Every Time Infernal devices get mentioned I low key die inside FEELS. This episode is my favourite by far mostly because Jace has finally joined the show
ThisSickBOOK Hello fellas! Can one of you lovely people explain to me how the book series works?! Are there multiple series that intertwine with each other? Is there one series with multiple books that are kinda part of 'chapters'...as you can tell, I am quite confused! Thanks in advance 😊!
Andreea Potra In simple terms, the mortal instruments are the main 6 books the show is primarily based off, the infernal devices are a prequel and the dark artifices are a sequel. (although only one of these books has been released so far) however, there is the Bane chronicles, the codex and the shadowhunters academy series which are all fairly interesting but are not essential to the main plot line. Some of these i have not read yet myself so i can't go into detail but i hope this helps :)
Andreea Potra here's the order to read the books. City of Bones, mortal instruments City of Ashes, mortal instruments City of Glass, Mortal instruments Clockwork prince, Infernal Devices City of Lost Souls, Mortal instruments Clockwork Angel, Infernal Devices City of Heavenly Fire, mortal instruments Clockwork Princess, Infernal devices yes, two intertwining. then theirs other books that you should also read in this order after: The Bane Chronicles The Shadowhunters Codex Shadowhunter Academy Lady Midnight
When they mentioned Jem, I nearly died of happiness And when Angel Ethereal was brought in, it made me so excited. Can we have a Infernal Devices season???
Freeform doesn't own the rights to The Infernal Devices and I hope they never do! lol. I'm enjoying Shadowhunters quite a bit, especially this season but if TID ever gets a TV adaptation I don't want it to be on Freeform because I want it to be more than enjoyable...I want it to be epic!! :)
It's Ithuriel. Anyhow, I hope that they don't even touch The Infernal Devices. It is such a masterpiece and it would be a shame if it got ruined by bad dialogues and acting.
MajorNerd I totally agree with you and Erika Gallant! To me, The Infernal Devices is a masterpiece and I don't want it to be adapted into a TV show....at least not if it's like this show. I like Shadowhunters but if they ever did TID I would want everything to be the right way - like as petty as I am - I wouldn't be able to handle a Will without blue eyes, or Jem without his silver hair. I would want the snark from Jessamine to be on point and I would want Will to be just as sarcastic as he is in the books. And I wouldn't want them to cast a Charlotte who's way older than she's supposed to be bc some producer saw it more fitting that "motherly" Charlotte should be older than 23 y/o like she is in the books - *just no*!
AJ N You are right, but I kinda wanna see more TID related stuff so maybe a show wouldn't be that bad. And if it actually is then we will all yell at our screens together and reread the books;)
The shape shifting rune makes things way too easy on the show. I hope the writers figure out a way to use it as little as possible or phase it out of the show
I am not mad about the shapeshifting rune this time because it wasn't used in a really big way like in previous episodes. These new writters/show runners are doing a waayy much better job.
Jlanders México I disliked that at first. But I realized that even if val wasn't showing his crazy love for jocelyn like whats been shown in the books, it still made sense. I mean the show, i think, just wanted to change that kind of emotion that val had with jocelyn in the books
True, but I still think he should've showed some emotions...this made it seem like it was just casual Tuesday in Valentine's mind...she was his wife =/
when Jace was the Jace of the book a was so shocked I almost cry. But i recovered and started to laugh SO HARD ajhgvbahaba I love it. it was an A to me. PS: I love your eyes.
The moment when Cleophas and Valentine are talking and he's like "why didn't you search for me after my death" or something was sooo goblet of fire in the cementery
I agree about the scenes in the books that are seen in the show. When I see scenes from the book on the screen it just...I don't even know how to describe it. It makes me want to re-read the series again. I loved that Jace was a ladies man and getting snarky, I notice a huge difference between season 1 and 2 and I like it.
Me too! Its hard to describe my love for the books and any time the show brings things up I literally cannot sit still and I need to talk to someone but nobody I know reads them. Gosh, I should really read them again. lol
Megan Herondale yeah this season Jace is in a different place emotionally so it makes sense for him to be in a place where he is acting that way. I love the way they're threading things from the books through the show. Because by now we all need to accept knowing it won't be the same, that's what makes the little 'easter eggs' and scenes they add specifically from the books that much more exciting
I'm so happy that they're finally getting Jace's personality right! The scenes with Jace and Maia are so *good*! And scenes with Jace and Simon really show his snark and sarcasm..
