The last pro sports games ever at Oakland coliseum will come this week (A’s vs rangers tonight and then Weds. the 25th and Thurs. 26th). It’s hard to believe. While this stadium is often renounced for its lack of bells and whistles, the fact of the matter is that it’s been the host venue for countless of historic sports moments that have left an indelible impact on not just the Bay Area but the nation as a whole (from a sports fandom standpoint).
Well said. I miss the seeing the baseball field on the field in the Black Hole lol. I understand Vegas is a bigger market but still feel like we lost something when they moved. Much more corporate and less fun now.
I once went to the Coliseum at noon during a week day, and the gate was open. I walked in, and sat at the 50 yard line and ate lunch. I was by myself the entire time. Great experience. I really enjoyed going to games at the Coliseum. I never saw the Raiders there unfortunately, (although I saw them in the LA Coliseum). I saw a couple of A's games. I liked that it was outdoors, in that great No. Cal weather. Underrated experience.
Starting to forget that it wasn't so long ago that the Browns had an actually serviceable QB who didn't destroy their cap and wasn't a public enemy #1... (True, they also had Hue Jackson for HC which evens out the comparison...)
Being a Raiders I just realized we get all of Green Bay's WRs James Lofton,Javon Walker,Jordy Nelson,James Jones,Jared Cook and Davonte Adams. Might be more I missed
I used to hear the game from my porch in the village LoL that close especially in the 80s when the A's we're going crazy they share the same field raiders left in 83 came back in 95
thank you so called leaders of oakland. the city of oakland once a mega sports town no longer has any sports franchises left. tomorrow september 26th 2024 the OAKLAND ATHLETICS play their last game in oakland forever. A PITIFUL SHAME.
I noticed it then and see it now. It looked like Amari Cooper had a not so pleasant exchange with Jon Gruden as they walked off after the game. Coop was traded the next season for a first round pick (Jonathan Abram). History shows we lost that trade. And Cooper spoke highly of Gruden that preseason.
It’s still very risky to go for it in your own territory on 4th down even if it’s inches. If the Browns screw it up, then the Raiders would already be in position to tie the game. Example: Brandon Staley.
Cleveland Browns Was Member AFC Central Division From 1970 To 1993 And Los Angeles Raiders Was Member AFC West Division From 1970 To 1993 Thanks For Uploading
The Raiders had blown the two games prior, and that miscue on 4th down really made me think it was going to turn out the same way. Still can't believe they hung on to win this one.
Amazing how one bad call can change the whole game. Raiders were ready to head to the locker room, but the officials gave them new life with that spot call and the Raiders made the most of the opportunity
i know it would never happen kuz of kap space and most likely kuz of A.B or just the receivers in general kuz of the targets they would want but to think of the players we have had since 2017-2018 and to have had them all on the same team would have been kool as hell and fun to see if they were to have made it work... he did pretty solid with New Orleans and then he fumbled against the buccaneers in the 2020 divisional round which completely changed the momentum. saints didn't score at all after that.
The refs definitely robbed the Browns on that 3rd down play, that was easily a first down. Of course it’s teams like the Browns that are always on the wrong end of officiating although of course nobody gets it as bad as the Lions do
@@lakerskid2013 can’t argue that at all. At the end of the day coaching was terrible, Carlos had 22 carries and Chubb had i think 3 rushes 102 yards and 2 tds. Made no sense
Damn this was the last year we played in Oakland huh . This was dope ass game . We barely won in over time . Shit Baker was the QB for the browns huh ?
You know you’re getting old when 2018 is now considered a throwback 😢😢😢
Feels like 2 years ago
Year steelers got robbed of 2 games
I wasn't even watching football in 2018 and most of the 2019 season
I was in grade 12 when this game took place lmao
The Pandemic made 2020-2024 fly by.
Wow just seeing all the players. This is such a throwback for my at my young age
🎉 😂 how about BBB with Browns"? They called out GIcK😅🎉
Now both QBs are succeeding on different squads

Agreed. I have lots of childhood memories from there. I was at the last Raider game in Oakland. I miss it so much.
Soccer team is going to play there and Arena is still in really good shape still going to hold events for a long time.

I miss the raiders baseball/football field for the first half of seasons while the A’s were still playing
Damn I MISS Oakland…
Me too bro 😔
Ain't nothing like it. I remember going there numerous times. Opposing fans were literally scared to go
I was at that game! I took my daughter. Heck of a game to show her a raiders game. She loved it!
2010s are becoming an old clip now. Wow
Probably in honor of A's last game in that stadium this week
Anyone else wish the Raiders got a new stadium in Oakland?
No good thing that Las Vegas has a team
@roblopilot True, but the Raiders’ true home will forever be Oakland
@@LiamDeege Facts!
They should have simply spent their own money to build one
@@STP43FAN1With what money?

They didn't treat Mayfield right in the end, especially in 2021, when they kept playing him through that shoulder injury

Wild indeed 😊, if you're a Raiders fan. Just Win Baby!!!
Not much win for for the Raiders since 2003 😂
Haven’t won since 2002
Hot take: afc games belong on cbs. Nfc games belong on fox
That is true but they normally do that for playoffs

I remember this game, Chubb went crazy and the Raiders unfortunately won after a ot game kicking field goal 😂
Carr and Gruden were cookin
It’s actually crazy how close the browns were to starting 1-1-2

why the hell did the Browns punt on 4th and INCHES with the Raiders having just used their final timeout????

Moment Amari Cooper realized he needs to go to Dallas lol
His *”Revenge Game”* fell short. 🤣🤣🤣😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
I Remember This Game In Oakland Like It Was Yesterday
This game had 38 total possessions while last night's Commanders-Bengals game only had 15.
Twilight zone statistic😮hard to comprehend

I remember being at this game and seeing so many brown fans leaving early laughing at us😂 but it was us who had the last laugh RAAAIIIIDERRRRSS!!!

new stadium we not be ready til 2028…A’s will play in Sacramento until stadium is ready in Vegas.

The game that costed us from drafting nick bosa 🤦🏻♂️

Bro I’m surprised Carr ain’t throw hands after that first play when the receiver broke inside😭
They hate the raiders so much dean blandino says the nose hit the 21 yard line wtf are you looking at guy?!
Marshawn Lynch wasn't down earlier, but officials made a terrible call. Lynch was rightfully upset. They were terrible all day.
Real cool
Ik I’m getting old when I see Mike Davis as My RB
Oakland Raiders 🥹
This is the game everyone found out Nick Chubb is HIM. Hue Jackson PURPOSELY only gave him 3 touches……105 yards 2TDs 🤯
I like this field better
