I remember catching that. The prevailing theory at the time during Zou was that Momo had met Ace since people remembered the conversation between Ace and Oars Jr. about how Ace had visited Wano before. No expected time travel
I saw theories that speculated, that Wano itself was stuck out of time, back then. Hence the need to keep it closed off from the outside. Still kinda disappointed that wasn’t what happened.
@@dinogt8477 have u read or watched one piece? also time travel is typically trash but it makes sense and doesnt seem to bad since its only future time travel
It's honestly super endearing and makes me want to watch the series again after dropping it YEARS ago. I knew it was good, but this dude's making sound like a gift from God. Not that I don't agree with him.
the thing is... on its own, it's not necessarily a great thing. Maybe it starts mediocre and gets marginally better, but still never gets truly good. But here it's much different. It's praised as being really good in the first Saga. That's what makes it truly special
The reason this arc is so good is because Oda himself was hyped to draw this part of the story and put a lot of thought into it. He's been planning it since the beginning of OP actually. Remember he published a manga called Monsters about the samurai Ryuma before this.
to clarify: monster only has 5 chapters. And the part with ryuma is only a one shot and seems to have nothing to do with the world of one piece (other than a legendary samurai of the same name)
@@Himolino well yes. but oda said in an interview he was excited and waited a long time to draw something with samurai in it. monsters was just to show how long this was in his mind
@@Himolino You're thinking of "Wanted!", which is a collection of separate one-shots Oda did before One Piece. One of them was Monsters. Another one is a cowboy one-shot called Wanted, which the volume is named after. Also, Oda has confirmed that the Ryuma in "Monsters" is in fact the same Ryuma that fought Zoro as a zombie, and is the one from Wano. Ryuma even mentioned fighting a dragon, which he did in Monsters.
When all the Strawhats make that face while looking at the news, they say “Ha?!” Which is a joke because it signals Part 2 of Kabuki theater called Ha. Oda likes play on words.
It's unbelievable that like 5 months ago he was reading romance dawn and now he's almost caught up. But then again I binged 30 episodes of one piece everyday until I caught up
Act 1 is phenomenal! going into this arc that had been built up for ever, and knowing how chaotic other big arcs like Whole Cake, Dressrosa, and Marineford, I never expected such a simple and fun adventure through a new land type of story like we got. Taking me back to the early days of One Piece with Luffy and Zoro just running a muck in a new mysterious island. The genius of this is that Wano being an isolated country is what allows for this to happen in the first place. These people don't know Luffy and the Strawhats, for the first time in a long time he's an unknown again just doing what he feels like. This also highlights What I think the strengths of Law's character are. Being the serious, strategic type, the more complex and plot focused elements of the story can be shown through him, while giving Luffy the freedom do just do what he wants. And then the conclusion was mindblowing. I got so used to how One Piece arcs are typically structured, I never expected the main villain to just show up, completely forgetting there's no reason he can't do that. Zou, Whole Cake, Reverie and Wano have been brilliant for how they've completely changed the structure of story and broken old firmly established patterns (In my mind). Making modern One Piece the most exciting and unpredictable it's ever been for me. P.S. This also makes me retroactively appreciate Dressrosa even more. Being the most typical in structure and feeling like I knew where the story was going lured me into this false sense of security where I thought I knew how One Piece would play out, Nope.
Wano also made me appreciate Dressrosa because it reminded me how their actions in the previous arcs are significant and have some weight when they arrived in Wano. Like before they were only following what Law instructed because of the whole plan to cripple Kaido. but there is so much more weight to that which the Strawhats will understand in Wano.
I've been watching through the show with my wife and she's almost done with punk hazard. There was a scene where kinemon showed an extra level of anger towards the dragon they were fighting. Just another bit of foreshadowing from Oda
@@gary5852 Yeah. I never really realized how much Oda puts in since its hard to spot them week to week. Its nice seeing these reviews for a refresher. I think it might be time for a reread.
