I was trying out the phone service for something else when I came across this. Got blinded by greed rip $150. Wasnt even mad because I was being scummy

There are 2 situations for the setup: 1. They are trying to steal from you (as this vid shows) 2. They are idiots, but if it needs an actual card, then you can be tracked down and criminally charged with theft (this is a guess, i do not work in the law industry)
we know nobody is that dumb cmon, just dont click on any SUSSY websites because by just doing that they'll get a lot of info from you, like your ip and the browser youre using etc (info that could be sold)

This scam is actually really smart ngl, it could definitely easily trick someone, thanks for letting us know about this ntts, glad you do other stuff instead of only discord realted content
now you dont have to turn of friend requests from everyone in fear of being friended by scam bots or something because discord added a captcha to friending people and stuff. It will take a while for them to adapt because they will probably have to get people or pay for a service that bypasses captchas by doing them manually.

I saw another variant of this a while back. It had an account with like 6 million but the minimum withdrawal was $50 higher than the account's balance. The idea is to get the target to add money into the account so they can *attempt* to withdraw the money
50 $ wouldn’t have worked. Look at the vip transfer limits. To transfer those >2000000 $ form Jayden’s account you’d need at least vip7 which needs like 2000$. It’s even worse but explains the big transfers

oh hey that explains a lot ive been getting loads of twitter DMs with the username and password, along with the not at all sus website, and then the msg "pls help me manage bitcoin account" the moment i saw it the first time i knew it was a scam, but had no idea wtf they were even trying to do with it since ive never clicked the link because. duh. since then ive gotten like 50 of the things -_- edit: its just hit me their name is "check my bio" but the only thing in the bio is the info with the implication that they think its hidden from anyone. that doesnt even make sense in the narrative-

I fell victim to a scam. The scam I encountered was much more sophisticated. You know when you take a screenshot and upload it? Well, I altered the link multiple times and managed to capture a screenshot of someone’s chat where their login credentials for crypto were visible. All I needed to do was pay a fee to access the money, which I did.
How to not get hit by this scam: don't try to steal people's money, ez. I think this scam is actually pretty morally acceptable. Although, it is annoying to get these friend requests
That is one of those scams where you need to pay an amount to withdraw unexistent money. Ive seen these on tiktok put they make you put a promo code and to withdraw you need to pay.
