- As we near Valentine’s Day, my thoughts turn to a holiday staple - the classic dozen red roses. It’s one of the most popular designs for Valentine’s Day and here’s how we do it! It’s certainly not rocket science and there is a pattern to follow in placing the roses! Does this match how you do it? And, the pour for this episode is a favorite in our family - Angel’s Envy! This particular bottle was gifted to me by a client (thanks, Wanda!!). It’s a wonderful and easy sipper. Thanks for watching! Cheers!

That’s a healthy pour.
It takes a lot to get thru Valentine’s Day! 😂😂
Love this particular Video.. you are a straight forward not a difficult to learn from TEACHER! Some just make things too Complicated. I really appreciate your approach because its a Simple way and it works. Thank You so much!I I now have a NEW CONFIDENCE and the Bourbon doesn't hurt either in Moderation.. Thank You. ❤🎉I'm a giver and I will be using this technique in one of my VASE arrangements for a Wedding Shower and upcoming Outdoor Wedding for a Niece of mine near Wine Country 🍇🍾🥂
Thank you so much!! What a lovely compliment and I am very flattered! I'm so glad you found this video useful and that you'll be able to use what you've learned. There are other videos on my channel that also show other styles of vase arrangements using mixed flowers, too. Thanks for watching! And, enjoy that sip of bourbon, too! Cheers!
Terrific video - and ANYTHING but red roses for Valentine's Day would be my preference!
@@carriew29 hahaha! I so agree! Personally, give me a vase of mixed color tulips, and I’ll be happy! What’s your preference? Thanks for your kind words and for watching. Cheers!
@@creativeoccasionseventsflo8075 a sweet little arrangement of Lily of the Valley for me! Our yard has a hillside full of them, but I must wait until May for those to bloom. Your videos are the only floral designs my husband will watch with me, but he enjoys the bourbon discussions!
@@carriew29 Sounds lovely! I have a very small patch of them at my house, but not enough to really do anything with! And, glad your husband finds some interest in the videos as well! Thanks again for watching!

@creativeoccasionseventsflo8075 I am! I'm only 2 years in (focused on funerals and freelance for events). I love to learn basics as well as the most recent trends. 🌸🙏 Keep up the great work. 🙂
@@BonitaLiving that's awesome!! Please feel free to check out my other videos if you haven't already. And, best of luck to you! 🥰
Noticed that you don't wire the roses, why not?
Hi! Great question! We typically never wire the roses for one reason primarily - we don't have to because they perform well and don't get "droop neck!" Our suppliers are vetted to make sure the rose quality is great and then, our in-house processing and care is also very stringent. We just don't have issues with the roses, so there is no need to wire them. I honestly feel that piercing the rose just below the bloom will more rapidly deteriorate the vase life of the rose, so I see it as more harmful than good. Thanks for watching! Cheers!
