3. this methods also shows mathematical models can be applied to real world problems,
Graphing could be an alternative solution by plotting polynomial can visually help understand where the solution is. I agree that its the best solution.

what i usually do is graph a plot of the function in excel first, and that way io can see what my roots/zeros are and then i use goal seek. Or ill use bisection, rugala falsi, secant, fixed point or newton raphsons method to find my roots/zeros as well
