You were totally right, chips and dip! Jack was right also, the smaller bowl went on the edge of the bigger bowl. Wow 5.00 what a great unit. Some really great items. What a great profit!!! You sure do know how to pick them : ) Keep it up Janna! ♡
Wohooo!! Another great buy!! Love the family locker cleaning day. Great profit and best part quick turn around so have room in garage for more goodies!! Glad you are going to go and buy more! Betting we see that dollar challenge soon!!! Best wishes as always from Michigan!!!
The glasses are made by Culver glass company and are from the early to mid 1960s. They’re highly collected and the design on them is made with genuine 24 karat gold. Cool stuff!
OMGOSH!! That clock radio I got one 41 years ago!! It was my new clock radio to get up to school with!! I use to pick up radio stations 500 miles away with that little thing!! Love it!! The little TV was from the early 80’s very late 70’s
You knocked it out of the park on this one! A unit that has nice things and not a lot of junk to remove is always a great find! Can't go wrong with mid century!
That small round glass lid was a cheese dome. My grandfathered LOVED his. He had a dark piece of wood and would put around a 2lb chunk of colby or swiss and he cut off a piece and put it under that dome and let it sit on the table. Cold cheese has almost no taste. Warm colby and warm swiss has a GREAT taste. After he died, I got his and still use it to this day. He died in 1985.
I think you guy’s do this the best of everyone that I watch on here very Professional and I really like the way you end it but what yourself for how much thank you very much I will continue watching you guys
I had to chuckle when Jana pulled out the dip bowl, my dad Rep'd those things when I was a kid. All the bar-ware looked sooooo familiar and yes all the glassware was high end, early '60s. The Danish pieces were in incredibly good condition.
Thank you guys for putting out quality videos and being yourself. Don’t get me wrong I love the other channels but they try to hard instead of being theirselves like you guys. Love the way you explain stuff at the end and how you sold stuff. Keep putting those videos out
Your daughters have the best “Oh Dad!” faces!! Out of all the video channels I enjoy yours the best!! You are so organized, it makes the videos fun. I scream at the tv when I watch Vegas!! His truck is a mess and he always wants the stuff in the back of the unit!! Keep up the good work and God bless!!
Yes I think they got under cut on the prices of a few items ,like the dish set $100.00 ,the tv, the Hope chest $100.-150.00. I would have loved that whole thing put right in my house . Beautiful things.
Your wife is pretty and cool , great presence on camera . Your a lucky guy so make sure you make her a brew after those dusty lockers . Great kids and channel you all come across very humble and polite , hope you find even more treasure
Those green fiberglass chairs were from the years 1970 - 1971. I recognize them. They can be cleaned with just soap, & water. Polished with a squeezed lemon. All the wood furniture can be re finished with stain, or tung oil. Then buffed to remove the extra from the surface.
Nice buy Jenna, loved when Jenna said” love anything from the 50’s” good then you will love me haha .... lol TV is from 70’s date code is not the year. TV’s became available to public in 1950. You all did good. ♥️
You hit the Retro gold mine. Very sellable. That was a chip and dip bowl. I remember those. The table and chairs should bring good. Saw two of those chairs on antique road show in orange that brought a high price. Many people are into retro today.
Ohmy !! ✨That was a great Day with a great locker 🍀☀️ .. glad you all found it 🙃🍀.. thanks for sharing this blessed locker and sales with us ☀️ 😊 have a great Day sweethearts ☀️😊
just found your channel. I am a rummage junkie, always wanted to watch the locker auctions. Thank you - now I can feed my need and live vicariously thru your challenges/joys of digging. It is great that the kids help out!! they may not always like it but will have fun memories of things you have pulled out of the lockers! thank you!
Your fam. is adorable. You said these glasses are cool and the girl holding the camera, was shaking her head no. I think it's great your whole family gets involved. God bless u guys
Well Jack, looks like Janna was able to help with the bottom line in a huge way! Glad you both came up combined smelling like roses. Those mid century modern pieces went for crazy money. I am amazed. Congrats on doing well and congratulate Janna for me! Great teamwork!
Wow!! I absolutely loved watching this. The coolest part is seeing your family do this together. Thank you so much for sharing this with us!! God bless!!❤
Awesome locker Janna. So many retro items in this unit which is very cool as quite a few interior designers are bringing all that back into style. The little dish you pull out with the metal attachment hooks onto the larger bowl. I have a set like that but a little different pattern. The yellow item in the bag is used for scuba diving and definitely an expensive piece of equipment. Great unit
From what I have looked up just about all of the item's are from the 60's I love item's from the 60's because they was made to last longer then what we have today. Happy you got that unit for $5.00.
Wow for 5 dollars that was and awesome unit you both did great on that unit and god bless your kids they are adorable blessings to you all and keep sending those great videos wow that was amazing great deal
Nice $5 locker I like to buy these smaller ones if I can get them cheap enough, easy to clean, and I don't have to store a lot of stuff. Just bought one for $60, found about $2000 in climbing equipement
The wood bench looks as if it's from a Sauna, or porch bench. It can be used for a coffee table, I would place a sheet of glass on it though. The Decorative Bowl is for chips & the small cup hangs on the side for a dip. I had a clock radio just like that one. Love it!!! Mine was from the 60's. That is a pretty pattern of china. Janna, that is a FRENCH PRESS Coffee pot. Is that big, heavy yellow thing maybe an UNDERWATER CAMERA??? There is a lot of DIVING books & flippers... Those furniture pieces are Scandinavian, I think. GRAM in TX.
Nelson Platform Bench Equal parts seat and surface, the Nelson Platform Bench emerged from George Nelson’s Fortune magazine office to join his first Herman Miller Collection in 1946. Made with polished chrome or ebonized wood legs, and available in three lengths with a choice of finishes, it serves as a bench, low table, or foundation for the Basic Cabinet Series. A landmark of modern design, the bench has the clean, rectilinear lines that reflect designer George Nelson’s architectural background and his insistence on what he called “honest” design-making an honest visual statement about an object’s purpose. Solid wood slats are spaced to let air and light through, sealed with a clear-coat finish, and finger-jointed for superior strength, all of which make the bench ideal for offices, public areas, and homes.
Locking nuts your wife is amazing Jen she's so down-to-earth she seem like she's kind humble and very helpful love her like I love watching your Channel and your whole family God bless you all I can't believe it an amazing return James you have a wonderful wife and Kids can't wait to see you on locking nuts peace out all the way from Spain
Enjoyed your video very much. Here's a tip for you, always check the bottom of the dresser drawers. I knew a lady that left hundreds of dollars there! I shouted when I found an envelope taped to one with five $100 bills inside. Wish it was mine, but I was helping someone clean out a hoarder's place.
I can't believe that underwater camera housing only got you $20! It was rated to 76metres (250ft) - that's professional level stuff! It would've cost mega $$ back in the day.
Yeah but it was old. I think it was more of a decorative piece at this point. Also it was missing the clips, and the bungie cord probably isn't ideal for securing the glass underwater.
I know your gonna think i am crazy but love the hankie brought back memories of my dad he always had one on him. I wish i could of had one but dont know who got them all. Thanks for the memory
Great video guys, really love having the whole family clean the unit! One of my favorite video. Also the picture in picture made it hard to watch. Excited to see the next one.
VERY nice score!!! A smallish sideboard designed by Torben Strandgaard was sold on Etsy for over $3,000 recently. The Danish mid century furniture are very popular and sought after modern mid century items.
I am from South Carolina. I enjoy this program so much. If I was able, I would love to watch all you younger guys in person. I can’t believe you don’t know what some items are. You don’t want a spider bite. Research Brown Recluse.spiders. They love dark places. They are very dangerous. They are all over the south. Never put on a shoe without checking. They hide in barns, storage lockers etc. Even closets.
My parents used to host Bridge Club (couples who got together and played a card game called Bridge) all those things are for serving snacks. Relish trays, chip and dip bowls, nut bowls, all those kind of things. The small glasses are shot glasses. My parents and grandparents had all those things. They even had something called fondue pots for melting cheese and chocolate. We still have a lot of those kinds of things all packed up. Watching this brought back a lot of memories.
LOVE your videos....fairly new to watching but I inherited my grandmothers "hope chest" and it is the exact same as the one found in this unit! Fun to see. Thanks for the great videos.
Congratulations on the mid century mod finds. The glassware and everything in the first few boxes are all 50s and 60s. I recognize the diamond and crosshatch design on the box of small barware glasses. It's a very recognizable pattern from the 1950s. Awesome finds! LOTS of intrinsic value in there! The Eames chairs are great!!
I ❤️ MCM furniture! My Mom had the same gold chip and dip set. Awesome locker! We had the china set. Mom earned it at the grocery store by saving stamps.
Thank you so much for watching and supporting us please subscribe to our channel ❤️