@@charlesguillergan8759she wasn't born in Wano but her parents are from Wano. The best theory I've heard is the Amatsuki, Tokis clan, was one of the 19 families that became the Celestial Dragons so the reason she's never been to Wano is because she was born in Mariejois pretty soon after or just before the Void century ended and she for a reason not explained to us atleast yet, used her time skip ability to leave the holy land for the future and make her way to Wano to wait for Joy Boys return.
To be fair to Mark, Act 3 isn't even finished yet, so he can't say that for certain yet. It's highly likely that he'll be forced to say that when the arc ends, but it's not going to happen for a few more months most likely.
I find it pretty neat that the same weapon first used against Luffy, a giant spiked club at the hands of Alvida, was completely ineffective against him. Now, we have the same weapon in the hands of Kaido and Luffy is one-shot by it. I like that detail for some reason, but I can't quite figure out why.
Its the same reason humans like rhyming in music and poetry. We like similar elements repeating themselves in new and slightly different contexts. It feels familiar or satisfying.
Yeah, we still don't know if he's a human/oni with a dragon devil fruit, or an actual dragon with a human devil fruit (oni model), or a dragon that can simply transform without devil fruit powers.
Hey Mark, the Luffy/Zoro reunion scene is even more impactful for weekly readers/ when you realize how long that was. I believe it was over 4 years irl, in that sense it reflected how the fanbase felt
Don't think it was the same because right after the Orange Town flashback a pirate ship attacked but in Oden's flashback they just arrive at Water 7. It must be something they argued about more than once.
i said the same thing like this man tryna look cool saying that he met roger and as soon as i found put they time traveled i remembered that and thought holy shit oda is a genius
Oda is a Toilken Fan To not have a massive world with many cultures, history, politics via world building would be a waste of ovr 14,000 notebooks with places and people and information we don't see in Magna but sometimes see in SBS,Databooks,Vivre Cards, and Anime only
Mark's narration and analysis mixed with the editor's skills have made this series by far my favourite one piece content on youtube! Thank you for creating something so nice!
I wouldn't quite go that far because of Mr Morj's analysis videos, but I'm thoroughly enjoying this series & hope that Mark appears on The Wano Report whenever he's fully caught up. I think his fresh perspective on the series could be really interesting to listen to Morj bounce off of.
@@benjaminvonstein yeah mark has been able to pick on some things because of his isolation from the current community. It will be interesting to see what sort of ideas he has floating around in his head.
The time travel plot point was actually foreshadowed back on Zou where after Nekomamushi and Inuarashi talk about their time with Oden on Roger's crew, Momonosuke mentions that he also remembers Roger, to which Usopp accuses him of lying.
In regards to her powers, Wano was so cut off from the world, even Kin’emon didn’t understand devil fruits. That was made evident in punk hazard when he explained he ate a fruit and lost the ability to swim but gained the ability he has. It makes sense if he didn’t know if Toki ate a devil fruit
I was a fan of the Reviews, how quick they got through everything, and how they weren't a 'play by play' of a story. That hasn't changed, but you spending more time to explain what you love and why you love it is amazing and I just got chills from you telling this story! Loving the new review style! Keep it coming
Yes. You're covering this by act. Act II's interlude has some important information, but that's something you'll have to see by yourself. Those few chapters are my favourite chapters from Oda thus far.
Kaido introduction: This man is intimidating... Kaido: Worororo Me: Nevermind, not anymore Now whenever he comes on screen I'm just imagining him say Worororo in my head.
