This series has a lot to explain so i figured id just right this here. There are sooo many devils in this universe and humans can use a devils power thru a CONTRACT which is a deal between humans and devils. So Denji has a contract that saved his life and him and pochita live in unision hes called a hybrid.
Hybrid= Half Human/ Half Devil
Fiend= Devil in a CORPSE (So powers body is a dead human)
Regular Contract= Humans using devil power ex: characters like Aki.
This show has so many direct references to Evangelion its almost absurd... the shot of denji choosing boobs is literally in the Evangelion opening... Whoever made this is definitely a super fan
