The v1 was my 3rd rc plane almost 2 years ago. I still have it and it flys amazing. Great video! A suggestion though. Fly it on a 3s 1000mah. I swear it won't burn up lol that's honestly all I've flown mine on. But the flight is beyond amazing! Cheers!
With the V1 yes you can just fly it on 3s. These newer fms 800mm have higher KV motors and some like the F4u use 4 bladed props instead of 3 in V1 version, so these need to be taken into consideration. Best to use a watt meter first to measure amp draw at 50 percent throttle before going 3s on the newer versions.

RC T-28’s are so hilarious, because the models are like “cute little puppy dog planes”, while the real deal is like “GOLIATHAN BRUTE OF A BRUISER MONSTER PLANE”.
No. When I use Stabilised (not a great name for that mode) it limits the bank and pitch rate and basically will not allow you to go inverted. If you use Optimised mode it reduces the affects of wind and has no limits on how you fly. If configured to change the mode via a 3 position switch you can also turn Reflex off.
It could IF the plane was same type I think. Reflex can only be set to different pre-configured setups for FMS models via the provided USB lead and a desktop PC App. If you have another fixed wing warbird then I suspect the Reflex setup for the T-28 would work.
@@EssentialRC I'm getting the fms corsair 800mm which comes with the same reflex V2 gyro as the T-28. I just wondered how do you setup the setting in the tx16s? Do u have to do your own mixing or setup in the transmitter?
@@TanLyeSiong Well, yes. You need to setup a model on your TX16S and bind to the receiver you are using in the model. Recommend you search on RUclips for basic guide on how to setup a model with EdgeTX.

Even if the motor was 3S capable it would be a problem squeezing it into the slot far enough to get CG without cutting some foam.

Landing ? The ground was a lil bit high, grass was OK.
Did he test the roll limit in stabilized mode anywhere ?
Reflex v2 limits roll to 30 to 40 degrees in Stabilised and prevents roll to inverted. Hope that helps.
