This sounds fantastic. I keep bouncing between getting IR-X or IR-D. As soon as I think I have my mind made up someone puts out a killer new demo like this. 😂🤘
@@lostinpa-dadenduro7555 thank you! I think it really just depends on your needs. The IR-X has a bit more gain, so if you need something a bit more modern sounding, that might be your best bet. Also, don't forget about the IR-J that's based on Jake E Lee's signature amp. I REALLY want that one.
If you play with just a guitar and amp then each is one half your sound. Both items are relatively pricey. With just one in comparison cheap pedal, that pedal becomes one third your sound. It is what makes pedal amazing. In short it means we all can make a major change in our sound at a totally affordable price. I would love to see more pedals on the show.
That IR sounds pretty damn good, even simply coming out of this iPad I’m on atm 🤙 I have 4 amps, 3 tube amps and a Spark anyhow one is a Friedman Dirty Shirley and it sounds really good. Mine is going into an older 2 x 12 Tone Tubby cab and it’s my go to when I am looking for a more crunch sound. Thanks for sharing 🤙
@@TommySG1 I was completely blown away with how awesome this pedal sounded. I've got a wall full of amps, and this pedal holds its own against any of them.
Hi, this is a great pedal and the best sound I've ever had in a pedalboard format. I use it with an HX One with effects in front of and after the Friedman and then a GFI Specular-tempus, just three pedals and I have the best sound I've ever had. By the way, I also have a Quad Cortex and I like it, but the Friedman is much more real, direct and easy to use.
It's absolutely the real deal. And it's nice to hear from someone who uses both this pedal and a Quad Cortex, and good to know that the IR-D really holds up against it.

The tones you got out of that thing sound great!
@@ethanmeadows5438 dude, it's SO easy to get good tones with that thing. It's a FANTASTIC pedal.

True, pedals are definitely (for the most part) a lot cheaper than guitars and amps.
