Watching this makes me realize that gymnastic is probably the most physical intense sport. These champions endure so much pain to their bodies that they become numb by it. They practice for years for a slot in the Olympic. By 22, they are considered old and force to retire. Then what? Companies stop going after them for sponsorship. Then all the old injuries start to creep up like arthritis. Imagine those gymnasts who did not even make it to the elite status. Gives me a whole new respect for gymnasts.
Yes that’s true. I’m a 10 year old and level 6 gymnast. I’m turning 11 in 2 days though. Level 6 isn’t easy you do lots of work, but gymnastics is my sport, I love it.
I loved this video. Really shows that everyone has their great moments and their bad moments. Not everyone is perfect and I feel like in society today we need to realize that
Yes I am a gymnast my self I am only twelve. And I already practice 11 hours a week I’ve been hurt and I cry a lot at practice it hurts to make a mistake to split the beam to land on your neck it hurts to hyperextend your knee it hurts after practice I feel stressed and in pain but there is no stopping because gymnastics is not a choice to skip conditioning or skip floor or vault Orr beam or bars sometimes we say we feel sick to get out of doing that stuff we work hard to get to the spot we’re we are
…I used to go to brestyans,(the gym I’m pretty sure they’re in in the video) the same gym ally raisman is from, and she used to be there. When she had just finished her first Olympics there were a bunch of people who suddenly wanted to go there, but since there were so many people it became overcrowded. My team had around 30 kids and only one coach at one point. The owner of the gym also wouldn’t use heating or air conditioning to cut down on costs, so it was insanely hot in the summer and freezing cold in the winter(once a pipe froze flooding the gym). So in conclusion, seeing these gymnasts is great, but there can definitely be downfalls that come with it.
This is a really good video. I especially liked how you showed all the times that they have fallen during competitions. It shows the reality that they are not perfect as we all seem to think we are.
Yes, that it wasn’t about luck or politics or anything like that. They worked hard even when it was boring and repetitive. They got out and competed, took their licks, and got back in the gym to do better next time.
Wow! All Olympic sports require intense training and preparing but gymnastics has to be the hardest and most intense. These young ladies are amazing!!!
@Arabella Shelton I saw a recent interview where she said she may skip to continue fighting sexual abuse. No matter what she chooses, she is an inspiration in so many ways.
Laurie is trying to get back into it but I don’t think she will make it, she is really out of it for the olympics. Simone is one of those people that I feel like will also step back. She has been in competitions a lot. Madison kocian is now in UCLA so she is competing at the NCAA level which I feel like is a great step for her to take. Aly I have no clue about and gabby I think is also stepping back.
This video is absolutely incredible. You really don’t see these awful moments of hard work on t.v. It really shows that being a champion isn’t easy, you’ve got to work HARD!
This video drives home the point that people aren't just born amazing athletes, it takes extreme pain, hours of commitment, disappointment, failure, and sacrifice. And even those who put all their years into a sport don't always get to the top.
This is such a great video, it has a lot of meaning and it says that nothing comes easy in life. "When we fall we have no other choice but to pick ourselves up and try again and again".
These girls work so hard i want to be one of them one day they have so much passion for Gymnastics even when they have fallen they always get up i love them soooo much
Sofia the gymnast I did too. I'm not even sure about the brand or anything because I just sat my phone down and decided to use those valuable seconds to tend to a game I'm playing on my tablet. 😂😂😂
This is a really good video. I like how they included clips of them falling and having issues on the apparatuses. It is a testament to how hard these amazing athletes work to overcome mistakes and to ultimately become the best team in the world! Dreams don't get achieved unless hardships drive them forward!
I love how they show them strength training as well as gymnastics. Then, they show all their falls and mishaps which is normally the best way to get on the road to success! Go team USA!! Simone lead the way! 💕
I do gymnastics and i used to not have any faith or confidence in myself but this video is tought me not to give up and made me gain more confidence that I never really had and told me to work harder to get where I want to be.
