Maybe instead of everything depending on capital the capital can very slowly produce troops and you need to take all the yellow dots to win, so not everything is based on getting a quick guy behind lines
I like it so far, and am looking forward to future versions. I only have two ideas that might be helpful: 1. The curved path option only seems to select one unit at a time. If a group could be given a curved path order, it could open up more complex tactical options for the players. 2. As you add more buttons to choose between, hotkeys would become more useful by allowing quicker execution of the players' intent by letting them keep the mouse on the map instead of repeatedly returning to the lower bar. If you think those are good ideas. I'm happy to help.
its a great update it'll probably help the player alot in making strategies [i also like the fact that even after making your command the arrows stay until they reach the specific place itll help players alot in remembering what command they gave to the soldier]
This is great. I am also impressed how many comments you actually respond to. My only ideas are maybe make it where you can have even more than 2 players. That way you could make alliances and stuff. This game actually Looks Great! So. I want to show you my Concepts for this game. From more obvious to less obvious. 1: Add different type of units like Tanks, Fighters, Bombers, APCs, IFVs etc. Tey'll have buffs and debuffs against certain units. Also they'll have bufss and debuffs for Terrain 1.5: More maps, Sea, Bigger maps, Moon (Important for concept 4) 2: Technology Tree. With Tech tree you can upgrade your units and unlock new ones (Like APCs and IFVs). Also it'll be divided in Tiers (example: You're on Tier one but you want to focus on upgrading Infantry, if you try to research Tier 2 technology while being at Tier 1 it'll take a lot more time than to research techs and only then upgrade to Tier 2. Also if you're on Tier 2 or higher you can research Previous Tier techs faster) 3: WoMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction). I think... I don't need to explain this 3.5: Espionage. You can't see what enemy's doing, how big his economy exactly is etc 4: Space Techs. You can Launch spy Sattelites... and... Spy on other players. Rods From God: WoMD that uses Kinetic Energy. Moon Base (Late game): You'll get research bonuses and a lil bit of other buffs to other things. Asteroid Mines: You can make resources out of this👍! 5: Parties. (Like Commie and Democracy) They give you Different buffs and debuffs, depends on the party you have in your country. And for the last one: HELICOPTER HELICOPTER (Copter Copter Copter Copter)
Hey man (or woman) I'm absolutely loving it, I am literally enjoying just the little dots moved around and I have a few suggestions for late use and current use. 1. Depending on what time frame you placed this is you could make separate and different maps with different biomes and different effects. 2. You could make each unit have a specific commander with their own personality and their face or uniform put up on the unit and have their Face act as that units command. 3. Make it to where you can see the action from a top view looking down on something like a ww1 trench system or a medieval shieldwall. Thats it or now, I'm loving the work as I study tactics and would love to use it as a fun way to help teenage and soon to be college me study.

this is awesome!! one suggestion tho is you should make bridges instead of letting people cross rivers but slowly you should also add surrenders for troops and they join the opponent if they are in an extremely bad position ( seperated from mainland and the enemy troops that are very close to the frontlines of that sort of exclave are more than double of the troops inside that exclave)

The game is great! Suggestion: Make diffrent types of troops like tanks which could be stronger and faster. (Also the attacking annimations could be a little smoother and i noticed the hitboxes are a little larger then rhe sots at least i think they are) also maybe add something like building forts or strongpoints which are hard to capture
I love this game! I could totally see myself raging after losing for the 50th time but thats how you know you like a game. Will there be maps based of real places like Normandy or Kherson? Also will there be artillery?
Someone is helping me by creating a real map, so this is something I’ll add in the future. Map of Normandy is probably unsuitable for this game and same with Kherson. Artillery will be added in the future.
Game looking great, can't wait for different kinds of units to be introduced (To nerf quick-moving units a little, you could make it so there is a delay between them moving into territory and capturing it, with them being unable to move and weaker in fight if they spend too long in uncaptured territory. Kinda simulating the problem of logistics failing to catch up with an army that advances quickly).
This is the strategy game I wanted, it has so much potential to exploit, like more maps, bigger battles, types of troops. Or even historical (and fictional) battles!

Fog of War would be awesome to prevent snaking to the capital. Also offensives could be set up to attack the enemy without him noticing until its too late
You should add troop training or Troop experiences based on war to add more benefits expect for Unit types like tanks Also a researching tab for Tank/ Gun factories (Maybe another benefit?)
Interesting game. Is it gonna be modern combat or medieval setting? You could add something like specialised troops such as: Jäger (forest specialists), Alpini (mountaineers), marines (river specialist) and special engineers (fortification, strongholds, bridges...). However, specialised troops should be much more expensive/limited for balance
Idea: have some reserve troops that are scattered behind the front lines who would serve as help against enemy break through s, and maybe add a mobilization mechanic to call more troops to the fight if it's losing
@@TeaAndPython propose to make the forests and mountains unsuitable, and the plains available for development, and in addition. This will change the front depending on how the factories are placed; in cities it will not be so varied :)

Tanks will move slower through the forests, but not infantry
I have another suggestion, I think having Habors/Crossings at sea side cities to get to the other side of the lake/River or have D-Day like invasions
Perhaps include the mechanics mentioned in the play by play analysis and make pusging the front a bit easier for more fluid frontlines

I would add bridges to get through the river, allowing the enemy to react to breakthroughs if it occurs.

Make the capital spawn 2 divisions when an enemy is close, so a battle for the capital is forced

So grey is mountain? If you are above the enemy, you get a bonus? What does happen in the woods ? (Green are woods?)

You should add an attack bubble like in hoi4 so you know which fronts are winning and losing
