I don’t think Braids lets you “designate” a type of the permanent you sacrifice (when he sacrificed solemn simulacrum), your opponents just have to sac something that shares a type, like a treasure
“If the permanent that you sacrifice as you resolve Braids's triggered ability has more than one card type, each opponent may choose to sacrifice any permanent they control that shares any card type with it. For example, if the permanent you sacrifice is an artifact creature, one opponent might choose to sacrifice an artifact and another opponent might choose to sacrifice a creature.”
@19:40 Matzalantli could not have been transformed, since it needs permanent types, not card types. The Mana Geyser did not enable the transformation, he needed an enchantment, planeswalker or battle. Also if you transform it, it's tapped since it doesn't exile to come back, so you need an untapper or wait a turn to use it.
Always a shame when a player is stuck on mana in the early game. Seeing Tergrid is a death sentence, if not for the table, then for her controller. Really wanted to see Xavier do stuff as sultai is my favorite wedge. In the end, everyone went the way of the dinosaurs (pun intended).
Interesting game. Was looking to see how other people built/played Pants. Didn't really care for this one despite it coming out the winner. The decklist looks like it forgot what it was doing halfway through and got confused. Millennium Calendar? Also not sure on some of those plays but oh well. Was everyone else running high priced decklists, or just Jon? I tried the decklist links but they just go to the profile pages and not the actual decklists. I tried finding a couple of the decks used but they seem mega buried so I just gave up.
Carlos removed the Grave Pact on his turn. Spencer could have sacrificed creatures then, but at the time only I (Jeff) had creatures on the board. Jon did not have any creature out yet, it would not have changed the outcome of the game. Removing the grave pact is what allowed Jon to kill Spencer.
I was about as triggered watching this as Carmen everytime someone sac'd something and she didn't gain the life she was suppose to. Spencer was always so low and he easily had a surplus of 30 life if he'd of gained all he was suppose to from the Pact triggers and treasures.
Ya a hard part about making so many decks for all the new sets is we can forget parts of them pretty easily as we’ve most of the time never played the deck before.
Totally my opinion- you guys need different background music. More upbeat. I realized halfway through how spacey and ambient it was and affected the entire mood of the video for me. it felt more intense and moodier than it should be. the funnier and lighthearted moments do NOT vibe with the overall tone of the video and soundtrack as you have it imo. this music is for a haunted house deep dive video not a friendly commander vid. also there were a few strange editing cuts mid-speech but mostly just please change the music

I know some things work like that so we will have to look into it

Carmen triggers whenever a PLAYER sacs a permanent, not just yourself. She’s a great card.
So good
Going after dreadhoard invasion with rhythm of the wild in play with a dino deck that has nearly 20 mana is an interesting choice to say the least.
We all underestimated Jon at that point

Oof. Good call.
There are so many new cards I just soar to assume they work how the player says. I need to check more often
Etali at 18:20. Those cards lands stay exiled. They don't go to the bottom
Good call
Love the Emperor's New Groove fun 😂
Next secret lair!
The pantlaza deck is not in the description, carmen deck link was placed twice
Should be there now
Carlos what sleeves do you use for this deck? I like the blue
One of the new Dragonshield sleeves!
Nice match despite some players won't be able to develop the game properly but love the aggro turnaround
It happens. Fun game overall tho
A llama land? He’s supposed to be dead!
I’m a llama again!

I wish every deck got to at least do something, but when it’s not scripted we get what we can. Hopefully it’s fun enough
Shame to see Xavier never pop off, he's so unique. Great game!
He is too slow :(
Had a crazy board state for a second there
@@iSunshine1337 I don’t think he is slow, I think he should have done a different strategy…! Superfriends are too slow!
A few times yall mentioned Carlos's Abuelo flickering Spencer's Loran. It cannot do that. It is creatures or artifacts you control.
We got there eventually. Haha…

We try and make decks around the similar power level but sometimes it doesn’t turn out exactly how we want. We just do our best to have fun though.
@@KingdomsTV Gotcha. It's your games. But it does lend to the vibe of "of course the only guying playing expensive fast mana won" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Pant just wants ramp and high toughness dinos
Why did Carlos cast swiftfoot boots then untap an island?
Sometimes a take back doesn’t show up past the edit
Let's go!
Woot!
At the end why didn’t Spencer sacrifice to the Altar to trigger the Grave Pact and kill off the board…? He could have survived.

It was exiled before he could
Cannot see the pantlaza decklist
Updated!

We change almost every episode. Check some others out and let me know what you think.
Why even play dinosaurs if you are not going to play a tribal deck man the heck
Because dinosaurs are cool?
Saying go is kinda of pushy, just say pass!
👍
Go is fine, say what you want
@@literNL ok, just feels pushy
Telling other people how to end their turn seems way more pushy.