Gabby was the one who inspired me to do gymnastics I started doing gym 8 months ago and i m already doing round off back handsprings I’m so happy that the final five are still as sting and they were in the Olympics
right? even though Simone Biles, the most decorated gymnast in history is on this team, and it is filled with talent the fierce five were more exciting too watch, and the bond between them felt so genuine. The team spirit of the final five seemed more forced and fabricated. nevertheless, i love every single gymnast in this team
I feel the same way. The London Olympics were much more exciting than the Rio ones in terms of competition. Rio was freaking boring, even with Simone there. The Fierce Five were legendary.
Its only at the moments when you feel like you need to be the best that you fail, and at the times when you realised you gave it your all and you might be the best but you are your own best you are the best that YOU can be and don't let anyone change that.
Awesome video! Look how hard these girls work, and the injuries...this is way harder than people think. They might make it look "easy" but it's far from it. Especially the uneven bars, damn the strength you need to have. Wow, just wow. Respect to all gymnasts.
I am so happy they won they deserve it they had been training so well good job and the video is amazing as well it shows that no one is always perfect ty for the vid
I really admire how hard they're training to success with gymnastics at their home gyms and then doing really great or excellent on their routines at gymnastic competitions or Olympic gymnastic competitions.
I feel like Aly was robbed at the 2012 AA. Aliya won third by the smallest tie breaker. Although I am a fan of Aliya, Aly did deserve that medal, glad she won gold in the EF on Floor.
flexility just think about it this way, though:. had the tie breaker gone in her favor, she would've won bronze. we may not have had the pleasure of seeing her make an incredible comeback and subsequent silver medal win in Rio. remember her saying, "5th time's a charm?" after floor in Rio? she wanted an AA medal so badly. I truly believe a bronze in London would've been 'enough' for her.
I love Aliya but Aly beat her on everything but bars and since that's an all around competition, the tie breaker was dumb AF. It should've been who was the best at most apparatus first.
I'm in gymnastics ,actually one of the tip ones and I fell twice on bars at competition and yeah I know it's really hard.but in gymnastics you can't give up if you realy want to do this.
The song and everything, is so inspiring because it makes you like workout songs that could be a workout song and it will help you go harder and faster and work harder a lot harder and just never give up guys remember never to give up and always do your dream
I am a 11 year old level 8 gymnast. I know the pain their bodies go through. I cry and feel horrible if I do not get a skill. For some reason I love it still.
This reminds me of the pain in vball training when we don't run for the ball and when we don't communicate or when the ball drops. We get punishments but ig it's worth it
This video was so inspiring it’s like right now I do gymnastics and it’s fun look we’re they got from fun and now I realize this could be me and it will be guys get ready to see me in the olympics 2024 here I come
You girls are amazing I'm a gymnast and one day I really hope my dream will come true which is going to the Olympics and meet all you guys , you guys are my idols you inspire me in gymnastics and you are the reason why I do it and I love it I love gymnastics
Wow. No wonder their bodies are so tight. Geez I should have taken up gymnastics. I didn't have to qualify for a single tournament once I got the body. 😃
At 39-41 seconds the girl doing the back tucks is Mykayla Skinner not Maddie Kocian. You can tell cause in the background you see the big desert lights sign. Maddie goes to WOGA.
here’s my lowkey heartbreaking gym story, i have done gymnastics my whole entire life, im 14 and have been doing this sport for 13 years. i had such a drive and passion for this sport, and worked so hard everyday. i had just finished level 5 and the summer working on level 6, backhandsprings on beam broke both my wrists. as many times as the healed, they broke again and again, both of them breaking a total of 3-4 times each. on top of that, my back was pulled and torn up. that was two years ago, and my list of injuries is: broken knee, broken wrists, broken ankles, broken toes, sprained ankles, broken fingers, osgood in my knees, hyperextended and torn elbow ligament, and a horrible black eye. but i work through that every day. because i don’t believe in failing, im doing the best i can because i want to be good. i’m doing it all for the 5 year old me flipping around on the carpet and doing split around the house. all for her.
Watching this makes me realize that gymnastic is probably the most physical intense sport. These champions endure so much pain to their bodies that they become numb by it. I have no words for this since I am a gymnast ♡
Yes, and basketball. I have to train a lot for the basketball season so ya have a good day😁
And ballet as someone who studies the art or ballet my worst fear is injury because that could be it.
