Somehow this feels even more like an Old Western crossed with a Superhero film than the original theme did, and those vibes were already very strong
As someone who's nearing a thousand hours on FNV I adore this. Amazing work!
1000? What is this..amateur hour?

I was really skeptical, especially when I heard the first few seconds.. I asked myself, what is this supposed to be Resident Evil?? But I gave it a chance, and watched as it evolved to incorporate the Fallout New Vegas themes that we know and love. I was originally hoping the Main Theme would be a close remake to the original... but after hearing this, I would take this theme over the original. It suddenly hit me that this isn't Fallout New Vegas. This is Fallout 4: New Vegas. This theme encapsulates not only nostalgia and atmosphere of the original FoNV, but also the battle it has been to recapture it in a better engine, and bring that story back to the forefront of gaming where it will stay for as long as there are games. This theme might just be perfect.
Also, I accidentally opened the youtube link and it played seamlessly as the discord video link ended. The soundtrack works very well as a loop
The first couple of seconds are actually I do believe from the original NV soundtrack. They sound like they share the same notes from the soundtrack called “188 Trading Post”
@@Forerunner2 Doc Mitchell leitmotif
K Chung I didn’t know if I should call it his leitmotif since the theme plays in so many different tracks across the game. “Out of business” “I88 Trading Post” and “Rubble of the forgotten” are the ones I remember but I think there’s more. Either way his leitmotif is why I love the ost for Vegas, it’s sad as fuck
Really is sound it like fallout nv from the beginning to me ?
One of the first big mods for FO4:NV will be something that outright replaces the character creator and all of the NPCs created with said, mark my words. It is literally impossible to make a male character in FO4's engine that doesn't look like Nate wearing a bad disguise, and that is super freaking annoying. I mean, look at these guys: i.imgur.com/NYFmUBq.jpg That's supposed to be a diverse set of mugs, yet they're all blood-related to Nate. They look like him, and they look like each other. Doc Mitchell in FO4:NV? He's Nate with a mustache and gray hair. When FO4:NV nears readiness, somebody, I guarantee, will finally realize this is a problem and find a way to fix it. Eliminating the base character textures would be a huge start; the baked-in details on those face textures are a big part of why everyone looks like clones of one another and why it's impossible to make a character who looks younger than late-30s.
Holy shit it’s a perfect blend of New Vegas’ melody with 4’s style plus some added oomph that’s cool.
This theme was a total blast, but whe 1:33 came...
*AVE, AMICUS, TRUE TO CAESAR*
"Degenerates like you belong on a cross."
"Retribution!"
“We will see who is laughing when you are nailed to the walls of hoover damn facing west so that you may watch your world burn”

{D_ Dogg} no.... just no XD
0:20 tostikaas, love how you incorporated the fallout motif into your theme. about the piece - very adventurous, reminded me of the Elfman's Spider-Man scores. Nice job! :)
thanks man :)
as someone with over 2000 hrs on new vegas, i approve of this masterpiece

@@lizcote4760 honestly, that's *really* short for a 10 year old game
same my guy close to 3000 now that I finally decided to mod my game, fallout new Vegas is a fucking masterpiece and I still find something new all the time
As someone with an equal amount of hours, I don't. I really don't.
This theme song has no business being this good
I definitely like what your going for alot, i do feel it could be a little slower as it takes away from the more depressing atmospheric sound with the strings of the original track.
I guess it just depends on your taste, its definitely a refresh which is exactly what it should be.
its great but personally i like it at .75 speed
I'd say closer to 85-90% speed. The tempo is ALMOST there to really get the feeling of the combination, it just goes a little too fast near the crechendo.
Agreed. Seems more action oriented now. I'd rather they got that nostalgia feel back. Amazing nonetheless.
New Vegas' was always pretty fast, though. Especially after the crescendo.
@@Mega-Brick The feel here is much more fast paced, more action/thriller instead of that mix of action and sad / nostalgic.
Holy moly this is perfect, kinda reminds me of Doc Mitchell's Theme
coming back 4 years later to relive this awesome tune
As the Burned man once said, “You have done gods work today!” All that needs to be done now is the New Vegas credits theme but remastered on this amazing scale you know what I could see this being the theme for a fallout TV series no joke
*_Wecan'texpectGodtodoallthework_*
@Communist Blin _Ah, yes_
You're doing Gods work my friend.
We can't expect God to do all the work.
@@totmgsrockxd9900 I don't enjoy killing, but when done righteously, it's just a chore, like any other.
That touch of Caesar towards the end is a stroke of genius.
That 1 dislike is from Todd Howard
That's what I was going to comment lol xd
He got his cover busted, so he retracted hahahaha
Yeah and the other is from Pete Hines
Without him we wouldn't have a modding platforms and community like this, so how about you show a little respect for the developer, Gamers™?
It from me heckler
It’s a perfect blend of the fallout 4 and the new Vegas themes with a hint of fallout 3’s theme. Also the legions theme at the end was the icing on the cake
I feel like 1:17 could’ve been a few seconds longer and it could’ve sound more intense as it went on
Overall this ost is amazing and I downloaded the mod for fo4
Sci I’m talking about the f4NV theme song that replaces the fo4 main menu music 😐
Love that you managed to create something new while still sticking to the basic melody that every modern Fallout game's theme has. Awesome work.
1:22 my favorite part about the original NV menu music, glad you kept that part in.
The number one thing I’ve been waiting for since this project has released. It’s amazing
Absolutely love this. Drove away any worries I once had about the whole music copyright issue. 2278 can’t come fast enough
Yeah, this captures the Legion NCR battle perfect.
This does Fallout: New Vegas soooooo much justice. Really hope somebody big notices you, cause this is quality right here!!!!!
What's beautiful is this could pass as a genuine "Fallout" style for the New Vegas theme. The New Vegas theme, while having a *slightly* similar melody, lacks the iconic Fallout 3/4 riff that the game has been associated with. This theme adds that, as well as doc Mitchell's theme, to create my favorite rendition of the New Vegas theme.
Still, would love to hear a version without the very aggressive strings in the back of the main melody. I wonder how that would sound.
I really like the subtle Doc Mitchell theme within the beginning part of the track
can't wait for someone to use this for a menu music replacer mod for Fallout New Vegas

