I agree. Ren is so strong. There are videos online that he posted while trying to find ways to cure himself (before he knew it was Lyme disease). He is so optimistic in those videos, enthusiastically sharing the methods he was going to try (think healthier eating, yoga, etc) and excitedly explaining the benefits of the methods to try to help others who were suffering as he was. And in those videos you see that he tried, and tried, and tried over and over again, he tried SO hard. He hoped and wished and worked so freaking hard. What an unbelievably strong individual.

This song accurately describes me. I have suffered from sleep deprivation most of my life. In one of his videos, he filmed himself while trying to fall asleep. He couldn’t shut his brain off.

I think another song you will like is 'Ren ft. Bibi - Crutch', heartbreaking, beautiful and deep. Absolutely underrated in my opinion. And has a great no-budget video as well. 'Crutch' dates back to a time when Ren thought he wouldn't live much longer. Bibi was his girlfriend at that time and started a GoFundMe to raise donations for his treatment/diagnosis.

Another deep one and its hard to hear Ren's emotions so raw, the pain and despair in his voice. Always grips my heart tight.
You are right, Ren is so strong for having been able to push through it all this long, the ups and downs, the setbacks and the search for answers.
I know that struggle from having been the witness, career and support system to my ex husband when he was going through similare things. We still do not know what is the cause of his problems....
I know the cause of my pain and insomnia that comes and goes, so working on trying to get back in balance and hopefully a painfree life again.

You bring a lot of good insights to your reactions and could feel you really connected with this one. I swear, I have been listening to Ren’s music for a year now pretty much non stop. Between listening to his music, watching many of you reactors talk about his music and the Ren Rabbit Hole FB community also talking about his music, I keep falling deeper into it all. His talents are so multi layered that each time I listen I get new revelations and more mind blown. 🤯 And you are right! It’s not mindless although a good escape from daily tasks, 😂 all these discussions help to be better people as a whole. ❤ 🌎 ✌️

Thanks for your reaction. It's hard to hear his deep pain & sadness, but worth it. His writing is brilliant. When you are ready, Ren's song Penitence is deeper and more poetic.

Hey my friend hope you are well. I have a love/ hate relationship with this song. It’s brilliant and I love the rapping and guitar solo at the end. I hate it because I suffer with chronic illness and chronic insomnia too so I can empathise with Ren. I’m lucky to get 2-4 hours of sleep most days. Sometimes I go days or even a couple weeks without sleeping a wink and it drives me mental. Anyway great reaction as usual. 🖤
