EDIT: Mavado has been stealth-nerfed meaning he does a lot less damage now, so the damage numbers in video aren’t accurate anymore unfortunately! Just gonna add this before anyone points it out: Yes, you can cancel DB4's animation with neutral assist HOWEVER, it scales a lot which doesn't make it very worth it. Go for the BF4 OTG option/animation cancel with neutral assist! It scales way better :) Anyways I hope this helps get you started with this time, they're a lot of fun!
Yeah Mavado is cool but that 800 HP is not worth it. I've tried to take him online and I did have some success, but once you're in the corner Mavado or Quan has nothing to get you out and just like that your life is gone in like 2 combos ( sometimes even one )
For characters like Johnny or even Nitara there’s potential for an aggressive approach but Quan Chi is too meter dependent and requires distance to effectively deal damage. He’s better off with Jax or even Tremor, at least his summon assists, forward Kameo, are somewhat safe.