That line Magnus said about Jem ALMOST dying is such a huge spoiler for people who haven't read the Infernal Devices. Anybody who watched that and was planning to read that trilogy was total robbed of the heart shattering moments in Clockwork Princess. Btw I love your videos!!
Honestly I know that the books are amazing but I am a hardcore show fan I started the show one night and am soooo addicted to the show it is just soo amazing it was the first thing I watched in the mortal instruments so it will away have a special place in my heart
I cried so hard because of how Valentine was treating the Angel. It was so sad. But I'm glad that they're talking more about Clary's powers!! It's exciting.
Giuliana me too! I know some ppl were not happy with his name being mentioned and I get it bc it reveals a lot for ppl who haven't read the books - which is why I think everyone should just read them :P
Your videos make me feel like Im not the only one out there who is as obsessed with the show. I literally cant wait to see this every week cause its like someone who I can finally agree and feel like part of the fandom. Keep doing them please because I absolutely love your channel and your personality is amazing as well!!!!
I think the angel was only crying out to Clary, I think he projected that cry into her mind and her alone. Cleophas could only hear it when she used a hearing rune, same probably goes for Jace and everyone else, Ithuriel probably didn't call out to Jace, just Clary.
jace is getting a silent treatment, the angel is like "I am mega pissed at you jace, therefore I am not talking to you, you are now exiled from my mind until you finally get rid of that seelie. Ithuriel, OUT BITCHES"
My favourite part was when Jace wasn't going to come with Luke because he thought Alec sent him but then as soon as Luke said that Clary's in trouble Jace freaked out, got up and went running out of there!!!!!!!!! OMFG! CLACE!!!!!!
I'm really curious if they are going to try and bring actual infernal devices characters into the show, since they are taking things from that series like the yin fen. Magnus mentioned both Tessa and now Jem by name
freeleigh i am just concerned how they will explain Tessa's abilities then, because i mean in the book shape shifting is something very special and only Tessa can do it and it is very hard
Thayna Lambert - L. Maybe because jace has not been acting "pure" and I don't mean sexual things at all, just jace thinking he is a bad person and being so confident that he has demon blood run through his body? That's the only way I could explain it
My favourite line was when Mia gave Jace his shots and said 'I spit in one of them' 😂😂 I was really upset when they didn't do the book flashbacks because I was so ready for it, knowing the episode was leading up to a meeting with Ithuriel. That scene is so important to the Clace relationship and Jace's resolve so when they showed a different vision to the whole demon/angel blood book flashes I was frustrated as I'd loved the rest of the episode. As always, love the reviews 👍
I am scared for Monday's episode. Max will have his rune ceremony, and given how they are brining "Infernal Devices" things to the table, I am scared Max will die like the girl on the first chapter of Clockwork Princess ;-;
I know! I hope he doesn't die like this if my fear is well, not wrong (and I hope it's wrong xD) It would be so much better if it was like in City of Glass, and like you said, it would give the sow a good moment
Celestino Vela of course he Is not gonna die, but there Is still a posibility cause we had seen jocelyn die way to fast. in this show anything can happen
This was by far my fav episode!! I just loved all the conversations the characters had with each other! they should definitely put more focus on those little moments! btw I'm reading Shadowhunter academy right now, and if it wasn't for you I would have stoppedXD so thank you!! It's getting awesome right now!!
Super happy i started to watch these videos. Once you spoke about yen fin and how it was in the infernal devices, I rushed to read the last books that I still needed to finish. Super excited I won't get any spoilers for the books now. 😀
I was so excited when they brought in the angel and how before Luke's sister was saying only the "blessed" could hear it's cries. Mostly because I thought then when jace and clary got close to the Angel they would both hear it's cries and then that could foreshadow jace also being blessed with Angel blood. Then they could spend the next episode trying to find out what it all meant and maybe their was another child Valentine experimented with (Jonathan) and then it could've made a full circle. I feel like that would have been a better plot idea because now I have no idea how they will bring all of that in.
How did you guys feel about Malec this episode? I think that Alec coming on to Magnus for sex was kinda off. I would be disappointed if they did it. Why? Because they showed Jace having sex with a random naked girl and they didn't show Malec's sex scene. Its 2017. Whats wrong with two men together in bed?
