A majority of fans believe that XD there's a famous pic on the internet of Laharl in a maid outfit that's portrayed as the polaroid/picture mentioned in game. It all adds up. I mean, dudes have experimented with woman's clothing before, and yet they still identify as heterosexuals, at least some in my opinion. Considering the feelings and deep concern Laharl feels for Flonne, such as jumping in lava to get her pendent, we can guess he's heterosexual as well, also knowing that he has awkwardness towards sexy women, seen here, and not sexy men, as he has no reaction to Midboss (let's assume we consider him sexy, because, hey, I'm sure he's made some fangirls stir in their pants). As for reasoning... I guess he wanted to know how it felt. Is it comfortable? Is it itchy? Is it too tight? Is it too loose? Does it feel nice to wear it? Or is it really embarrassing for the female servants to wear this (where else would he get one? He's not gonna go buy one!)? His curiosity got the best of him, and Flonne is surprised to know Laharl tried this. Possibly multiple times. We all have our secrets, and if it's hurting nobody, it's fine to keep it to yourself.

It's called "Enemy Inside of Me". It only plays in the PS2 version.
They had to remove it from the PSP and DS versions, due to copyright, I think.