Momo being so young was the most subtle and yet obvious hint towards the time travel reveal...Momo even mentioned meeting Roger once, at Zou I think. The "time travel theory" was born then and never debunked nor hinted towards again, and for two years this mad lad Oda diverted our attention. Oda is great at making reveals actually *revealing* instead of just making up new stuff
I absolutely love how Luffy’s first encounter with Kaido ended. At the start Luffy seems to actually be doing some damage but then gets casually one shot. Kaido is a Yonko for good reason and it shows that just because Luffy is the main character doesn’t mean he’s anywhere near the level of a man called the strongest creature Kaido is a massively powerful and nothing Luffy has right now is capable of beating him
Kind of like when Luffy first fought Crocodile, at the time he was a level ahead of Luffy and defeated him rather easily, it's not until next time they fight where Luffy actually comes up with a strategy to hurt Crocodile does he start doing damage.
The pirate emperors: the strongest people on the whole damn ocean. Edward "Whitebeard" Newgate: the strongest man alive, with the power to cause earthquakes with a punch every island he visits is in danger of being split into pieces or sunk by tsunamis. Charlotte "Big Mom" Linlin: the strongest woman in the world, could beat up giants when she was a child, if you ever show any fear before her she can take your life away. With a living sun in one hand and a storm cloud in the other she can unleash hurricanes on her enemies and bring the world itself to life to serve as her warriors and weapons. "Hundred beast" Kaido: the strongest creature, with an indestructible body that has only ever been gravely injured once, and power to transform into a kaiju sized Dragon the man can level mountains and unleash incredible destruction with his breath, claws and club. Marshal D. "Blackbeard" Teach: the anti-Logia, strong enough to injure a future pirate emporer even before gaining devil fruit abilities, his darkness fruit can reduce entire towns to rubble in no time at all and negate the powers of all other devil fruits. Add to that the earthquake powers he stole from Whitebeard and the man can unleash island destroying shock waves all while completely negating the abilities of those that would try to stop him. And "Red Hair" Shanks: A MAN WITH ONLY ONE ARM! And a sword he also has a sword.
@@redx589 and its not holding his own fighting either. That man sent Kaido packing back in Marinford when Kaido wanted to take advantage of the chaos to blindside whitebeard. Shanks beat back and indestructible dragon, in such a short amount of time that he could still show up to end the fighting at Marinford, did without taking any serious injuries, and did it all while only having one arm. If the man had two arms he'd be pirate king by now.
Not really... They kind of ruined the surprises through the title song. Kaido seemed like he had to try a bit to take down Luffy. Zoro cutting the judge with seppukku one of the best single panel action scenes so far while the anime kinda stretched it out. Queen vs o lin was ruined in my opinion. I loved the borobreath and kamazo scene btw.
@@moderndayphilosopher9782 This comes from setting the bar of expectations and standards very low for one piece and because the idea that the anime quality they present us with is the norm. In wano, no doubt the color and animation effects have went way up but the anime direction and editing has fallen way lower compared to the likes of ennies lobby and water 7 anime. Queen vs o lin is my all time biggest let downs by any anime in the history of my animewatching/mangareading.
you should definitely look into the sbs sections. how many stories and characters oda decided to include in the manga and how many things he gave a broader storyline is just amazing
My favorite story is the worst generation. Apparently it was pitched to him by his editor, an afterthought. And look how oda uses these characters to their maximum capabilities in the story it's insane.
Toei's musketeer is one of the scariest mascots ever created. Because it weilds the famous copyright sword that is said to have taken down everyone it slashes. Good luck on your mighty battle Mark.
23:48 "THERE IS NOW TIME TRAVEL ON ONE PIECE" Ah, it brings me back to the times of the collective fandom freakout that happened when that chapter dropped.
It also brings back the time when the part of the community that actually pays attention was like "Yeah, Momo said he met Roger like hundred chapters ago, why are you freaking out now?"
