I think the Altima is underrated. It is a nice looking car. 188hp is enough for average Joe. It's right there with the Accord. & No turbo troubles. The jaco trans from what I have heard are much better now days. That hood gap is a head scratcher, not a deal breaker. I hope they they sell well. I really don't care for SUVs/CUVs. Save the sedan's. I really enjoy your thorough reviews. Cramming 35 minutes of information into 15 makes me nervous they are talking so fast I feel rushed. 👍🏻
I’m glad you enjoy the videos. I agree, save the sedans. So much more fun to drive and I think they look better too.. Not too many American sedans left, which is crazy. Still a few foreign sedans which is nice. This is definitely good enough power wise for the average consumer. I however always like more power when I can get it!
I took my new car out today. I love the look , very sporty. The ride was smooth and handles great. Nissan Altima is my all time favorite car, This sure is a beauty, I love my Altima. SR,
I am an old guy and my wife eland I have a 17 year old daughter. She got rear ended in April in her 2022 Nissan Sentra. Due to various circumstances that I will not go into we traded the Sentra which held up well for a new 2023 Altima SR just like the one you reviewed including color. Great vehicle and a lot for the money. In 2020 I purchased a new 2020 Chevy Silverado RST Z71 with 5.3. At 10,500 it dropped lifter. Recently at 19,100 had defective injector and two days later found minor crack in head. Couple weeks later started acting same way. Decided was over it although I lived that truck. Went to Nissan dealership to purchase a new Titan and really liked it. Drove off lot with a new Maxima because don’t need truck anymore. Saved me lots of money and got lot for the money. Thanks for video. I hope your dream works out because you are GREAT at this. I watch a lot of videos and you are one of the best. Appreciate the attention to detail which most don’t do. I subscribed today so good luck.
I just bought this exact vehicle a few days ago and I have to thank you so much for this! You literally saved me hours of reading the boring owners manual. I liked your video and I subscribed. whenever I wanna reference something I’ll look up your video !! way more fun than reading an owners manual.
I have a Touareg 2012. It served me well for 10 years! Now looking to swap it for a sedan, and this is the one I have my eyes on! Can't wait to get it 😊
Great review man! Just bought myself this car- dark grey color with Premium package and AWD. Like you said, it doesn’t have much of a pep but everything else rocks so that’s good enough for me. By the way, I enjoyed your review and I like the way you articulated everything in a very fluid and easy to understand manner.
I think the Altima looks really amazing looking at 2021 Nissan Altima SR at a Nissan store they are holding for us to get us out of our 2019 gmc terrain denali that we are paying 760 a month and they are saying that it is going to help us pay less
Nissan 2024 Altima for that price, the Visor mirror lights need to be led, the yellow light is very 90s looking. Moonroof should be added to this car and also led lighting should be around the doors so it can light up at night.
Wife had the older Nissan, it was a great car, traded it off for a 2016 Sentra, the transmission went out at 100,000 miles, it cost $7200.00 to replace it. ( CVT transmission) Junk transmission in my opinion... Most of their models are going to that transmission, not a fan ... Have to replace the transmission fluid every 30,000 miles, (Nissan shop only). The cost is $475-$512.00 per service.
I'm going to keep my Maxima. They are not going to be making it 2024... when they realize they messed up when they didn't bring it back I will buy it again.
@@703Speed well that is reassuring. I always liked their styling and comfort. Hopefully they continue to progress with their reliability. I enjoy your reviews. Keep them coming.
@@tomas8052 The new Altimas are rated as quite reliable and have among the better annual maintenance cost. However, remember to change out the transmission fluid every 30K and the CVT should work perfectly fine for the long haul. The downside of owning an Altima is that it has a lower resale value compared to the Camry or Accord; but if you're the kind of person who keeps a car for 8 years or more (the sweet spot for cost effectiveness according to Consumer Reports), the difference becomes much less insignificant.
I bought the exact same model today, I’ve already gotten multiple compliments from random strangers on the color alone.
The color and car make for a sweet combo
How’s that CVT holding up?

They require fluid change, screen, filter and magnetic cleaning every 40-50k to last. Car Wizard has a great video on them
In my opinion, this is a good car is not the best option but the 2.5 engine does not struggle for power, and love the new design and interiors.

Nice. No manumatic shifting with the gear shifter? Only paddle shifters I guess. Looking to upgrade my Altima. Solid review.
Thank you
Put the carbon fiber look around the car makes it look amazing

Very massive grill, I like it. Very nice car for daily driving. Greetings
20:52, finally i know what it's for 😅😅.it's like Nissan was trying to hide it.
Well done. Thanks. Peace bro.
What is the "L" for on my gear?

This car is good for my granny. 👍The front looks like it copies from the Lexus.

That's it...130 mph.... I guess you didn't drive the maximum.
Dope💯💯
Love your reviews man!! But read those 600+ unread messages!!!!! Lol
Nissan ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
How's the sound system?
Good enough
😂😂😂@@703Speed
Great looking car but worry about the reliability.
I heard the new CVT’s are better

@@tomas8052 Thank you - will do!
@@tomas8052you got 3 years of basic warranty and 5 years of power train

I like it, but paying extra for a rear trunk spoiler ??? On a SR.. Pretty lame Nissan.
I agree.. Definitely should come standard on the SR.. Pretty expensive spoiler at that lol
Great beginners car
I have the same exact car... where the hell is your ebrake? Lol
Damn your average MPGs is 15.7. You’re driving the hell out of that car lol
Lol - not much data to pull from for the trip computer. Only had like 30 miles on it
カッコいい
If you want the welfare version of the Maxima this it! If you can’t afford it that’s fine but stop saying it’s comparable.
Driven wack poor acceleration
Awd though any weather conditions
Gas saver 2.5
Good technology 👏
Good cornering
Not a bmw
SUPERGIRL CAR 🚗
I say that ALOT. I'm going to give it to my 16 year old daughter next year.
Anytime you say nissan CVT stay away from that trash past 2012
Transmission fock top
Ger German instead, not this cheap Asian car
German is more $$
Ya good luck with Audi’s 500$ oil change 😆😆😆
I had and enjoyed driving German sports sedans. But I did not like the high maintenace costs; parts were astronomical.