Malec was perfect this episode! I dont't think they actually had sex, but if they did, I wouldn't be surprised (a 22-23 y/o virgin newly out of the closet and with the hottest boyfriend ever). them not showing them.... i really dgaf. showing them in bed would add nothing to the trama/story ark like Jace's did.
Jose Rodriguez it's not about them not showing it, it's about the equality, and the way it would be completely rushed and pushed to the side like 'okay now we've got that thing out of the way what next'
xoxox2418 they're actors. It's their job. It's no different than any other scene they have to portray. It's shit you suggesting that it's any different to other scenes they have to film. If it's in the script they do it. Both have filmed sex scenes before, you shouldn't act like it's such a uncomfortable thing for them to do, just because it's with another guy
Jace means so much to me in the books, and I love those Jace and Simon moments so much cuz, u know, they're freaking hilarious. Watching this episode where the characters, especially Jace, felt soo much like the characters made me so happy!
I loved Jace in this episode! He was so saracastic and the scenes with Simon were brilliant. I love how he is being so Jace and being all high and mighty and being a ladies man but the second Luke comes in and says Clary is in trouble, Jace is up and out the door so fast! I loved it!
I'm actually really pleased with where the direction of this show is going. The writers are making it accessible for people that haven't read the books but they're also giving the people who read the books moments of goodness. Overall I'm really happy this show is finally where it needs to be☺️
This show is awesome it's getting so much better and even if it's different than the books I love the twists that keep me, who read the books, guessing.
The JIMON scene was my fave by far! It felt so much like something straight out of the books and I was at work and almost dying of laughter it was too good 👏🏻
I swear when Jace used the shapeshifting rune I was like "Christine is gonna be SO mad" lol. I am one of those people who haven't read the books but I feel obligated now that you said it like that. The sad thing is that I am a very slow reader and I am studying for finals so it's kind of impossible for me to read the books right now.
When jace used the shapefting it made me realize that they really gonna make that other guy be Sebastian cause it was kind of a reminder that this rune is still in the show even though they changed the writers and it is probably going to be used again, but I doubt it will be used a lot after the big Sebastian reveal cause the new writers are only sticking to the shapeshifting rune because they got stuck with it from the previous writers that obviously had the ideia of that guy being Sebastian so they basically have to finish the job now
OK Christine good way to start the video. Now I am afraid to look into the comments, cause of the part of the fandom who will for sure give you shit about the book vs. show comments :D Even if I agree. BTW I said the same thing in my review about Ithuriel, he should have looked more angelic also agree on Jace, the best Jace episode so far hahaha. It was everything. Can I just admit I ship Simon and Maia in the show hahaha they have such a good chemisty hahaha #Saia.
I love your enthusiasm when you talk about the books. You're so passionate about them and I also felt like this episode was much better, like Jace FINALLY sounded like the Jace we know from the books! I literally DIED when he said "dazzle me". (And I also loved that Simon repeats it when Jace goes off to flirt with the blond girl after using the shapeshifting rune.) I haven't read the Infernal Devices trilogy yet and I was getting worried about them mentioning Jem and yin fen. I understood that it's a major plot point in the series and now i'm really worried i'm going to get spoiled if I continue to watch the show... I think i'll take your advice and read the books before watching the rest of the season. Even though i'm sad I have to stop watching the show, I don't want to risk getting spoiled. That's probably one of the things I hate the most about the show, the fact that they just mix all the books together.
I literally screamed when Magnus mentioned Jem because I was so excited but thinking about it now I think they should just allude to stuff like that like Cassie does in the books because it still makes book fans really happy but doesn't spoil people ya know. But I actually really liked this episode because it made sense and other ones are just like a random mess where I can't keep track of what's happening because none of it connects. Also, once again great review!!
damn... absolutely do not agree that that the books are better! I think that the show is taking CC's idea and bringing up to a whole new level of good!!!
past 2 episodes have been better than ALL OF THE OTHER EPISODES put together. honestly I can finally start to hope for this show tho. also I was soooo CHEERING for Ithuriel when he flew away! I was like YAS LITTLE BABY! FLY! BE FREEE
Did anyone pick up on Valentine's speech about how all of the circle members are traitors and how none of the went looking for him, they'd all thought he'd died.... I mean that was practically identical to Voldemort's speech in Goblet of Fire. And how apparently you can activate your circle rune, it basically works like the Dark mark.