Rubber boy? Sure A guy that can break himself into floating pieces? Sure People that can turn into fire, Magma, swamps,a Castle and Moochi? Sure Peeople that can't reality in their "room", turn people into toys and nobody remembers them, controls animals and Zoans with dumplings pulled from their cheek, and can play with a D&D style " "Delck of Many things" that warps reality for both sides and summon a Strawman Stand that can shoot nails like a a machine gun, sure Time Travel, even with limited use, only in 1 direction, and the user currently dead......ARE YOU KIDDING?!!, THATS UNREALISTIC AND TRASH!!!😏
@@Nerazmus even if someone picked up the fruit in current timeline, its practically... useless to the plot ? it only affects the future, unless we get some shenanigans like sabaody where the user of the fruit sends all of the strawhats in a time skip, the fruit shouldn't have any relevance to the main plot which is nearing its end
@Dylan Ogega Most of Wano, I not the rest of the new world, after the time skip he is always with the badass pose, it's rare for get a smile, or any funny face. (The Evil grin before slashing a foe doesn't count)
@Dylan Ogega why an evil grin would count for not being serious? it's a smile, but a really serious one, anyway, in wano he has loosen up a lot, but before that point he was a lot more serious than before, from Fish-Man Island to dressrosa.
The but with Tama realizing Luffy really is Ace's brother is actually even better! Because that's 110% what Luffy stated the purpose of the attack was when he unveiled it on fishman island, as a tribute to Ace.
I'm waiting for a Volume in depth analysis as a reread from totally not mark, may he spots Sabo in chapter 97 or 98. He have missed so much forshadowing or hints or lore spread all around in the One Piece World. I still can't forget his BS in Thriller Bark. I mean we literly saw Moria use his dobberman (shadow) swap vs Luffy before it got introduced against Robin, he have rushed this series and missed some key details, just glad the editor and his friends points out some of them.
To address your questioning about the "moon" in Toki's prophecy. While there may (and probably will) be more to it, the most immediate connection is their name: the "zuki" in Kouzuki is written with the kanji for "moon". This is why the Kouzuki supporters in Wano have a moon tattooed on their ankles. And with how she refers to her ability as an "ability" instead of a "fruit", that's consistent with what we've seen of those from Wano in the first place: they have different terms to refer to fruit abilities, including "sorcery," "magic, "ability," and "curse". This most likely comes from, again, their isolated culture. Finally, the "weaving" verb in her prophecy is not the same word for weaving a hat in the original Japanese. The translators just did that to make the language a bit more flowery and "prophetic" sounding.
What you said about is moon is plausible but about the devil fruit that mighnt be the case because we learned that wano wasn't isolated in past as it is right now. The reason why wano residents says abilities is becasue they have almost no idea about devil fruits. When we were in east blue devil fruits were considered just as a myth. East blue is completely exposed to world and even though were very vaguely informed on devil fruits so its pausible to say that wano has no info on devil fruits. But Toki is not from current timeline and in fact is from void century and even she says it as ability so I think it might be because it was something newly introduced during her time i.e void century. So it might hold some key info about origin of devil fruit.
I just realize, the Scabbards could be the Moon, not knowing there Importance creating nine Shadows. Maybe the Prophecy speaks about the Scabbards wounding Kaido enough for Luffys Crew to Win. Or maybe its refering to something happening after Kaido in which the Samurai Support the Strawhats.
The people of Wano does not know about devil fruits. Kinemon mentioned his powers as magic powers when he first showed his power. Also, Mark never even mentioning kanjuro by name is one of the best spolier warnings he has done himself :D
6:45 And this panel is really good because it shows off just how far Zoro came in his training, since Mihawk fought him when they first met with that tiny knife.
@Jipke yeah but the same issues still remain... The anime has really bad pacing compared to the manga and while yeah, it has its moments here and there the same issues still persist, THEY EXTEND THE SHIT OUT OF IT adapting 1 manga chapter or sometimes even HALF of a chapter into the anime and it ruins some really good moments and jokes that need to happen fast or it works because it's so instantaneous... it's not like change of art style and epic moments really well animated will instantly save it...
Mark: Coincidences in storytelling are bad writing. Luffy, stranded, alone on the beach, happens to have the only person with a positive connection to Ace, on her birthday, and the only time she's needed saving since bump into him. Mark: What a great way to start the story! Me: Audible confusion.