You won't have to.

God damn this is such a masterpiece. I can finally thank the algorithm for showing me this.
at first, I thought "well this is odd for a fallout theme" then when it got to 30 secs in I fucking got goosebumps. way to go dude you are doing great.
OMG SO INCREDIBLE
I love it so much. Strangely enough it is an extremely motivating song. Makes me want to get shit done.
I like how its basically a mashup of doc mitchels house, fallout 3s theme fallout new vegas’ theme, the ncr theme and the legions theme all in one
Vegas will return
Fallout 4 new Vegas theme
*Everyone loved that*
This sounds like the original New Vegas theme on fucking steroids
Love it
dude this track is incredible, holy shit! the bit where fallout 3 kicks in, and then the nv crescendo, and then the legion finishes that shit off... fuck I got goosebumps.
this would go so damn hard for an intro of a fallout movie / series, holy damn
This mod will be beautiful n all of us who wants a challenge the wisdom of our game knowledge of both Fallout New Vegas n 4, this will be glorious to play in n all of us will be proud to have this mod installed n go beyond to our hearts n souls to feel better, n to feel the ways n the power of the wastelands can make us to be, free from our own chains n follow the path we must take n go there as we pleased, so thx man for making this soundtrack for us to feel the power n effort to make this beautiful soundtrack to give us strength, but until that day can come, we'll wait as the bombs will always come at it's own time
💥🔥🔥😁🔥🔥💥
What strikes me the most was the beginning. The beat of the drums and the downbeats of the strings and the piano melody from the Doc Mitchell theme...feels like a heartbeat that keeps going against the desperation and desolation of the dry Mojave wasteland. That and the banjo strings and saloon piano brings home the Western feel that made me fall in love with Fallout New Vegas. Gets me every time.
Great work!
The love and care made and given for this game is undeniable. Never have I ever heard of a better theme song for a New Vegas remake.
I think it could be a bit slower around the crescendo, I think the depressing/nostalgic feel of the original isn't as present. Overall still a great track tho
This made my falloutnv.exe not responding
this is so extremely epic and the best fallout theme out there
Great work! Really peaks my nostalgia.
This was ported to Console fallout to change the intro music. Absolutely amazing.
Ikr dude, this theme has no business being that fire
I have been listening to this on repeat for about 10 times now, and I am absolutely in love with this.
It's different, sure... but it still feels like something you would hear in Fallout: New Vegas. Tostikaas, you magnificent bastard! (You've earned yourself a like! This is some amazing work you've done here.)
Yeah, I love how this is like a perfect blend of FNV and FO4's music
Your work is just perfect, it captures the feeling and vibes of the old theme while being new and interesting.
the courier approves of this theme
This should be in the Second Battle of Hoover Dam
That would make it a legendary last swan song to the game!
Bro this is too Fallout! Whoever made this, make more like it!
Man.... I think Inon Zur would be proud (and a little envious) of this song....
I wouldn't go that far. It'sfine, but nowhere near as good as the original New Vegas theme. It's not even close.
@@marcuscain1377 the original is good, but this one does its job of homage and modernization very well.... it's very good, and I've already favorited it in my mods when the F4NV arrives, and I put it as my phone's ringtone
@@MrStarway97 Hard disagree.
@@marcuscain1377 OK
Okay fuck. I'm ridiculously attached to the menu theme for New Vegas and thought it couldn't be replaced but man this has me feeling things I have never felt before. I was skeptical but then I gave this a listen and I legitimately have chills. I am so fucking here for this mod.
This soundtrack is brilliant, even more so than the original. It sticks to the Fallout melody we can all recognize, it sounds like every Fallout into one but in a very New Vegas way, it hypes things up immensly, and it has every single faction in it, the Courier is there, the NCR and their heroism is there and Caesar and the end just made me want to fucking cry. Like most people here, I was a little skeptical about it but you know... when the bullet goes off this soundtrack gives you fucking chills. No words can express how much fan service this is. As a Fallout vet, I can't wait to spend an entire hour starring at the main menu listening to this.
This is the best thing I heard in months. I got goosebumps all over my body. I really can´t wait for the release I´m so god damn hyped for this
A fallout new vegas created in the modern engine which fallout 4 was created in and you manage to keep the theme as fallout new vegas as possible and add the best parts about the fallout 4 ost.
I love modders.
You people are wizards who bestow gifts upon us mere mortals.
Never heard fallout theme good like this one, amazing work.
It feels very authentic
I can just imagine multiple iconic parts of each of that games factions doing badass poses as i hear this track.
THIS IS SO HYPE!! 10/10 would pay $100 a year for
You're giving me an eargasm my guy. Well done.
First few seconds:is this resident evil fallout edition!?!
Rest of the vid:hell yeah my jam!!!!!
holy jesus was that gorgeous
This feels like many New Vegas's best themes mixed into one in a modern Fallout 4 Style of sound
Bugs, Glitches, CTDs, Stupid mainquests. Shoddycast used to tell me stories about the old days, A time of peace, when Obsidian kept balance between the bugs, glitches, character devolpment and story. But that all changed when the Todd attacked. Only Obsidian mastered all four elements of a fallout game, Only they could stop the EA practices. But when the world needed Obsidian most, they were exiled. 10 years have passed and Bethesda is nearing victory in the war. One month ago, Fallout The Frontier failed in the fight against Todd, Horribly, leaving only a small tribe, Some people believe Fallout is a dead IP and the cycle will continue, but I haven't lost hope, I believe that somehow this ragtag tribe of modders will save fallout.
This theme reminded me of avatar and I know the words by heart :p
It sounds halfway between the fallout 3 and new vegas theme
What a beautiful combination
feels more like fallout:NV mixed with fallout 4
I'm smiling because this is amazing and I'm crying because I know my PC will set itself on fire if I try to run it.
I honestly didn't like this at first but damn it grew on me fast! Well done
The first time I played NV was with this jewel. Everytime I remember NV, my head plays this. Excellent.
Beautiful!
This sounds legit like a New Vegas 2 theme