Which is your all time favorite Couple? You have to pick one! Also I have read and reread and rereread the books over and over. Its amazing! Also did you ever watch the mortal insturments:city of bones movie if so, did you like the movie and wish they kept up on the movies or do you prefer the show? NEED ANSWERS!!!!! Love ya girl!
Hello fellas! Can one of you lovely people explain to me how the book series works?! Are there multiple series that intertwine with each other? Is there one series with multiple books that are kinda part of 'chapters'...as you can tell, I am quite confused! Thanks in advance 😊!
The main book series is The Mortal Instruments, but then there is also the Infernal Devices trilogy which is sort of a spin off? But it's a great series on its own and it's chronologically set before the Mortal Instruments. Then there are also the tales from Shadowhunter Academy which add more background stories for certain characters and continue the story post Mortal Instruments. There is one book called the Bane Chronicles which is also more or less background information about Magnus. Finally, there is the new series, the Dark Artifices, which is not fully out yet and it's also about post Mortal Instruments. I hope I didn't miss anything, and I hope this is somewhat helpful to you :)
I wasn't a fan of the first season so I decided to give this season a miss but can anyone tell me if this season is better without spoiling thanks. Also I didn't read the books so my opinion is entirely based on the show.
when Jace and Simon were having their moment I was fangirling so hard and literally shouted THIS IS JACE when he said dazzle me, and also how fast he reacted when Luke told him it was about Clary #CLACE4EVER
Okay, I'm going to read these freaking books now😍 you made me feel like reading them now and I'm in the mood for reading❤️ bye, see you when I finished all books
Every Time Infernal devices get mentioned I low key die inside FEELS. This episode is my favourite by far mostly because Jace has finally joined the show
"Jace has finally joined the show" I LOVE how you worded that.
thatfictionlife haha quite true 😂
thatfictionlife SO TRUE
I AGREE 100%
As long as they don't use TID in a wrong context or mention something that's incorrect - I'm okay with them mentioning it!
The moment that the word "Jem" came out of Magnus's mouth I FLIPPED OUT. WHAT ARE YOU DOING WRITERS?!?
Emma LB yeh but they like totally ruined clockwork princess cause the like 'climax' is if Jem survived or not. Did fangirl over the mention though
Scrop Vail I know lol I was just surprised/happy/fangirly. Nothing wrong with it.
Emily Larkin Totally! I'm soo curious as to how they'll work in the story.
i almost cry
I started bawling when he mentioned Jem
All the gasps when Magnus mentioned Jem and when Ithuriel was revealed
I was so shook.

here's the order to read the books.
City of Bones, mortal instruments
City of Ashes, mortal instruments
City of Glass, Mortal instruments
Clockwork prince, Infernal Devices
City of Lost Souls, Mortal instruments
Clockwork Angel, Infernal Devices
City of Heavenly Fire, mortal instruments
Clockwork Princess, Infernal devices
yes, two intertwining. then theirs other books that you should also read in this order after:
The Bane Chronicles
The Shadowhunters Codex
Shadowhunter Academy
Lady Midnight
The show is getting better. And Jace is starting to act more like book Jace that all love.
I still think there's a lack of sarcasm, but anyways I hope we get there with the show ♥ I need the Herondale humor right now
Favorite scene
Maia: I spit in that shot
Jace: oooo, delicious, don't tease me
😂😂😂😂😂😂😭
A+ IMPROVISATION - ALISHA/MAIA IS KILLING IT
I'm just gonna say it but Maia and Jace have more chemistry than Clace =/
Jace and Simon's scene made me want to watch this show forever! BEST. SCENE. EVER!
I was dying of laughter during that scene! It was so good!
When they mentioned Jem, I nearly died of happiness
And when Angel Ethereal was brought in, it made me so excited.
Can we have a Infernal Devices season???
They could never capture Will's quick wit and sarcasm - they're only just getting Jace's personality XD

Honestly, I didn't think that shape shifting rune was THAT bad in this episode.
Harmonic Gem same it still annoys me that it exists but at least the way it was used made sense
true
Harmonic Gem it's definitely worse when they try to use it as a plot twist
The shape shifting rune makes things way too easy on the show. I hope the writers figure out a way to use it as little as possible or phase it out of the show
I am not mad about the shapeshifting rune this time because it wasn't used in a really big way like in previous episodes. These new writters/show runners are doing a waayy much better job.
