Embarrassing to lose this game, the best thing the team can do is carry the offensive momentum to next week & hopefully the defense wakes up, oh whale onto dallas.
Even though we played bad during the first half this was a very very winnable game. If the Pickens fumble or bad snap on the last drive did not happen this would have likely been a dub not to mention the two potential turnovers we did not secure
I am sorry. I disagree with you on fields. I feel like I am watching Pickett. They should never had gotten rid of Mason. We haven’t scored 30 points in a game since Ben, until Mason was reluctantly put in by Tomlin last year. Then he is gone for this crap again. This is an easy early season for Steelers. They should have done better.
I disagree with this take. Mason was good enough to win but in today’s game, fields had 3 tds and 367 yards of scrimmage, both of those have never been done by mason when mason had more weapons (Diontae Johnson with pickens instead of just Pickens) Also fields is a dual threat and in my opinion has been the best qb we’ve seen since Ben on the Steelers. He rarely turns the ball over. I can’t see any of our previous qbs doing what fields did today scoring tds on 3 straight drives making consistent good decisions, a lot of big 1st down conversions coming from his running ability would likely have not been converted from previous qbs. We made the right call.
