Bonzer (bonza) - means excellent, first rate, high praise. This accolade was first used in the early 1900s. Your grandfather is a hard worker & doing a remarkable job!
Thank you for sharing. I have been following from the beginning and never fail to enjoy every episode I have seen. Most of all, I truly appreciate the generosity with which you share your knowledge and skill. Cheers.
Hi Phil,Jabiru is looking fantastic. I’m just so grateful that our craft person like you got hold of Jabiru and not just to budget up and get it back in the water. Keep up the good work. I really enjoy your videos and how patient you are doing the job , Cliff from Logan City Queensland Australia 🇦🇺
Thanks Phil I love restoring things this will be a great heirloom. I restored and modified the airstream in my icon a 63 ambassador. it took 3-4 years but worth the work and wait.
As an 80 year old Pom I am well aware of the term Bonza…. Btw never been to Oz but went to school with many Australians. That was hard work sanding that hill!! Good on ya!
Keep a close eye on gramps! Watch every move and understand why he is doing what he is doing! It's not because it's easy. His satisfaction is not what he see's, it's knowing it came from his hands. Be interested in what your hands can do. Let your mind guide you. Learn and test yourself and life will never be boring.
have been looking forward to this video looking great and await the turning again and then all the cabin work ,did you have a rheostat to slow down the angle grinder,
With the inline sander I had to be careful about how oil it received as too much caused it to splatter everywhere. It was the most usefull for taking off a lot of material. The crossed disc was great for initail lump removal, but always got hot enought to block up the paper. The ordinary orbital sander was very good follow by the long board. You might notice I shotrened if quite soon after starting as it gave me sore shoulder.
Just a financial hint. I find velcro a ridiculous expense. The factory sheets cost lots and the 100mm x 1000mm pieces are pricey. Spray on contact is far cheaper.
I thouight about that and the time used up in waitying fior glue to dry ,ade me go with the velcro. Once the money is spent, it become forgotten and painless.
Greetings from Iroquois ON Canada. Am I ever glad to see I'm not alone stuck in the almost endless cycle of filling and fairing then doing it all over again. Cheers mate! Rick & Lori @mvshekon

Boat is looking good. What’s your verdict on the modified sanders which one worked the best, any further changes you would make? 👍

Bonza is an Australian colloquial term. Really lovely term for something done well or a compliment. A bit like toodleloo and many others lovely terms.
You can tell Joss didn't believe me.
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Thank you. Good to be finished that part.
I'm doing a very similar thing right now.
You'll be pleased when it ends.

Old horses just keep plodding along, on foot after the other.

Bonza isn’t a real word in Nova Scotia, Canada. My grandfather here in Nova Scotia would say that you are a good little nubbin.🇨🇦
Joss wouldn't know that one either.
