I love the 3rd one even though it’s more of a murder mystery with horror elements. The second one is kind of hokey imo. I think it’s the Crooked Man thing. It was so goofy haha
C1 and C2 are both great, I like the second one a bit more even if much of it is exaggerated for the movie like the Crooked Man which never happened in the real case that's all Hollywood bs. C3 is a terrible mess, everything that worked in the first two is thrown out the window here for some ugly generic dime a dozen horror style.
As a lifelong fan of horror movies, it's so normal for them to be bad. The list of bad horror movies is literally endless. But this one was an instant classic when it came out. One of my favourites!
I'm an avid horror fan and, to me, this is the most definitely top 5 ever scariest movies. I'm so stoked you watched it!! Please, continue to watch the entire series!!
One of the scariest fcking things happening to me: Watching this movie at being like 11 or 12 years old, then going into my dads room and realizing he has literally the exact closet as in the movie (the one with the hole to the wall where that demon sits on in the one scene). I’m not even kidding it was the EXACT same one. I was scared for years to go into his room on my own
I live in a home built in 1973. It's got a gas boiler heating system with lots of copper piping. When it fires up, the pipes expand, with a lot of creaking and popping. Imagine how it sounds in a large older home on a cold night. It's just me and the cat.
You're so right about horror movies involving children are much more scary! (I.e.: The Conjuring, Insidious, The Shining, Children of the Corn, Poltergeist, etc.)
Seeing the photos at the end come up really drives home the impact people felt from the "based on the true story" at the start. There's always a disconnect between the audience and the actual people themselves, but seeing that photo gets rid of that barrier and everything feels so much more real.
I don't really believe but something really freaky happened when I was watching this movie. My iPad started playing in another room and when I went out to look the title of the song it was playing was "God is Dead". That was a few years ago and nothing else has happened. Still, even though I don't believe, I won't mess with Ouija boards or go to "haunted" places, why tempt fate?
Another fun fact, the real Warrens were horrible people who scammed desperate people out of a lot of money and would blatantly turn away people that weren't Catholic, telling them they should suffer for their sin (of not being Catholic). Real deserving of a bunch of movies that make them look like heroes. (Also, Ed was accused of being a p3do and the devout Catholic Lorraine convinced the SA victim to have an abortion when he knocked her up.)
Du har veldig bra reactions 🙂 setter pris på the entertainment. Syns også det var litt gøy når jeg skjønte du var norsk, tok litt tid før jeg fikk med meg det haha.
Great reaction. My wife and I saw the theater when it came out. We also saw "Insidious Chapter 2" that year. Both are great movies. I can't remember which movie, but when we went to see it, it was on a Wednesday night and we were the only 2 in the theater. Really creepy. I like the Insidious movies more than the Conjuring/ Annabelle movies. Mostly because they always put "based on a true story" for those and you know that they are not anything like the real event. The insidious movies don't claim to be true and they have a creepier vibe to me. I hope you consider watching them.
Ciao querida, glad to see u made it thru THE CONJURING.😊 I found it funny when u started yelling @ the screen as if the characters can hear u. "I told u to get out of there, but u don't want to listen."😅 I'm also a believer in the paranormal. I have also gone on a couple of paranormal investigations. One of them being in my own house. I told u of this in my comment for THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE ep. 1-2 reaction. U are doing pretty good w/that one too.😊 Ok, where to start?🤔 Ed & Lorraine Warren are considered the mother & father of modern paranormal investigation. Although for a lot of their investigations they relied a great deal on Lorraine's psychic ability rather than actual physical proof. I forgot what show it was that I was watching, but it showed the father & 4 of the daughters of the actual Perron family returning to the house after many years. The mother refused to go back there. For the movies, they made the Annabelle doll look much creepier than the actual doll. The real Annabelle doll is a large Raggedy Ann doll. It's a cloth doll w/red yarn for hair. I used to have a small Raggedy Ann doll when I was a kid. I loved it.😊 I have 2 personal experiences that are a bit similar to things that happened in this movie. 1. The tugging of the feet. Mind u, I was the type of kid that did not leave my feet outside the covers. Yet, something would occasionally pull on my big toes in the night while I was trying to go to sleep. I slept in a room w/2 of my siblings, a brother & a sister, both younger than me. I slept on the top bed of a bunk bed. At 1st, I thought it might be my little brother messing w/me, but I looked over to his bed & he was asleep. I peered down @ the bottom bunk to see my sister also sleeping. I thought "That was weird."