I JUST REALLY REALLY DISLIKE THE FACT THAT VALENTINE NEVER EVEN REACTED TO JOCELYNE DYING. I CAN'T. WITH. THAT.
Jlanders México yeah I mean he loves her right? So why isn't he sad or something ?
I KNOW RIGHT? IT BOTHERS ME SOOOOOOO BAD! All we needed was one scene guys, just at least one scene and I would be satisfied. . .
Steph Piano I said the same thing! Valentine is supposed to still be in love with Jocelyn and he didnt even seem shocked or sad about her death!
Jlanders México I disliked that at first. But I realized that even if val wasn't showing his crazy love for jocelyn like whats been shown in the books, it still made sense. I mean the show, i think, just wanted to change that kind of emotion that val had with jocelyn in the books

Jaceeeee in this ep made me soooo happy. I was sitting there crying like omggggg it's jace. Like jace jace. Like my husband Jace yahhhhhhs
The moment when Cleophas and Valentine are talking and he's like "why didn't you search for me after my death" or something was sooo goblet of fire in the cementery
YES OMG I WAS ALSO GETTING A VOLDEMORT + DEATHEATERS VIBE WHEN HE SAID THAT
Cande Rizzo I had the SAME thought. It felt like the dialogue was exactly the same!
And that whole "why activate your circle mark" thing I DIED IT WAS SO HP I COULDN'T
sansa stark Heather Cilley - SpewYouVoldemort Steph Piano OMG I know, I craked up while watching it was so weird
Steph Piano
Trueeee
I screamed so loud when Magnus mentioned Jem and tbh that's probably why I've lost my voice

Btw I love your videos!!
THIS EPISODE WAS AMAZING and jaces face when Luke said clary is in danger was priceless
I look forward to these reviews every week. Thanks so much for your amazing videos.❤❤
Honestly, I accepted the shape shifting rune like the second time it was used. I think doing that made everything a lot more enjoyable.
Yeah it really wasn't as bad in this situation, it almost mocked it in my opinion
YES THE CLACE FIGHT SCENEEEEE!!!! I also thought the same about Clary taking two guys but Jace struggles 😂😂😂
Talia Da Silva ikr i was like jace what the hell is happening to you?
Talia Da Silva I love that fight scene
#GirlPower
And it was just like when Alec and Jace slew that demon in the very first episode . . . My eyes are suddenly wet . . .
I think Jace was still a little drunk. I mean really, how many shots had he had before going off to fight.
I had to pause, get up and fangirl during those Simon/Jace scenes too! This is my favourite episode so far!
THEY MENTIONED JEM!! Everything was perfect in this episode except Ithuriel's look and the damn vision!
I think the same 💖 when Magnus mentioned Jem it wasn't that bad I think, I was so happy to hear his name that I didn't care 😂
Giuliana me too! I know some ppl were not happy with his name being mentioned and I get it bc it reveals a lot for ppl who haven't read the books - which is why I think everyone should just read them :P
OMG my heart stopped when I heard Jem's name! XD
Scarlett Ashlin King Ikr?! I nearly choked on my breakfast when I was watching the episode!
AJ N Hahahaha! Must be dangerous to watch Shadowhunters while eating. XD
Your videos make me feel like Im not the only one out there who is as obsessed with the show. I literally cant wait to see this every week cause its like someone who I can finally agree and feel like part of the fandom. Keep doing them please because I absolutely love your channel and your personality is amazing as well!!!!
It bothered me a little that only Clary could hear the angel, I mean Jace should be able to hear him too right?
they're probably holding out on that for the ~big dramatic reveal~ when we find out about sebastian lmao!!!
Jessica Jones they should've just had him hearing it, but not elaborate yet
I think the angel was only crying out to Clary, I think he projected that cry into her mind and her alone. Cleophas could only hear it when she used a hearing rune, same probably goes for Jace and everyone else, Ithuriel probably didn't call out to Jace, just Clary.
Yeah, I guess you are right, but at the end, they were both there, so it didn't make any sense
jace is getting a silent treatment, the angel is like "I am mega pissed at you jace, therefore I am not talking to you, you are now exiled from my mind until you finally get rid of that seelie. Ithuriel, OUT BITCHES"
My favourite part was when Jace wasn't going to come with Luke because he thought Alec sent him but then as soon as Luke said that Clary's in trouble Jace freaked out, got up and went running out of there!!!!!!!!! OMFG! CLACE!!!!!!
