- We're back in Fender territory! Today we're featuring a beautiful and totally original 1951 Fender 'Nocaster', and this one is almost too clean to play! This one recently made its way back into the shop and it surely does not disappoint - a set of strong and great sounding pickups, a fantastically playable neck, and of course the pristine finish makes for a top notch collectible guitar. Today we paired it up with an awesome 1962 Fender Super Amp, a great 40w 2x10 combo that nails the Fender tones we love, especially with this guitar in the hands of our friend Dan Phelps!
We'll have these two pieces on our site as soon as possible.

So glad that I finally found ONE vintage Fender T-guitar demo where the demonstrator plays the guitar with the bridge plate still on. I've always wanted to hear what that actually sounds like.
*in the most endearing dad voice* "We all love the Nocaster"
Yes, we certainly do love this Nocaster and I'm a Strat guy
I need to win the lottery and then make a pilgrimage to your store what an absolute treat that would be
How nice is this!?!! So clean for being so old and rare!sounds killer!this one was way ahead of its time.
gorgeous. that amp sounds incredible.
Sounds and looks 10/10
Wow another holy grail amazing
*slaps the roof of gator case
*you can fit so much tone in this bad boy*
I'll take the Brown Super over the Nocaster - one of the nicest amps of all time.
Oh my goodness! It practically looks brand new!
I have a 2003 Custom Shop '51 Nocaster that I love. I'm also carefully restoring a 1962 Super Amp that had a few hacks over the years. I'm determined to get it back to its original glory, so this video was very enjoyable!
Some day, it would be cool to have a Tele that looked like this, new, used, vintage or whatever.
That Super is ACE! Love the Tone of that amp!
😳 it's in phenomenal condition. Still looks brand new. Someone bought it, never learned how to play, and put it under their bed for nearly 70 years. What a gem. I've seen 1 in my time, poor condition, about a 3.5, very rough for $2500.
Amazing combination. And the playing was stellar. Just beautiful.
Cheers
Sounds amazing with that amp. Wow.
My goodness, what a glorious sound! Interesting switching on these early models.
God, that sounds so good!
great playing!
This is one of the ONLY videos I've found where the presenter plays a vintage Fender Broad/No/Telecaster with the bridge plate on, as was initially intended. To my ears, it gives the bridge pickup a slightly bassier, more dynamic sound.
very Roy Buchanon like .....awesome tones...
DAMN
More rare than the burst by a long shot
I'll take it if I had 20 kidneys to sell on the black market. .
wow
Hi! Notable users of Super amp?!? Thanks!!! 🙏
Me! Lol...
You almost lost all us mere players when you said " provenance"...🤔
I mean.. none of us mere players can afford *any* of the guitars they demo. Lol
Provenance or not, it's still a minty Nocaster.
@@clicheguevara5282 you have my undying respect for what may be the greatest RUclips name EVER!! I'm honored to meet you, Sr. Guevara, and yes, I'm also here to gawk at gear I'll never be able to own.
Not the perfect weight but besides that I agree
"We all love the Nocaster", no "we" don't; Tele's are ugly, and the old one's are insanely overpriced. I'd love having the amp, though.
