So many great American women athletes. It’s very cool and much appreciated to see two buff dudes having that kind of respect for a woman’s athleticism and workout. 😊
I have a new found appreciation for how difficult an Olympic athlete's workout routine can be. Good job buff dudes! Here's my videogame suggestion: when you start off in valheim you have to gather wood without tools. This means punching trees with your bare hands. Can the buff dudes cut down a tree by punching it?!
You know most gymnast do this workout. I was a gymnast for 15 years. Very elite level. Those press handstand that she’s doing where she’s straddling the bar and then presses up to a handstand strengthens your shoulders. Well, and your core strengthens everything actually. But your shoulders especially. We need strong shoulders. I was jealous 30 years ago. I was nowhere near Simones difficulty. The skill level has increased immensely since then. But for my time I was rather good.
Love the idea of a video game stream, but in true Buff Dude fashion, Video game inspired workouts. Base a workout on something the video game character does or how they look. Kratos, Nathan Drake, Any of the Street Fighter characters, etc
I entered a martial arts tournament once and was the only 30 yr old to show up so I won 1st place, I didn’t parade around like I accomplished something. But if you don’t try and show up, you ll surely accomplish nothing.
That’s a lot better than I could do! Also, now I know an exercise I can try with my yoga block. I bought it a few years ago but hadn’t gotten around to figuring what to do with it.
First of all, I came across this video randomly, but I want to say hi to Brandon since we used to work together here in Los Angeles. I hope all is well, brother! I adore Simone & appreciate all that she’s done in our sport & for our sport as a terrific representative & role model for so many. Thank you, Simone! As a former elite gymnast, we do a ton of conditioning that is unusual for other sports since gymnastics (especially men’s gymnastics) requires so many different movements from other sport, in multiple planes, & requires support of your full body mass on your upper body. We always are taught to do these skills with our legs straight because that’s required in our routine, & “perfect practice makes perfect.” As was mentioned above, bending knees shortens the length of the lever & completely reduces the resistance & difficulty of the movement. Even the basic L sit hold on parallel bars is with legs straight & hips pressed forward between the hands vs hips behind the hands. One of the biggest challenges in the sport is keeping up strength & flexibility while constantly upgrading your routines & skills all while keeping injury free & minimizing fear of injury while doing these skills. The new equipment & better training environments are leaps & bounds ahead of where we were in the late 1970s when I first started the sport as a 4 year old. It’s amazing! Fun video. Keep up the good work, guys!
These guys set high standards for themselves. Obviously, they’re in great shape. Their attempts at Simone’s workout is another testament to what an amazing athlete she is.
This really makes you appreciate Simone’s strength. In all her exercises her feet don’t touch the ground during reps… that much harder boys. Great video.

I liked that you tried some of Simone's workout. It looks very challenging. You guys made a great attempt and made it entertaining and fun to watch. There's one thing I'm going to call you out on. In the beginning of the video, you guys described Simone as being "Extremely dexterous, extremely agile and flexible," Which is all very true, but it's a very typical thing that many people say about a gymnast. How about saying Simone is strong, She is very strong too! After each of the exercises you did, you didn't mention the strength it takes to do them. And you didn't use the word at all in reference to Simone. It's ok for a man to say that a woman is strong.
I don't know if you have tried ballet? I hear it's killer too! My first time watching. Great fun! And I don't have to even try to keep up cuz I'm 77, wobbling from a broken leg! I just get a good laugh!! Keep rockin'.
As much as I enjoy watching Simone (immensely) the clips showing her doing the exercises was sufficient. The emphasis was on THEIR attempts, not her proficiency. Very cool video. Loved the self depreciating humor and fun the had trying👍🏻
This is SO GOOD!! When I saw you two start to climb the rope, then I saw the word FAILURE flash across the screen....LMBO🤣🤣🤣...By the time you got to the 2nd core workout, I was EXHAUSTED😂😂😂😂...."a LAZY L" 🤣🤣 (of course you both look great)

thoroughly impressed you guys managed as well as you did 🤣simone's dedication to her craft is beyond inspiring and gymnast pilates is no joke lol i'm glad she inspired you guys to try her workouts. she's tiny but mighty!
I subbed! I was a gymnast from the age of 5 to 17 yrs old and cracked up at the ( We Died) it was my entire life working out (at age 5 my first badge I earned was after doing 75 sit-ups in 2 1/2 mins)lol and I enjoyed y'all very much. I'm 55 yrs old now still fit and y'all thank you for bringing me joy! Plano, TX
You guys got my admiration and lots of laughs so this nearly 70s woman (who works out with a great buff trainer) subscribed! Did you do Venus or Serena or Megan Rapinoe? So many great American women athletes. It’s very cool and much appreciated to see two buff dudes having that kind of respect for a woman’s athleticism and workout. 😊
I have a new found appreciation for how difficult an Olympic athlete's workout routine can be. Good job buff dudes!
Here's my videogame suggestion: when you start off in valheim you have to gather wood without tools. This means punching trees with your bare hands. Can the buff dudes cut down a tree by punching it?!
Ouch!
It was definitely interesting watching these guys do the workout since I was basically doing all those when I was in Level 5 age 10, lol.
I am dead. Just watching is more skill than I have. Simone Biles is the GOAT
Love the idea of a video game stream, but in true Buff Dude fashion, Video game inspired workouts. Base a workout on something the video game character does or how they look. Kratos, Nathan Drake, Any of the Street Fighter characters, etc
Contra 24/7 or nothing
Brandon was actually Kratos in a live action commercial for God of War Ascension
He's onto something there.... Gaming eh,.... I think they have a blast with VR exercising stuff....
You guys did way better than I thought you would. Good job!
