Excellent video and on point. i've had Suzuki Great bike and I have a 23 Grizz, so far I love it. You did a great job with pros and cons and I couldn't agree more. look forward to seeing more videos to come. Would love to see your side by side comparison of the Grizzly 700 vs Suzuki KQ 750
The Yamaha Grizzly 700 EPS SE has an electronic parking brake that can be engaged by pressing the brake pedal, then pressing Park and pulling the brake up. The button will light up and the park indicator will appear in the digital cockpit. To release the brake, press the brake pedal and push the brake down, which will turn off the button light and make the park indicator disappear. The brake can also be released by tapping the accelerator, which is useful when parked on an incline.
I stumbled across your channel and like the tractor 🚜 videos. I noticed you have a very nice 4-board fence stained dark. Have you done a video about that? I'm curious what materials you used (thickness and type and where you purchased). Also, what stain you went with? Planning a similar fence this coming Spring in Minnesota. Thanks
I think it is, I have both KQ PS and KQ non PS; PS version I can steer down trails (ruts and rocks) with one hand and the non power steering I cannot. About to trade the non PS model I believe.
New can am 700 will put both of them to shame. Now that can am has taken over the 700cc single class, Yamaha differently need to step it up to twin 850cc+.
Great review! I'm actually looking at selling my 22' Outlander 650 XT and buy one of these. I want something with high reliability and last long term. So it was either the Rubicon 520 or this one. It would be nice to have a "regular" transmission and not worry about belts but the Yamaha definitely has a very durable CVT as we all hear and backed up by the 10yr warranty. I also like the little extra power the Griz has over the Rubi. Very surprised with the lack of a parking brake. I've always transported my quad in neutral and with the parking brake on so there's no stress on the gearbox. What's the recommended way with the Grizzly? Either way I think the overall package has definitely proven itself over the last +17yrs and would be a great machine for the long haul. Cheers!
King Quad 750 is the most under rated ATV out there. More power than the griz. Seating position of the griz is strange. Sit on top vs KQ you feel like part of the machine.
Is it actually more power ?? I rode my friends brand new Kingquad 750 and I didn’t feel like it was faster then my brand new grizzly but I deffs did really like it, I think they are both pretty bad azz bullet proof machines especially if you get the grizzly with the 686cc but personally I think the kingquad has a more utilitarian look to it like it’s geared towards work where as I feel the grizz is more sporty looking that actually wass main reason I bought the grizz was I just assumed ( never bothered to google the specs between the two tho ) that it was faster, reading this comment I just realized “ shit I never actually confirmed that I just assumed it “ lol
@@ronaldstrayer580 No not yet, I'm considering that new Can Am Outlander Pro. Pretty good value for the price. It debuted in 2023 to compete with the Grizzly and KingQuad.
My driveway is 1200' long, not flat, north Idaho, 2014 grizzly 550, warn provantage 60" blade. Bought everything new 10 years ago, 4700 miles later still goes like new. Never been to the shop. More than enough power.
I think you can adjust or at least move the throttle and you might want to move the handle bars up or down. Dealer installed stuff.. my grizzly the bars are back to far, the wives kodiak they're to far forward. I've owned many Grizzly and Yamaha products, great quad I've never had any problems. I do wish Grizzly came with better shocks but other than that love it !
I’m in Pennsylvania and 55 y/o.. many years ago i owned a grizzly 660. Great engine with gobs of power but ALL the CV joints were totally junk in like 2 years. Electrical gremlins .. never again!… however, at the time i had a 2000 Yamaha SRX snowmobile that was an absolute Monster power sled that i truly miss, and loved….mixed feelings about Yamaha.
Nice video honda guy my self but do like yamaha and suzuki but i prefer engine breaking then again i drove manual truck for 16 years and ride manual atv
I disagree about the hitch. I don't want a hitch receiver on my quads. I just want a ball. I don't want to have to pull my hitch off my truck and play musical chairs with it. All my trailers run one size ball, so I just want to drop them on the ball and go. Plus, I find that riding trails with a full hitch inserted in the receiver just hangs up on things, rattles, and adds weight.
Hi sorry can’t agree with you re the hand brake My last bike the brake came loose! Twice on the suzuki!! Yamaha no question much safer Yamaha much better bike. !!
I own a 2009 grizzly 700 - the gear shifter is exactly the same - stiff to switch out of some gears - 15 years later shifter works perfect and still sticks - the day I bought it I noticed the heat coming from my legs near engine - they just couldn’t fix that and every year since cooks you - real real hot after hard riding - wear shorts and legs burn - btw best ATV on the market - love it - all atvs have quirks 🤪🤷♂️👍 ps - stock axles cv’s suck !
I have a Grizzly. Had it since 2009 and still runs great.
Really well done watched pretty much every video on these machines and you have hit on some things nobody else have mentioned. Thank you
I can't wait for a comparison video and your personal thoughts on the Grizzly vs Kingquad.
They're both great machines, go with the one you can get cheaper.
@@echocall I own both used but if I were to sell both for something new then even then they're both th same price lol
Both great machines. If you want supreme confort, the grizzly seat is a lot more comfy.
King quad is better and smoother.
@@mukhanglarochannel4774 and faster and more powerful and lower price and better quality 😉
i'm going to pick this unit up next week. thank you for the video
THAT was a thorough review! Just changed my own oil on my third Suzuki KQ! Finally got a 750

I have an old Honda Rancher 420 4x4 and I absolutely love it and I will never change it for anything else 😊
Great video my friend. Bought a 2024 and luv the damn thing as much as my new truck
I'm still running my 1990 350 Big Bear Yamaha.
Amazing how far the utv has come. Before long they will be road legal.

Pressing "PARK", what do you mean? Engage the tranny shifter into park? Or press what?
Do you have any reviews of the Brute Force? I looked but didn't find any.

King Quad and Grizzly are the two best in their class, in my opinion.
Do you think the King Quads power steering is worth the extra money?
I think it is, I have both KQ PS and KQ non PS; PS version I can steer down trails (ruts and rocks) with one hand and the non power steering I cannot. About to trade the non PS model I believe.
Hope that helps. I have some videos as well.
Tough call. It's hardly noticeable but it is there. So I guess it's something.
New can am 700 will put both of them to shame. Now that can am has taken over the 700cc single class, Yamaha differently need to step it up to twin 850cc+.
Got rid of the King Quad? Did you have stalling or electrical issues with the Suzuki?

Great review. How does the exhaust heat of the Grizzly 700 compare to the King Quad 750 that you reviewed previously.
I have a Kingquad and there is zero exhaust heat unless you touch it on the pipe in the back
I have a king quad 750, while driving up hill and fast, never noticed any heat issue...
Thirty years of riding tell me engine braking beats hell out of free Wheeling

I would pick the grizzly over the king quad 7 days a week.
Do you think that grizzly would be capable of plowing snow on very long driveways and easements? An ATV plow I’m looking at by boss, weighs 245 LBS.
Did you ever get a four wheeler or snowplow, I could give you my input, I have a grizzly.

According to other videos the gear switcher was nice on the grizzly’s. Weird ^.-
So how does it compare to a Honda?
just sold my 2015 700 camo grizzly that only had 100miles on it for $8,000.00 very little time on it sold it in 1 week....
1 thing is that the grizzly isnt a pure work atv really its a dual sport atv kinda. The yamaha kodiak is yamaha's "Pure work atv"
What the heck is that big hole on the front r fender well a porta potty jk lol
the plastics coming off is 100% the fault of the dealer, not yamaha "fit and finish"
This is the best model. The big wheels on the XTR are a hindrance.
By the way farmer uk use grizzly everyday
