It's a nice car and well appointed. The engine is tried and true even if it isn't a tire burner. This and the Camry, as well as similar cars will always be in competition. There will always be a market for all of them. 🥰
I love my 2022 midnight edition. This was my 1st winter with it. I purchased the car last summer and found the power plant average, but when we had a ton of snow the all wheel drive greatly surpassed my expectations. It's almost as if the car had more balls because the awd would kick in. All in all, I am happy to have my 2022 and wouldn't change it for the 2023 at 8% finance rate vs the 2.8% on my current 2022. Keep rocking the great videos
I'm glad to hear that the AWD in the Altima works well because I need to have AWD in my next vehicle but I definitely do not want to get a crossover. I prefer sedans and I'm glad to know that the Altima is available with AWD. I live in a city where streets are plowed whenever there's snow; so I think I should be fine with the Nissan Altima SR Premium with AWD. I will definitely check it out.
This what I had been waiting for going back to loving the Altima again as much with the Maxima and Pathfinder. Love the new refreshed face-lift wish taillights were more LED than original housing that was used on 2019-22. It's a beautiful car saw the same one couple days in white just like this one in video, Nissan really getting back to business now all the lineups are beginning to look more updated.
I have a Nissan Altima S 2020. She is gorgeous except for lacking some specs unlike the other editions. I will go for the SR 2023 once my pockets get filled 😅.
Too bad Nissan stuck with the incandescent taillights. Look up the Altima for the Chinese market and the LED taillights take the look to a whole new level. At least give them to the higher trims. Overall a great refresh. I still miss the SE-R models from the mid 2000's.
They did a nice job, although may still prefer the Mazda 6 over it as Mazda still offers more features like, heads up displays, turbo engines options amd other stuff. With this new look of the SR it may be worth considering as another option. Nice job as always presenting Christhoper.
A ilnissan sales man told me they are discontinuing the altima in 2025 ?? I was gonna buy one despite the bad reviews but I think I will get a 2023 mazda 3 sedan carbon
There is one thing wrong you got in the video that is not the SR premium package, the SR premium package has dual climate control, adaptive cruise control and VC turbo this SR is the lowest trim SR model
@@carsunlocked that’s right I totally forgot that Canadá will not be getting the SR VC turbo premium package that is probably why I was confused when you said that but none the less great review man!
They do not have the same power plant. There is also an SR VC-Turbo. you should have reviewed that instead and there is no more platinum model. The SR VC turbo is the top trim level. You gotta do your research bro and present better
I really wish Nissan would ditch that crappy CVT. Otherwise I would consider it. A CVT is a deal breaker for me. My old Sentra had a CVT and felt like it was going to break every time I accelerated. Hated that car.
OKAY OKAY! Great review! I love the Nissan Altimas! But what are your thoughts on the Z??? You should check out Nismo NICK he did a review on the Z! ruclips.net/video/aCLdGZpOu1E/видео.html

they certainly did I hope they will continue to produce the altima for a long time
@@carsunlocked Me too
I got the 22 platinum. No LED taillights is keeeeeeeeling me man! Everyday gotta stress over it, lol. It's s lease, so can't go aftermarket
Just bought one and love it.
glad to hear congrats
Two weeks ago I traded my 11 year old Altima 2.5 S for the Altima SR. I brought the gray sky pearl color one it's nice !
great choice

hey great input thanks for commenting
Good Video 💯 like the car
Glad you like it
Beautiful car but why no hybrid?for the price point I'd prefer to buy the Toyota camry hybrid.
Nissan has yet to bring hybrids to Canada
I can safely say this Altima wont be saving the 'midsize cars' segment. It excels at nothing really.
thanks for commenting

thanks so much for commenting I like the mazdas as well
Yea they're good cars, I've got the CX30 GT turbo, love it so much.
Nissan has a 2.0l turbo version of this Altima that is quicker than the Mazda 6 turbo.
Mazda quit making the 6 didn't they>
@@anthonycloy1157 Yeah sadly

i dont think thats the case here in canada?
Out sold the Rogue in the States in October.
For real??
@@carsunlocked Yes, just heard from Judy Wheeler VP of Nissan NA

Hey my friend i am referring to the Canadian models and trim packages there is no VC turbo here in Canada
No you need to do your research

sorry you feel that way. Nissan has come a long way with there CVTs 3
Nice altima but ill keep my maxima !!!
Great choice
Wait I thought the SR didn’t have backseat vents?
no it does not
@@carsunlocked Well that must be the VC turbo or SL but clearly it has SR badging
It seem like Nissan and Infiniti regressed so bad in luxury and styling. They use to do apple much to separate them selves now they just meh
they are coming back
nissan can fake people putting those sr badges Thinking people are gonna buy coz of the styling , change the engines nissan then call it SR
they are faking anyone they clearly disclose the features of the vehicle
You can get the SR with the 2.0 turbo...
OKAY OKAY! Great review! I love the Nissan Altimas! But what are your thoughts on the Z???

I tried to get one in my area, 2023 2.0t sr. They were selling it to me for 38k wtf
ouchhh
Decent car to lease wouldn't buy it, not as reliable in along run as Honda or Toyota
i have owned a altima for 9 years and have yet to have any problems
@@carsunlocked CVT transmission has been getting some bad rep, happy to hear u had good luck with yours
