- We review the Gigantic Godzilla 2019 Ric Exclusive figure from toy maker X-Plus. We compare it to the X-Plus Gigantic Shin Godzilla Ric Exclusive figure, and also to the NECA Atomic Blast Godzilla 2019 action figure, and the SH MonsterArts Godzilla 2019 Poster Version action figure. This figure is based on the 2019 movie Godzilla King of the Monsters.

Amazing figure. Wish I had the money and room for something like that haha! I saw a few X-Plus Gigantic figures at SDCC19, though I think they weren't this particular one and definitely not with the blue glow. Shin is awesome too. Gotta check out that review as well. Funny thing about the NECA and SHMA figures, the NECA one is far cheaper, but I think I like its design better! For the price range and what you get for it, NECA really can't be beat, IMO.

Wow, both of these look great, but the 2019 is my absolute favorite design. Great video guys. Do you think X Plus will be doing the 2019 Godzilla in any of their other series? Maybe 30 cm?
Man I sure hope they do, that G19 mold would look perfect for the 30cm line, also would scale really well with my Neca Pacific Rim figures.

X-Plus made Shin Godzilla figures in many different sizes, so I hope they do the same with 2019.
I hope Godzilla's dorsol plates are 2014 version in GODZILLA VS KONG 2020

Another thing to notice is that if they were in the same movie the size is accurate
The only thing I dislike w the Shin is the odd head placement. The seam should’ve been on the shoulders/neck instead of vertically behind the jaw.

This collection is incredible, you should publish a photo book detailing it. There are only two decent ones I'm aware of but none encompass everything to date.

Luminous every figure based/toy item in the collection. Starting from the Popy/Yutaka range through Bandai, Kaiyodo, into XPlus. A great template to follow would be the old Bandai Godzilla Toy book. ISBN 4891892921. It’s in Japanese but would provide a good outline.

Finally guys, ive been waiting for this! I'm seriously looking at both versions atm, not sure which to get. I luv the Ric version with the the blue fins alot. But I think the standard versions coloring is better bc the Ric version is darker. Just wondering your guys thoughts on both??
I have not seen the standard 2019 in person. In general, I prefer Godzilla figures that have some color. If a Godzilla figure is shades of gray, it might blend into its background, or lose its detail.
@@LuminousNews I agree, I prefer the Godzilla figures with color as well. Per why the Neca Poster Godzilla Version is one of my all time favorites! But anyways if you get time check out "Leslie Chambers Kaiju Reviews" channel. Fast forward towards the end of the video, he has them both side by side. Btw when I found your channel last year, that is what got me back into collecting and collecting the big G 👍

I had someone tell me the tails don't stay on very well on these figures. Is there any truth to that? I just ordered the 2019 fire Godzilla is why I ask.
GForever has not had trouble keeping the tails on, but most of the tails require that you put a stand under them, which is included. There is sometimes a noticeable seam where the tail was attached. But I don't think these are big issues.
I thought being a ric boy exclusive that they had a lighting feature!!
It is often a light up effect, but sometimes it is different paint, sometimes it is an extra item, and sometimes it is a different sculpture. I like the extra items the most, and then the different paint. The light up effects generally disappoint me.
I would buy that, but I want that Spiral Studios' Deluxe Ghidorah.
I'm not planning to buy the Spiral figure, but I hope I get to see it in person.
Honestly, the seam separation is horrible, at that price point it should all fit. The seams are definitely a problem and hard to look at.

My favorite monster movie was the original 1933 King Kong. I highly recommend it. My favorite Godzilla movie was Destroy All Monsters.