When Simon said "Is this the only bar in Brooklyn?" 😂😂
Her getting so excited about the jace and simon scene was adorable!
I felt that Jace was sooooooo Book jace this ep. I was screaming yesssss. And simon was so....simon. YAYYYYYY.
This episode made me so so happy bc there were so many little things from the books and I was so excited for this review omfg
Deshee Basara her shape shifting is a lot more powerful than simply looking like the person though, she BECOMES the person
Olivia but still doesn't feel as special with that rune anymore
*BOOK SPOILER!*
Shouldn't Jace have heard the angel cry too since he and Clary have both been experienced on with angel blood when they were babies?
Thayna Lambert - L. Maybe because jace has not been acting "pure" and I don't mean sexual things at all, just jace thinking he is a bad person and being so confident that he has demon blood run through his body?
That's the only way I could explain it
Deshee Basara ohhh like he's shutting it down himself? I could dig that 🤔
Thayna Lambert - L. Yeah but not on purpose I think
I feel like things are starting to come together and I'm hoping they tie all these storylines into a fantastic second half
My favourite line was when Mia gave Jace his shots and said 'I spit in one of them' 😂😂
I was really upset when they didn't do the book flashbacks because I was so ready for it, knowing the episode was leading up to a meeting with Ithuriel. That scene is so important to the Clace relationship and Jace's resolve so when they showed a different vision to the whole demon/angel blood book flashes I was frustrated as I'd loved the rest of the episode.
As always, love the reviews 👍
When Magnus said *JEM* IM JUST DIE!! 💜
Christine, do you watch The 100? S4 is so good so far!!!!
I was dying with how Jace was this episode! And Simon too, and Malec and AHHH I JUST LOVED THIS EPISODE
I am scared for Monday's episode. Max will have his rune ceremony, and given how they are brining "Infernal Devices" things to the table, I am scared Max will die like the girl on the first chapter of Clockwork Princess ;-;
Celestino Vela - I hope he doesn't because the Sebastian/max/Isabelle scene had me in tears in the books and it might give the show a good moment
Celestino Vela oh no... I never thought of that and I don't think my heart can handle it
OH SHIT NOOOOOOOOOOO I HADN'T THOUGHT ABOUT THAT OH MY GOD NOOOOOOOO IT'S TOO SOON!
This was by far my fav episode!! I just loved all the conversations the characters had with each other! they should definitely put more focus on those little moments! btw I'm reading Shadowhunter academy right now, and if it wasn't for you I would have stoppedXD so thank you!! It's getting awesome right now!!
the scene with simon and jace was hillarious. also clace fighting together at the roof. SOOO COOOOOLLL
I love your "The Last Five Years" reference at the end. XD
"climbing uphill Jamie" oh god I love you even more Christine for this
So I'm rewatching your shadowhunters videos and omg that The Last Five Years reference I'm dyingggg that's my fave
OMG the banter with Simon and Jace was GOLLLLD
I'm so hyped up about the two next episodes and you still haven't uploaded either 😭 really want to know your opinion
BEST EPISODE YET!! Also it always makes me laugh how at times the lights are so bright that you blend in with the white background hahaha
Awww i love that you made reference to a song from The Last Five Years
have u watched riverdale?
The Jem reference had me shook
Honestly it felt censored to me and I'm so mad about it
Jose Rodriguez it's not about them not showing it, it's about the equality, and the way it would be completely rushed and pushed to the side like 'okay now we've got that thing out of the way what next'
Also the actors may not have been comfortable with that
xoxox2418 they're actors.
They are tieing a lot from other books into one, I'm curious about what the endgame is and how it differs from the novels
When are you going to do an episode 8 review
Jace being Jace-y was by far the best part of this episode. So refreshing.
I loved it!
I literally cannot over the fact that Jace is finally being like himself + such a typical Jace and Simon moment ahhhhhh
As soon as Jace started talking to Simon I knew this was going to be book-ish and I got really excited for Xtine's review :D
All throughout this video I was like I love jace in this episode, p.s love this series your doing its goals💖💖
OMG I LOVE YOUR PARKS AND REC SHIRT BEN WYATT WOULD APPROVE!!
When Magnus mentioned Jem, I literally cried. Jem is the kindest, sweetest person ever.