??? I settled down on my pillow & closed my eyes, & then "YANK" something tugged the opposite toe. I swear I heard a female giggle that time. It scared me so it took a few seconds before I could look down toward my feet. Again, didn't see anything. Even though I was a scared, I was also getting angry. Again, I lie down attempting to fall asleep. For a 3rd time, something pulled on my big toe. This time, I was angry. I sat up in bed & crawled over to the foot of my bed peering down. Nothing was there. I said out loud, but not so loud as to wake my siblings. "Stop it! It's not funny!" I went back to my pillow, & finally fell asleep without any more disturbances. 2. Hearing clapping. Back when I was in my mid-20s, I lived w/a friend & her family which consisted of her mother, stepfather & teenage brother, Daniel. My friend's mother was extremely ill & practically bedridden, & @ the time I was for the most part her caregiver. She had one of 2 ways to get our attention. She would either clap/ring the bell on her nightstand. One night, the only people @ the house were me, my friend's brother & their mother. I had given their mother her medication so she was asleep for the night. Daniel & I decided to watch something on Cinemax. It was passed 10pm & that's when the sexy stuff would be on. I mean, it didn't get the nickname "Skinamax" for no reason.😄 Anyway, we sat down to watch this movie, & it gets to a sex scene. All of a sudden, we hear CLAP*CLAP* CLAP coming from one of the bedrooms. Daniel figured it was his mother since nobody else was in the house. He got up looked into his parents' bedroom & seemed confused. "What's the matter? Is she ok?," I asked. He looked over @ me & said. "It couldn't have been her. She's sound asleep." I told him to come back to watch the movie. He complained that he missed the sex scene. I told him I was sure there was going to be another one. About 5 mins later, there was another one.😄 Again, came the CLAP*CLAP*CLAP. He griped about it, but got up for a 2nd time to check on his mother. "WTH?!" I turned away from the TV to look @ him. "What's wrong?" "Nothing!" He exclaimed. "She's still knocked out." "Umm, I don't want to scare u or anything, but the clapping didn't sound like it was coming from your parents' room." "What room do u think it came from?" "The one behind u." He glanced back @ the slightly ajar bedroom door, & then hurried over to where we were sitting. "We're the only ones here. So, who's clapping?" I looked @ him for a second, shrugged, & then said. "It might be the old lady that used to live in this house. I don't think she approves of what we're watching." "Yeah right, you're just trying to freak me out." "Ok, then, how do u explain the clapping?"I asked. "I don't know." He said. "What I do know is I want to watch this movie." I laughed & replied. "Teenage boys & their hormones." To which, he said, "Damn straight!" A 3rd sex scene unfolded on the TV, & again came theCLAP*CLAP* CLAP. This time, I got up to check on his mother. She was asleep & slightly snoring so it definitely wasn't her. I turned my attention to Daniel. "Hey, change the channel." "What?! Why?! It's getting to the good part." "Just do it." He groaned in frustration, but did as I said. We put on a tamer movie. We watched the new movie entirely w/no more claps.😊 Sorry this is so long. Just 1 more thing, I really enjoyed your reaction.😊👍
Kamilla the case on Long Island is the infamous “Amityville Horror”. The true part of that story is that in the 70’s a man named Ron DeFeo shot and killed his parents and siblings as they slept. A family would move into the house and claimed that the house was haunted. They wrote a bestseller about it and it became a hit movie. It’s pretty much been debunked as none of the owners after have claimed to experience anything. Many Long Islanders have driven by the house at night and stopped to have a look. Sort of a right of passage. I’m one of those many. Haha.
All the Conjuring movies, the 2 Nun movies, and all the Annabelle movies and the Curse of La Lorrina are all part of the Conjuring universe, and they makin a Conjuring 4 and Annabelle 4 and rumors of a Nun 3
Awwww you're so cuteee when you're getting scared i wish i can be with you side by side calming you down but anyways great reaction and great horror pick
I can't get over how fantastic this movie is! if you ever want another movie featuring the horror duo of James Wan & Joseph Bishara, the movie "Insidious" is another great one & one of my favorite horror movies ever!
The girl with the wind chime “Cindy” is actress, and child model Mackenzie Foy. She’s been in Interstellar, The Nutcracker movie as Clara, but you probably know of her as Bella and Edward’s Cullen’s daughter , Renesmee Cullen from Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2. As for why it’s usual younger children who can see and sense these things…..their minds still aren’t fully developed, and society hasn’t programmed them into what they should and shouldn’t believe in. So that’s why with Cindy, Christine, and April….they’d be able to sense and see a spirit better than Nancy, and Andrea because the younger you are the less time your brain has been developed.
As someone who loves horror films but doesn’t believe in ghosts and spirits they did a great job, the ending fell flat for me but the build up is amazing

