One of my fave MCR songs. This gives it a bit of a rock ballad feel and takes away some of the emo-ness. For me, that's not a good thing as I'm a big emo fan. This could make certain songs/genres accessible to a larger audience. Overall, the original is still my jam, but this is a solid mix.
I'm with the others... I'd love more MCR. But I'd also like to see what else you can do with other bands in the genre. The Used, for example. Bert's voice esp in his earlier albums might play nice with this kind of mix.

Love it. For your next MCR song you should do “I Don’t Love You” 🥰
Could be a tough one because it's a bit low and slow already. You could slow it WAY down and try to go for a slow jam feel, but that might lower the vocals too much and sound ridiculous.
In contrast, a song like I'm Not OK could play well for this kind of mix.
@@EliGassert I feel like there must be a level in which you can slow it down to enhance its already strong emotional feel that makes your bones resonate. I’m Not Okay would be another song that would sound good I will not disagree with that. But with the whole message and feel of I Don’t Love You a good slow downed + reverb version might be what the world needs!

Usually really dislike slowed down versions, but this mcr stuff makes me relive my childhood emo days withouy it sounding THAT emo
i feel like with these slower songs i can pick out more of the individual/hidden parts of songs. for example, the horns in the last part before the final chorus in wttbp. the horns rise above the band and i couldn’t hear them until i heard the slowed version of it. in this, it’s the guitar whines and static during the bridge, which i fell in love with honeslty. that’s my favorite part of these videos.

Third or fourth video I see/hear where Gerard's voice, when slowed down, sounds like Eddie Vedder's. It's quite interesting, because it shows that singers with a rather broad range, although it wouldn't be the case here as Vedder's range, well, maybe he has a shooting range, but other than that it's pretty flat. Like a shooting range. Anyway! A singer with an ample range could either bring great songs back, or give them an interesting touch. Like Elvis Presley's cover of "Bridge over Troubled Water", which is better than the original, or the relatively recent cover of "The Sound of Silence" by Disturbed, also better than the original. Or maybe it isn't about range as it is about putting passion, something a _castrato_ like Mr. Garfunkel was not good at. Thanks for the great job and video!

This song came out when I was 7 or 8 years old. I remember going on my laptop and seeing this masterpiece for the first time. Have never regretted that moment even once. I love MCR so much! I’m so heartbroken that they broke up a few years ago ☹️😭
