If you fall for a "giveaway scam" where they say they will send you back double immediately, then you being scammed is just natural selection
All ppl, who believe cryptocurrency is the future are in a selection man!!! x''D
They are just addicts with too much money! :D
Quantumcomputers are here, and cryptocurrency is only alive as long as they want it to be or they invented their own.
As long as they get inflated money of addicts by tax they let it alive. ;)
Little addicts, spending their money, while they stil working mo - fri think they will pwn the Establishment... too funny :D
Cryptocurrency, also Bitcoin, is an invalid scam! :D

All you have to do to make money in crypto is just buy it and HOLD IT! You can sell it later on a proper exchange, pay a bit in taxes and call it a life of leisure.
GREED is what will cost you in the long run.

I got a Facebook ad from "Coïnbase" so naturally, i reported it to Facebook, trying to be a good citizen and all... But one hour later Facebook mailed me back basically saying that there was nothing wrong with Coïnbase. So apparently you shpould't be concerned about the 2 dots on the i, it's fine, Facebook said so.

This is great information! I am from NY so we are naturally paranoid here, lol. Scammers have tried to scam me out of money, etc. thru ought my life, but no one is pulling the rug out from me. Anyway, I have read that your private info can be stolen by "sim swapping" from your phone. I don't know how that works, but I don't do any banking, investing, from my phone. You did not mention the sim swapping, but thanks for your DD! :)

I don't get why Google can't implement a simple solution on RUclips to prevent anyone with the same name or display pic to comment on the video
i know it drives us crazy. I suggested three simple algorithmic solutions to Google.... but no word back.
it's still obvious on if it is the creator or not because the real one has a highlighted name, but still sucks
@@investanswers6924 lol this is next level. spammers asking to subscribe :P
Here’s why: If a RUclipsr happens to use your name, should you be banned from commenting? Probably not. So instead, RUclips could force a different name to make it obvious, which also doesn’t help because scammers will use ChannelName-Support or ChannelName-Moderator or something, so instead RUclips did something a scammer cannot fake: The RUclipsr’s name is highlighted.
This is essentially out of band authentication (out of the channel the scammer can control).
Unfortunately people are trusting, and no amount of “if you don’t see this, it is a scam” will overcome a scammer who opens up with “We don’t do that anymore, instead this is how you verify me”. Other than getting people to pay attention, there is no fix, and that isn’t really a fix either as it is simply not possible for a common individual to be an expert in everything a scammer could target.
Thank you for looking after your fans James 👍🌈

Really inspiring video, I feel although I am a small creator this inspires me to create a video on this topic.
It would make sense if they start establishing Crypto Banks for lay people like me where we can buy Cryptos in cash. I don't feel confident to do this on my own on my computer. I do like your "Bull" sculpture that you always place in your video backgrounds. Nice touch.

(Update... Actually posted the message in the comments about 10 times replying to scammers).
I've have received numerous texts and emails after the Ledger data breach, I changed email and bought a phone that isn't attached to my name anymore. I only use this for crypto and nothing else. Just scares me they have my address, smh. I'm just waiting for the next breach.

@InvestAnswers This impersonating user is so stupid that he even posts his scam underneath a video that warns about exactly this scam.
Sadly, RUclips is soo slow in blocking/removing these scammers, as this account exists already since Dec'2020 and has been reported numerous times to RUclips.

Very true, that was on my list but most people do not know how to use that OS.

Lower your account to the Standard access level.

Some amazing information. Also, would it be best to store on a hardware wallet like a ledger. I heard the risks of it getting stolen are very low and as close to impossible as long as I don’t do anything stupid like fall for these phishing attempts

Extremely important information and thank you so much for addressing the issue! Do you recommend using a VPN whenever you are doing business on an exchange?
@@investanswers6924 Scammer.
I'll add a few.
Don't use online password generators, ensure complex passwords are unique.
Use address whitelist functions on exchanges to allow only specific addresses (of your hardware wallets) to be used.
Use unique email from protonmail for Crypto management. Do not use this email for ANYTHING else.
Ensure devices are patched regularly and use AV.
