For those of you who are wondering about the pandas. China control the entire monopoly to pandas. There are no pandas (the black and white one) that is owned by any other person or country other than China. There are pandas in zoos of different countries but those are lent to them for a certain period of time for a certain price. If the pandas produce an offspring outside of China, the offsprings would legally be China's panda. The babies would have to return to China unless the country makes a new contract to sorta rent that baby panda as well. The pandas can also be used as a political tool where, countries that are friendly to China can pay for a cheaper price but countries that China dislike wouldn't be able to rent the pandas.

Honestly Dub is so much easier for adults who didn't grow up with Sub to get into. Especially when watching with other people. If too much is new all at once and focus is being split people tend not to get into new things.
Also the dub is legitimately great for JJK. People just usually prefer what they hear first. I can't stand the Sub for Hunter x Hunter because I watched like 100 episodes in English first. It doesn't mean the Sub is bad.
This lol. I watched JJK dubbed for the first time and even after rewatching season 1 in subbed, I still prefer dub lol. People like to say dub is crap but I really disagree in this case. I thought it was pretty great. Maybe that's because I'm a bit biased since I watched dub first but I really don't see anything wrong with it.

To those who complain about it being dubbed and not subbed,
Imagine watching a reaction of someone's mom to an anime and complaining about it being dubbed instead of subbed. Imagine having enough time to care about how someone else watches a show that you chose to watch them react to. It must suck being you. Get a life, weeb.
If you want to gatekeep go somewhere else. imagine if neither subbed nor dubbed versions existed. Imagine how you would feel not understanding what's going on. That's why translations to other languages exist. Imagine downloading a video game and the only available language for voices is German. Would you keep it in German and just have subtitles if there was an English translation for the voices? We all know the answer is no. You would not keep it in German. So, what's the difference between that and this situation? Is it because you want to be Japanese? It's ridiculous to be hurt by something that has no direct relevance to your culture.
The majority of people who complain about this are not Japanese and have no reason to dictate how others should watch a show. Personal preferences are just that - personal. They don't apply to everyone else. If you don't like it, go somewhere else. If you don't want to do that, then deal with it, you little gatekeepers of something that is not even a significant part of many of your cultures.

Your attention is split between watching the scene and the subtitles, only giving 50/50 attention where in dub you are looking at the scene and listening to the dub.

The "cringe" is translated from the Japanese version so... Japanese voice actors are trained to be very dramatic similar to western theater actors. Dub actors literally just follow that lead set by the Japanese actors.

The English dubs fine, I’ve prefer English dub, it be easier for her and me to follow, if she has any questions you can answer them in reason.