It’s true the pains unbelievable thanks for showing the hard intense work and seeing the hardness
Not everyone is perfect and I feel like in society today we need to realize that
Thank you Q A L A X Y
q a l a x y yes you have very good words
Ya I just had a bad day in gymnastics and this makes me feel a lot better:) knowing that people much MUCH better than me also mess up
Falling is learning
-Simone Biles
Yes I am a gymnast my self I am only twelve. I wish i was one of those girls in the background who practice at the same time as them, its like dining with royalty
Ducks R Fun stop wishing and start doing
Ducks R Fun Et

The penguins Of life in those clips they were at the ranch, the (while martha was in charge) training facility for the national gymnastics team.
Eileen Margossian how? Not all of us are stars and able to go to the ranch. Anyway 600th like on her comment
This is a really good video. I especially liked how you showed all the times that they have fallen during competitions. It shows the reality that they are not perfect as we all seem to think we are.
Thank you very much :)
Yes, that it wasn’t about luck or politics or anything like that. They worked hard even when it was boring and repetitive. They got out and competed, took their licks, and got back in the gym to do better next time.
I’m so glad Simone is back. I hope Laurie will be back as well:)
E Long she won't she retired its sad ik
Dakota Harper that is sad, she's so young yet
Wait what happened
Jordyn 00 Laurie's retired at least for now. She's ok though:)
E Long why did she retire, like is there a reason
Wow! All Olympic sports require intense training and preparing but gymnastics has to be the hardest and most intense. These young ladies are amazing!!!
Their dedication is so inspiring.
I hope Simone and Laurie can make it again. I'm gonna be shocked if Aly is going a third time, but happy too.
@Arabella Shelton I saw a recent interview where she said she may skip to continue fighting sexual abuse. No matter what she chooses, she is an inspiration in so many ways.
Arabella Shelton She will probably be there as a commentator or something like that. I don’t know if she will compete, if she does, great for her.
Laurie is trying to get back into it but I don’t think she will make it, she is really out of it for the olympics. Simone is one of those people that I feel like will also step back. Aly I have no clue about and gabby I think is also stepping back.
Nicole Skorupsky well, she has more time to get ready now
Is it just me, or does “The Final Five” take on a whole new meaning now that Nassar is in prison?
That's super deep, never thought of it that way.
Why is she in jail
skinnypig74 No! It was because the Karolis retired
Yeonie T it’s a guy, Larry Nassar. Look it up
Darlene Henderon they didn’t quit because they wanted to be Olympic level gymnasts. I admire them
This video is absolutely incredible. You really don’t see these awful moments of hard work on t.v. It really shows that being a champion isn’t easy, you’ve got to work HARD!
All us gymnasts know that feeling when you land something at practice but in the competition you don’t
so true haha. Or when you can't get it on last practice but then at comp you do it perfectly and you're just like whaaaa?
@@sophiaavila8591 it's all about fear, nervousness, pressure and performing under that pressure.
This is everything
This video drives home the point that people aren't just born amazing athletes, it takes extreme pain, hours of commitment, disappointment, failure, and sacrifice. And even those who put all their years into a sport don't always get to the top.
These women are so strong. I wish them all the very best.
The work, dedication, the total effort put in. They are all winners I one way or another
I am leaving gymnastics, and i came to watch this video that served as motivation for me all these years to say bye.
This is such a great video, it has a lot of meaning and it says that nothing comes easy in life. "When we fall we have no other choice but to pick ourselves up and try again and again".
I feel like I should NEVER complain about ANYTHING !!!! these ladies worked hard ...they deserved EVERY medal they received....🏅
These girls work so hard i want to be one of them one day they have so much passion for Gymnastics even when they have fallen they always get up i love them soooo much
I love watching training videos. I think the under armour commercial was way cool
kras118 I got an ad about dog food before the vid😂
Sofia the gymnast I did too. I'm not even sure about the brand or anything because I just sat my phone down and decided to use those valuable seconds to tend to a game I'm playing on my tablet. 😂😂😂
Jessica Calhoon haha lol😂
This is a really good video. I like how they included clips of them falling and having issues on the apparatuses. It is a testament to how hard these amazing athletes work to overcome mistakes and to ultimately become the best team in the world! Dreams don't get achieved unless hardships drive them forward!
chills. literal chills.