My parents was the same way. Got love the 70’s parents. Love the channel
The little glass dome cover might have a wooden board it sets on to be a cheese board.
Dip bowl hooks on side of bigger bowl. You hit the mid-century modern jackpot!
That chip and dip set is exactly like the one I received as a wedding gift in 1965.
The glasses are made by Culver glass company and are from the early to mid 1960s. They’re highly collected and the design on them is made with genuine 24 karat gold. Cool stuff!

Alpaca Made That’s very cool thanks for sharing ❤️ it was my favorite item
the Torbin Strandgaard is a great piece you can get any where from 1800-3500 for that piece
Box with glasses is definitely a 50’s early sixties box as many of the style of the things my mother had which were bought at that time
Wow, Janna! You knocked it out of the ballpark! 👍👍 Tyfs.
Debbi Vaughn Thank you❤️
That’s awesome! Only 5.00 that’s crazy! Good job! 👍

I had that general electric clock radio, it's from about 1978.

Great tip! We usually do that, we just don't show it on camera because it's not exactly exciting... especially since I haven't found anything yet.
Wow Janna that was awesome!!!!!
It's Onlyme thank you!
Love seeing the boss and the girls. And you of course Nuts. He He.

A bungie cord? Lol, yeah, I wouldn't like to rely on that to protect an expensive camera!
Love all the retro items! The chairs I remember from school. Great job!
Very good video! And you guys, as a family, get along so beautifully --it was such a pleasure to see.
You are correct about the chip and dip set. It’s from the late 50s or early 60s. It’s in fantastic shape too.
Love you summarizing the profit vs cost
I love it when you give the recap at the end. So much fun
You guys are the cutest couple ever! I love you both so much! I also love all your videos! Keep on pushing on!

@ 10 mins - that Technics turntable could be worth anywhere from 100-400 depending upon model number - very chill find!