I'm actually really pleased with where the direction of this show is going. The writers are making it accessible for people that haven't read the books but they're also giving the people who read the books moments of goodness. Overall I'm really happy this show is finally where it needs to be☺️
Her reaction to Jace being Jace was literally me! Her reaction to everything with Jace and Simon is me so much it hurts.
I practically danced just like you did while I was watching the Jace Android Simon's scenes ❤ this esa mujer favorite episode of all that we had seen
This show is awesome it's getting so much better and even if it's different than the books I love the twists that keep me, who read the books, guessing.
The JIMON scene was my fave by far! It felt so much like something straight out of the books and I was at work and almost dying of laughter it was too good 👏🏻
I choked on my food watching this because Christine was making me re-live all the feels from that episode and it was everything!
I swear when Jace used the shapeshifting rune I was like "Christine is gonna be SO mad" lol. I am one of those people who haven't read the books but I feel obligated now that you said it like that. The sad thing is that I am a very slow reader and I am studying for finals so it's kind of impossible for me to read the books right now.
pd: Watch Riverdale
Naomi G psss.read.psss.it.psss.
I could ship Simon with anyone honestly, Alberto's doing such a great job!
Every time Alberto/Simon smiles, I put a huge goofy grin on my face. His smile is contagious!
Words can not describe how much I LOVED this episode!!
I was waiting for the explosion and the kiss, and all those memories ahbslsgwk I can't believe all the connection with TID
I've been waiting for this all week!
You should do another review on the new episodes of shadowhunters
what do you think of will tudor playing Sebastian??
the jace i fell in love with in the books was in this episode omg
I just can't get over Luke using his gun on Valentine 😂😂😂 it looked so ridiculous 😂
I love your enthusiasm when you talk about the books. You're so passionate about them and I also felt like this episode was much better, like Jace FINALLY sounded like the Jace we know from the books! I literally DIED when he said "dazzle me". (And I also loved that Simon repeats it when Jace goes off to flirt with the blond girl after using the shapeshifting rune.)
I haven't read the Infernal Devices trilogy yet and I was getting worried about them mentioning Jem and yin fen.
HI!! ON WHAT ORDER SHOULD I READ THE BOOKSSS!!??? :--)
I'd Shadow hunters only based on Immortal Instruments or Is it based on Immortal Instruments, Clockwork etc.?
Same feeling! It's getting better and I finally like FEEL IT! Like THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT (or kid of haha) but it's hiding in that direction
damn... absolutely do not agree that that the books are better! I think that the show is taking CC's idea and bringing up to a whole new level of good!!!
The Jaceiest Jace that has ever been explains my thoughts exactly!!!
past 2 episodes have been better than ALL OF THE OTHER EPISODES put together. honestly I can finally start to hope for this show tho. also I was soooo CHEERING for Ithuriel when he flew away!
Are you going to do any episode discussions for season 4 of the 100?????
Which is your all time favorite Couple? You have to pick one! Also I have read and reread and rereread the books over and over. Its amazing! Also did you ever watch the mortal insturments:city of bones movie if so, did you like the movie and wish they kept up on the movies or do you prefer the show? NEED ANSWERS!!!!! Love ya girl!
I fangirled so hard during that Jace & Simon scene! It felt like book Jace! It was book Jimon!
Im pretty sure the yin fen or whatever is made of vampire venom not blood? (Sorry dont really know how to write yin fen¿)
WHEN JEM WAS MENTIONED OMG MY FACE WAS FROZEN IN A GOOFY SMILE OMGOMGOMG AND THEN ITHURIEL GIVING CLARY VISIONS AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! IT'S SO BOOK
I actually read the books last year after watching Shadowhunters episode 1. Now I've read all Cassandra Clare's novels lol
I wasn't a fan of the first season so I decided to give this season a miss but can anyone tell me if this season is better without spoiling thanks. Also I didn't read the books so my opinion is entirely based on the show.
This was my absolute favorite episode so far
5:05 jasest this needs to be a word in the dictionary
when Jace and Simon were having their moment I was fangirling so hard and literally shouted THIS IS JACE when he said dazzle me, and also how fast he reacted when Luke told him it was about Clary #CLACE4EVER
Okay, I'm going to read these freaking books now😍 you made me feel like reading them now and I'm in the mood for reading❤️ bye, see you when I finished all books
