Thank you so much! This is really going to help with a HW that I have to turn in this week. You are the best, man. Thank you for making this videos. I can't thank you enough. You have no idea how influential you have been in my academic career. Thank you!!!
It teaches several concept to solve polynomial equations using goal seek in excel; 1. its helps show how changing one variable effects the outcome of a polynomial function 2. Goal seek employs numerical methods to find solution 3. this methods also shows mathematical models can be applied to real world problems, Graphing could be an alternative solution by plotting polynomial can visually help understand where the solution is. I agree that its the best solution.
what i usually do is graph a plot of the function in excel first, and that way io can see what my roots/zeros are and then i use goal seek. Or ill use bisection, rugala falsi, secant, fixed point or newton raphsons method to find my roots/zeros as well
F(x)= x^3-1.9x^2-2.04x+2.016 X= [-10 , 10 ] △X= 1 Using goal seek find the polynomial roots ? What are the values of (x) that makes f(x) = 4 ? And last .. draw the graph?

11:00 - "The answer is 14."
I laughed out loud.
why have excel to solve it when he can solve it by himself, huh 😂😂
I know me to

MR. Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for Solving Polynomial Equations using Micrsoft Excel.
If we plot a curve we can easly understand the range within which roots are lying. I think that will help
Awesome man, very helpful. Thanks
god, does this guy teaches excel as well? genius
please do a series on c++ or c I would benefit a ton from a series on those 2 subjects
Thank you very much for this video. It was super helpful. Excellent!

Thanks very much for the explanation.. is it the same if I put f(x) equations??
Thank you Very Helpful
YOU ARE GENIOUS THANKYOU!!!!
Thank you so much!!
Thanks u so much
You're welcome
thanks its help for me
Is it possible to get x values from the y values?
How I can adjust "to value" to the another cell or named variable?
Thanks sir
i need goad seek value to be cell reference instead of number. is there any way to do it?
Can I use the goal seek to calculate one whole column?
F(x)= x^3-1.9x^2-2.04x+2.016
X= [-10 , 10 ] △X= 1
Using goal seek find the polynomial roots ? What are the values of (x) that makes f(x) = 4 ? And last .. draw the graph?
How to put polynomial eq ..f(x) = x^2 - 4x +3 ...create an excel.formula that compute this equations .pkace the number 10 in cell A1
Thank you
do anyone know his info=)))) I love his voice since the first time I know this channel=)))
cant you set it to a cell and not a value?
In excel
I tried on excel but my ans shows -6.25
Please
I have office 365 and dont aee this feature
You exactly didnt help at how to use goal seek for polynomi yiu didnt give the real examples for it
thank you
