home :/
😭
this thing looks awesome. the amount of menu diving i just watched you do would make me blow my head clean off.
The D20 with the 8 face up is a nice touch
Holy crap! Takes me back to the old Amiga!
Ohhhhhh helllllll yes!!! I missed my “in stock” email by like 4 hours and STILL can’t get one. BUT I’d much rather see what you’re doing with it until then and beyond. Thank you!!!
Hated this thing first, but it's undoubtedly growing on me.
Just got mine yesterday and I was about to look up tutorials on it and then I see this. Thanks so much!
