  • Just one of many 'To Do' projects on my list for our new 575 Acre Southern Missouri Ozarks farm. Today is just some real time seat time in my Bobcat E42 R2 series 10,000lb Mini Excavator. I was waiting for a 'real' excavator to arrive so that I could show him around our next land clearing project and I had at least a half hour so I hopped in my bobcat mini excavator and stayed close to the house, and started clearing a severely overgrown field, that at one time was probably very beautiful. And then he was late, so I had over an hour to occupy while waiting for him so this worked out quite well and was a very productive use of the time. If you are new to the channel, welcome! Here are some recent video links from our 2nd RUclips channel where most of our new Missouri life and land episodes are at:

Living The Dream ~ 575 Acres. Wow. I’d be a happy man if I could have 40 Acres. With The Price Of Real Estate In Michigan These Days I’ll Be Lucky If I Can Afford 4 Acres. Anyways I Just Came Across Your Channel. Awesome.

Thank you. Its been a long journey for sure. I started in life with 3 acres, and then kept moving up from there. We had to rehab and flip dozens of properties to get to where we are now. Start small if you want some land. But I know this inflation is crushing many, no doubt. Best of luck thanks! You should join us on our other channel where most of our Missouri stuff will be at @kapperoutdoors2.0 Thanks

Hey there Kap, you're into a long clearing process. Do you think renting a dozer and doze out 6 inches below surface and tear all vegetation out. Of course, the cost of a dozeer and transportation may be one heck of a headache. Hope you're doing well. Tell Sharon I said hello. Take good care of yourself. Semper Fi Don 👍🏽🤠 09/14/24

Hey Don, hope all is well. We actually have dozers going right now on the new MO farm. But the smalle stuff I'll keep clearing with what I've got. Take care SF

Got hurt pretty bad by a weed stob when I was a kid. I fell on it and got a deep puncture on my leg. 75 years later I still have very prominent scar on my leg. It happened in S. Ill. So, I know what a "stob" is.

Sorry to hear that. Yeah many might not know but many have been injured or killed by a stob. Dangerous stuff for sure! Thanks

Joe you making videos faster than I can watch😂. Find that cave Kapper, dig down make a walkway into it, how cool would that be. Find some ancient artifacts. That be fun to sit in one of those fancy stands with a riffle for a couple hours. Other than one morning hunting Terry’s frozen stand on hayrack in ice storm with oxygen froze up last time I really deer hunted was 2010. Killed a nice buck. I just sat on side of ravine with 2 large M tanks and buck ran down the ravine and stopped.
What size rifle will you use if you hunt this year?