Great video , you guys should do a series about workouts of Olympic athletes. Similar to what you collaborated with another channel a while back
I entered a martial arts tournament once and was the only 30 yr old to show up so I won 1st place, I didn’t parade around like I accomplished something. But if you don’t try and show up, you ll surely accomplish nothing.
🧢🧢🧢🧢
Definitely gives me a whole new appreciation for the amazing gymnasts, especially Simone.
I need this motivation to get back in the gym
That’s a lot better than I could do! Also, now I know an exercise I can try with my yoga block. I bought it a few years ago but hadn’t gotten around to figuring what to do with it.
You can increase the difficulty of your squats and lunges with them.
This was so hilarious. And so respectful. Good job guys!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Simone is the GOAT!!!
And this is why you don't see many gymnasts over 1.75m. Physics.
Why? I also noticed male gymnast are short?
@@DsaherGuylow center of gravity
Same thing with highly competitive figure skaters. Way harder to do those fast rotations and jumps when you are larger.
Most body builders too.
@@elizabethr.9359 what does that even mean? Dumb it down for me lol
You guys are simply the best. I can't wait for the fourth edition of your 12 week program.
We always are taught to do these skills with our legs straight because that’s required in our routine, & “perfect practice makes perfect.”
As was mentioned above, bending knees shortens the length of the lever & completely reduces the resistance & difficulty of the movement.
I love this You guys should send this to Simone! She'd get a kick out of it! BTW - I give you two a giant A for effort!
You two gentleman are absolutely adorable🤗🥱🇺🇸…uncontrollable laughter🇺🇸..you two make working out a hoot!
These guys set high standards for themselves. Obviously, they’re in great shape. Their attempts at Simone’s workout is another testament to what an amazing athlete she is.
You two are hilarious, but sincere. Interesting channel!
USAIN BOLT!!!!!!!
YALL GOTTA DO THE GREATEST SPRINTER OF ALL TIME WORKOUT NEXT - LET'S GET IT!!!!
Let's see you guys to a CrossFit hero WOD
'A tool of death' 😂 😂 😂
This really makes you appreciate Simone’s strength. In all her exercises her feet don’t touch the ground during reps… that much harder boys. Great video.
You guys should make a vide about bjj workout, it's an excellent cardio and an awesome therapy for me, I'm from Brazil and follow you since 2015, this is my favorite channel, thank you buff dudes!
I did strengthen my core: I laughed myself silly throughout the video. Kudos to the guys who can laugh at themselves while still looking awesome!
She’s phenomenal ❤
I liked that you tried some of Simone's workout. It looks very challenging. You guys made a great attempt and made it entertaining and fun to watch.
There's one thing I'm going to call you out on. In the beginning of the video, you guys described Simone as being
"Extremely dexterous, extremely agile and flexible,"
Which is all very true, but it's a very typical thing that many people say about a gymnast.
How about saying Simone is strong, She is very strong too!
After each of the exercises you did, you didn't mention the strength it takes to do them. And you didn't use the word at all in reference to Simone.
It's ok for a man to say that a woman is strong.
I'm glad you had a fun time filming this, it was fun to watch you give it a shot, good job!
You did really well on the “ laughing a lot:exercise : 😊😊
Simone needs to see this!
The foam wasn’t between her feet, it was between her calves. That way she can keep her legs straight.
In all those exercises, gymnasts must keep their knees straight unless it is in a tuck position.
I don't know if you have tried ballet? I hear it's killer too! My first time watching. Great fun! And I don't have to even try to keep up cuz I'm 77, wobbling from a broken leg! I just get a good laugh!! Keep rockin'.
Bit of a massive clickbait thumbnail there. Thought you'd actually have her on thr video haha
She's a little busy right now
As much as I enjoy watching Simone (immensely) the clips showing her doing the exercises was sufficient. The emphasis was on THEIR attempts, not her proficiency. Very cool video. Loved the self depreciating humor and fun the had trying👍🏻
Omgg, they are hilarious 😂 I already knew they wasn't gonna even scratch the surface of her daily workout routine😂😂😂😂😂 They get an E for effort❤❤❤❤❤
Really cool content! I really enjoy watching this video. very inspiring & entertaining
And Simone does each exercise so effortlessly
Seriously guys, if you wanna do a Q&A while you're casually gaming and eating pretzels... I'm all down for it! XD
How about a collab with Nile Wilson and you can try men’s gymnast exercises. I think doing Katie Ledecky’s training routine would be amusing.
well i'm adding deadman's planks to my workout now, thanks for that!
This is SO GOOD!! When I saw you two start to climb the rope, then I saw the word FAILURE flash across the screen....LMBO🤣🤣🤣...By the time you got to the 2nd core workout, I was EXHAUSTED😂😂😂😂...."a LAZY L" 🤣🤣 (of course you both look great)
A Buff Dude Weekend with Hudson and Brandon yeeeeaaahhh!!! 💪💪
‘A’ for effort! And this is why she’s the best 😂❤
Lol simone makes it look effortless too!
She’s a phenomenal person. 🇺🇸
LOL this is absolutely hilarious!! Great job guys!!
Very entertaining😄. I have absolutely no doubt they know all about the difference in the center of gravity, areas of strength between men and women, etc (as does Simone). They set out to make an entertaining and respectful video and they succeeded on spades😀.
Simone is magic. No one is better.
Really appreciate the respect you give her.
I used to do a tonne of SOME of these for two hours as our warm up when going into a full day of ballet in concert season ;) was my fave part of the day for sure. Your body craves it.
Thise v-ups with the foam blocks... every time you bend your knees you're making it easier.
You guys are so much fun😂❤
Simone is dynamite, unique paggage of power and talent in little body. Greetings from Finland🇫🇮