i love it! its like a mix between FO3 and FNV main themes with a little FO4 ost vibe.
Dr 'Chocolates' Chakwas
Just watched the new TV show. Man I'm so missing your mod!
Here is what I understood..
Out of all Fallout canon protagonists..
The Courier is the strongest of all..
Not even Nate the sole survivor, Lone Wanderer, Chosen One, Vault Dweller can compare.. Ok maybe the Vault Dweller can still can but let us be honest..at this point the Courier is OP AS FUCK
way to capture the spirit of the game. this sounds like what a sequel would have. well done

Holy hell, this sounds amazing! Can't wait for F4NV
I love how it mixes different tunes you hear in game together, from doc Mitchell, through FO3 and to the Legion; great work.
Oh my god. This is so good.
I’m too young to actually have food follow new Vegas when it was new but I do enjoy you seeing older games that have aged but still are great games to be updated with the graphics because I love being able to play a game that you know doesn’t have the best graphics that now I can see it enjoy the story and have a good graphics with it I’m happy that this is happening thank you for making this

If The Courier met The Sole Survivor, that would be an interesting story.
This is literally so amazing could listen to this for hours
Perfect man, perfect
I’m picturing a fallout story game… something like Fallout: Ranger.
There are so many musical motifs I recognize from different songs throughout NV. Awesome stuff
Wooow this is amazing as heck!
I love that incorporation of the Legion's leitmotif toward the end, great work!
The tempo change is so creative man, it's brilliant
I love how they timed the music with the cinematic to have the muzzle fire at the same time as the music gets epic
I love that the score starts off simple but then starts getting intense further in until the main part kicks in, it almost reminds me of the main story, it starts off as a single man going out to find his revenge, and unwittingly ending up a key factor in the fate of an entire region, deciding the outcome of an inevitable battle. I can almost picture the opening's slight intensity to even symbolize the gunshot that kicks this entire adventure off.
While the original theme sounded foreboding and filled with intrigue, this "remastered" version sounds more triumphant, which I think is perfectly fitting. It carries many of the elements of the original theme, but it definitely has more of a sense of "New Vegas is back, baby!" -- which is very deserving and fits the entire mood of this mod project. A celebration of what was and what will be.