Hello, check out a movie called, Christine. Horror/Thriller (1983). A classic red and white 1958 Plymouth Fury named Christine, the car is possessed by evil. It stars Keith Gordon, John Stockwell, Alexandra Paul, Robert Prosky and Harry Dean Stanton. Directed by John Carpenter. Stephen King’s 1983 novel of the same name.
odd request but could you do react to Harry potter movies ? I am curious if you seen them all sure maybe not horror :P oh and you should check out the 6th sense ;)
I lived not far away from the Conjuring house. It is a good movie but creepy! It holds your interest and it gives you your money's worth. The original doll is just a Raggedy Ann doll. It looks harmless but do not touch!
The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2 are just fantastic. James Wan really knocked it out of the park with both of these movies.
The guy is a magician when it comes to horror movies!
I love the 3rd one even though it’s more of a murder mystery with horror elements. The second one is kind of hokey imo. I think it’s the Crooked Man thing. It was so goofy haha
conjuring 2 is such a meme though. The crooked man is like something from Tim Burton's movies

True, he always starts with really good movies that turn into a franchise that turns into absolute garbage.
“Set fire to the house and run”. Jeez girl, you’re never allowed to visit my house. If a pipe makes an odd sound you’d torch the place. 😂
LMAOOO
Make fun of her all you want, you KNOW her ass is gonna live.

Confirmed today that Kami is a frustrated arsonist. Instead of yelling "Run" she yells "BURN everything down and only THEN run..." 😅
The case on Long Island is Amityville.
You're so right about horror movies involving children are much more scary! (I.e.: The Conjuring, Insidious, The Shining, Children of the Corn, Poltergeist, etc.)
The Amityville house in the Long Island case was insane.
I have not seen Conjuring 3 yet but I loved the first two and they scared the crap out of me.
Seeing the photos at the end come up really drives home the impact people felt from the "based on the true story" at the start. There's always a disconnect between the audience and the actual people themselves, but seeing that photo gets rid of that barrier and everything feels so much more real.
Centane has the best reactions to horror movies plz watch more we love it!! 😊🍿
This was delightful and fun, thank you😊😊😊
The Annabelle doll is actually real but it’s a Raggedy Ann doll and it was very active.
I don't really believe but something really freaky happened when I was watching this movie. The exorcism of the farmer was a re-shoot of the original home movies. This clip was shown at the Warren museum.
😂 From the cover page, it's a face covering movie reaction!
I remember watching this movie at the theatre by myself ... while enjoying popcorn! 😅👍

You gotta see the Evil Dead (2013) unrated, another great horror release from that year. Personal favorite of mine, came outta the theater blown away.
Got a chair in my room that looks like something is sitting on it when I wake up at 2 AM. Makes me wonder something haunting me
One my favorite reactors back in the house for spooky season.

Warlock (1989 USA)
An "old" film, less scary than conjuring for sure, but: no doubt its magic will bewitch you!
😉
Joey King when she said, "It says it wants my family dead," should have gotten an Oscar just for that one line!!
Definitely bringing in the month of October in style by choosing such a great horror movie, The Cunjuring 1 and 2 are the best movies of the trilogy
Fun reaction to such a great scary movie. If you get a chance this October and if you can find this movie that stars Kevin Bacon it’s called a stir of echoes. Hopefully it can be found on some platform to stream. It’s not as scary of a movie like the conjuring, but it’s really good, especially if you like movies like the sixth sense.
Andrea Perron, the eldest daughter of the family, is my co-author.
She's been on our channel many times speaking about the Conjurimg house
Great choice for a comedy, I was laughing quite a bit.

dont let those intro's and the stuff they show you what looks like real life image throw you off, its all part of the sensation to get you scared.
I recommend Sinister 2012
Now that you’ve seen a movie like this, I think you should watch something like Midsommar.

Stephen King’s 1983 novel of the same name.
whats that face that appeared behind you at the end?
The name of the demon is Malthus😈
odd request but could you do react to Harry potter movies ? I am curious if you seen them all sure maybe not horror :P oh and you should check out the 6th sense ;)
I lived not far away from the Conjuring house. It is a good movie but creepy! It holds your interest and it gives you your money's worth. The original doll is just a Raggedy Ann doll. It looks harmless but do not touch!
Please watch the sequel !
so you know Sam and Colby? awesome!
Definitely scarier than Poltergeist.
now you must watch Annabelle
