Virgin Voyages Dominican Daze Cruise | Puerto Plata, Bob gets a tattoo & Scarlet Night!

- Day 3 of our Virgin Voyages Dominican Daze cruise on the Scarlet Lady. Today we dock in Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic. We spent all of our time at Taino Bay, which is a dedicated cruise "village" built specifically for cruise passengers docked there. The pools and lazy river are free to use.
After we get back on the ship we have dinner at Gunbae and then it's time for Scarlet Night, which is always an amazing party.

What awesome day!! Puerto Plata looked very pretty and it’s great the chairs don’t cost extra. I LOVE your balcony as it’s a great size for entertaining with friends. That stinks your dinner was “not all that”. Scarlet Night looked like a blast and you two looked fabulous 👍🏻👍🏻
It was really nice that the Taino Bay Area was there for us to hang out. We really didn’t have anything in town we needed to see, it was really nice to get to hang out in the pool. We kind of knew going into Gunbae it wasn’t going to be our favorite, it’s just not our style but we are glad we tried it. Thanks so much! It’s fun to get dressed up now and then ☺️
Puerto Plata looks nice. The pool area is lovely. I would have to get a fruity drink and sit out there for a good while. It is cool that they built a "cruise village" just for passengers to enjoy. The entertainment with the acrobats looked really fun. They got a tattoo shop on the cruise ship? They got everything on there. Scarlet Night always looks like such an epic party in your videos. Thanks for taking us along for the party!
We really enjoyed Taino Bay in Puerto Plata. I’m not always comfortable in Carribean towns getting barraged with people trying to sell me a sombrero so I felt very safe there. It does seem that they do have everything on the cruise ship hahaha 😆

We thought Taino Bay was awesome! There was plenty to do there without having to go out into town. Jon with the champagne cracked me up! Good thing we had a roof on the balcony haha!
I’m so glad Jon and bob were able to get their tattoos, it’s a very cool souvenir from the trip.

Soooo fun!! 🤩 The docking place (I’m sorry I don’t know how to spell it lol 😂) looked beautiful and I love that it’s doesn’t cost extra for chairs etc.
The restaurant looked fun but sad to hear it was eeehhhh. So far it’s the only one y’all haven’t loved so that says a lot for the others you have tried.

It was really nice to have Taino Bay to hang out in and not have vendors try to sell you stuff you don’t want. We are glad we tried Gunbae and it was fun, just not our favorite. Scarlett night is such a vibe! We loved every minute of it! ✨❤️

It was a really great day! Yes! Tattoo spots fill up quick but it’s super fun that you can do that on the ship! We loved every minute of that day 😃