WOW!!! MUCH RESPECT TO THESE LADIES !!! I need some of this determination and will. God bless you all
Great video! We always see the final product. But, rarely the training, the blood, sweat and tears that get them there. Good music. Good job!
I love how they show them strength training as well as gymnastics. Then, they show all their falls and mishaps which is normally the best way to get on the road to success! Go team USA!! Simone lead the way! 💕
I do gymnastics and i used to not have any faith or confidence in myself but this video is tought me not to give up and made me gain more confidence that I never really had and told me to work harder to get where I want to be.
i love this video, thanks for showing their mess ups bc its shows that even the best make mistakes but they dont give up and thats how they got there
These ladies are so strong and amazing ❤️
I think it’s just great where they are failing they didn’t just give up but they stood up and tried to stick or do what they needed to learn
this is definitely one of those videos i'm going to watch lots and lots of times!!!
afro deity bahaha yes i keep watching it
afro deity I have already done that😂
afro deity same
i know right
afro deity me too
Gabby was the one who inspired me to do gymnastics I started doing gym 8 months ago and i m already doing round off back handsprings I’m so happy that the final five are still as sting and they were in the Olympics
Props to all the Olympic Gymnasts out there
That's impressive. So talented, so trained, so superhuman.
I watch this a lot! So inspirational!!
I love the final five, but the fierce five will always be my favorite!!!
Amanda Maddox Agree. These don't compare, in my opinion.
right? even though Simone Biles, the most decorated gymnast in history is on this team, and it is filled with talent the fierce five were more exciting too watch, and the bond between them felt so genuine. The team spirit of the final five seemed more forced and fabricated. nevertheless, i love every single gymnast in this team
Yessss the fierce five! I could watch that Olympic Games over and over and over again!
I feel the same way. The London Olympics were much more exciting than the Rio ones in terms of competition. Rio was freaking boring, even with Simone there. The Fierce Five were legendary.
For me its The Magnificent Seven then the Fierce Five.
This video is so motivational and has so much power✊🏾✊🏾🤟🏾

Huge Respect for these awesome gymnasts
Awesome video! Look how hard these girls work, and the injuries...this is way harder than people think. They might make it look "easy" but it's far from it. Especially the uneven bars, damn the strength you need to have. Wow, just wow. Respect to all gymnasts.
I am so happy they won they deserve it they had been training so well good job and the video is amazing as well it shows that no one is always perfect ty for the vid
This is way of life, absolutely amazing is everybody who is doing it!
“The man I am today was something that I started for fun”
The man equals gymnastics..
I really admire how hard they're training to success with gymnastics at their home gyms and then doing really great or excellent on their routines at gymnastic competitions or Olympic gymnastic competitions.
My Mom sees theses beautiful suits! She has done it for 40 yrs and is now 78 yrs old and still doing it full-time!
Excellant video. I'm tired just watching. AMAZING GRACE
Je suis emerveillée ..tous ces sacrifices pour nous donner le bonheur de quelques secondes de figures magiques....vous êtes des guerieres waouh
My God what a talented girl! There strength is awesome.
I feel bad for the young lady who kept falling she seemed do discouraged, this is hard work and she is doing awesome
I quit competitive gymnastics because of issues with myself, 2 and a half years later my heart still is in love with the sport..
I feel like Aly was robbed at the 2012 AA. Aliya won third by the smallest tie breaker. Although I am a fan of Aliya, Aly did deserve that medal, glad she won gold in the EF on Floor.

Nah she did't, Aliya deserved it
At that particular meet that night Aliya deserved it though.
I love Aliya but Aly beat her on everything but bars and since that's an all around competition, the tie breaker was dumb AF. It should've been who was the best at most apparatus first.
how do the body and the mind withstand this torture
Probably will power. They have a dream and will do anything to achieve it.
It’s not that much of a torture when you become numb to the pain🙃
I never became numb to the pain, and it's like flying so is really joyous
As hard as they work they're in great shape and they are amazing
More entertaining than expected . Cool editing. Like the line in the song = Reality's made outta dreams .Like.
All that HARD WORK paid off at the end.👌🏿💯❗️
I dont know why i cried watching this
I'm in gymnastics ,actually one of the tip ones and I fell twice on bars at competition and yeah I know it's really hard.but in gymnastics you can't give up if you realy want to do this.
I look at this before training it maker me realise my problemes are way smaller.
It's so hard and sad to see The Final Five fall at a competition. P.S. I was crying when I saw all of them fall at the competitions
Great video ! Do someone know the name of the « rap » song ?🦋
That’s what I want to know too it’s inspiring xx
Just did 20 sit-ups and I am done for the month,
The song and everything, is so inspiring because it makes you like workout songs that could be a workout song and it will help you go harder and faster and work harder a lot harder and just never give up guys remember never to give up and always do your dream
I am a 11 year old level 8 gymnast. I know the pain their bodies go through. I cry and feel horrible if I do not get a skill. For some reason I love it still.
wanted to see Laurie so bad I met her and love her, but i understood she doesn't have a lot of footage of her training out
I met her to she's so nice
laurie just came out with a gymnast doll for barbie
Love and respect for USA Women’s Gymnastics. 💪🏻
1:07 one of my friend who is a Body builder don't have muscles like that lol
The Chasing Pop Hunter and I’ll bet he’s nowhere near as flexible
Montrosesister12 ya know it could b a she
It makes sense because you need to be a lot stronger than most people think to be a that level of gymnastics.
in bodybuilding you don't use your entire body in the whole range of motion so you don't build muscle the same, it's more limited
Bodybuilders are like kids trying to become like the superheroes gymnasts. They want to look strong but they can't be strong.
Essas meninas Mercem todas medalha de ouro parabéns vocês se esforça muito pra dar o melhor de vocês nas competições #Parabens
This reminds me of the pain in vball training when we don't run for the ball and when we don't communicate or when the ball drops. We get punishments but ig it's worth it
Keep up the great discipline keep going never stop never give up for nobody keep your dream alive nothing can stop you now
i know it feels awful when you fall during your performance, but they just have to remember they are the best in the whole world
Hard work and dedication exemplified!!!
wow beautiful strength, ain't seen no workout that top this shit.
Вот это человеческий сила!
This video was so inspiring it’s like right now I do gymnastics and it’s fun look we’re they got from fun and now I realize this could be me and it will be guys get ready to see me in the olympics 2024 here I come

This edit is amazing and the audio fits very well. One of my favorite videos by far. I’m definitely going to continue to come back to this video.

What these girls do is incredible!

I get what your saying I am a level 10 gymnast and it is so much pain but the pain is worth it
At 39-41 seconds the girl doing the back tucks is Mykayla Skinner not Maddie Kocian. You can tell cause in the background you see the big desert lights sign. Maddie goes to WOGA.
What is this song?? I can't find it anywhere and it's so good
I do gymnastics and I'm trying my best to be like them and man their amazing and I'm trying my best to get better :)
I hope all of yoir pursue your dreams and become rich and blessed by God's love
This really helps me because my 1st meet of the season is Saturday
I look up to them they're awesome
here’s my lowkey heartbreaking gym story, i have done gymnastics my whole entire life, im 14 and have been doing this sport for 13 years. i had such a drive and passion for this sport, and worked so hard everyday. i had just finished level 5 and the summer working on level 6, backhandsprings on beam broke both my wrists. as many times as the healed, they broke again and again, both of them breaking a total of 3-4 times each. on top of that, my back was pulled and torn up. that was two years ago, and my list of injuries is: broken knee, broken wrists, broken ankles, broken toes, sprained ankles, broken fingers, osgood in my knees, hyperextended and torn elbow ligament, and a horrible black eye. but i work through that every day. because i don’t believe in failing, im doing the best i can because i want to be good. i’m doing it all for the 5 year old me flipping around on the carpet and doing split around the house. all for her.
I have stay out of my gym because of my dizziness and it’s been a week and im DYING 😭😭😭😭
They are so good I wish I could be like them cause they are the best
All of them are perfect.
I loved ally’s old coach he was a great guy
Great video!
Can someone just tell me why half of the video was Gabby Douglas's ans Aly Raisman's fails
hard work is necessary in order to achieve greatness ❤️
When you give up is you is when you find our is what you're worth.