I’m not Mark, but one thing I heard once was coincidences that lead a character down a path aren’t bad, it’s when you use coincidences to solve a problem. Really this coincidence is little more than a cool callback to knowing that ace was in wano. It makes Luffy trust her more, but really luffy would’ve trusted her anyway
Seeing the little gintama scene at 7:24 made me realize I would LOVE it if Mark reviewed gintama arc by arc the same way he's doing for one piece once he catches up with wano. Sure gintama arcs usually aren't quite as long but I think it still fits this format pretty well, plus if a video is on the shorter side he could spend some time to talk about moments he liked from the one off comedy episodes/chapters or something (assuming he hasn't already seen gintama lol)
now 22 reviews with average length of 32min 11:43 HOURS of reviewing a series. You've just passed the total length of Lord of the Rings, extended edition.
And soon he will feel the wrenching pain of waiting a week for a chapter and years to conclude a Arc. I mean how many years between Luffy and Zorro parting and now coming back together... the pain.
I can't wait to see Mark's reaction to Soba Mask and Moria, among all of the great shit that happens in arc 2. The theories about Moria and Wano are gonna be interesting.
I have been seriously stressed with work and writing my dissertation for university recently. Watching these videos and experiencing a brand new story alongside you has been great at helping me catch my breath and relax for a moment. I remember a while back you posted a community post saying that you had become disillusioned with RUclips. However, today you're going stronger than ever. It's honestly inspiring. Just want to say a massive thank you to you and your editors for providing us with some of the best content around, it helps in so many more ways than you know!
These videos make me feel so nostalgic. Seeing someone watch one piece for the first time is amazing. Can’t wait till he gets to 957 and the oden flashback. BTW the nujabes at the beginning was fire
Bro chapter 957 deserves its own video. My favorite chapter ever and it's not even linked to current events. One piece is the only work of fiction that can ever pull this off .
I'm about to shed a tear. It's beautiful seeing the Birth of a One Piece fan, and even better to watch their journey as they rapidly catch up on over 20 years of amazing storytelling. I hope that these videos have led to many more people discovering the joy that is ONE PIECE. #NAKAMA
Man... i just really love your videos.... By sheer enthusiasm, eloquence, and a god level editor, you made me rewatch the entire anime in a record time. Please, after eventually catching up with the manga, keep talking about One Piece. Congrats.
This man is going to have a stroke once he reads the Oden flashbacks and realizes how much of the bits and pieces scattered throughout the story are all referenced and come together in those chapters
25:00 this is most likely due to the fact that, in Wano, they don’t refer to devil fruit powers as such but as “strange abilities.” There are spoilers about Toki later that call this into question, but it makes sense in the context of the scene even though it might be an oversight in retrospect.
@@RamenCupBMG [ SPOILER WARNING FOR OTHERS WHO AREN’T RamenCupBMG ] Toki travels for a while with Oden and the Roger pirates so I feel like that would give her the knowledge to call devil fruits by their proper name. However, in retrospect I realize there’re people like Kin’emon who’ve also traveled and still don’t call their powers devil fruits.
To be honest never did I. I most eared of the theory about Luffy will probably died close to chapter 999 as in chapter 99 was called Luffy's death and maybe Law power could be involve at some point to save him. But in a way mark video make me notice that the cursed is about swordmen and probably that's a hint that nothing will happend because Luffy isn't a swordman and women may not be affected by kitetesu's curses too.
@@Khe0ps7 i heard about a similar theory but idk about this part about women because maybe in japanese it's more like sword wielder and not swordsmen, but I could be wrong...because I think it'd be weird for the swords to pick who to curse or not 😂
I usually reread an arc after it is completed, because each week long wait I tend to forget past stuff. This video feels like a more refreshing review than the others because it’s more in depth and I love it.
I think he changed it because of a certain flawed algorithm that may have found what it erroneously thought was a reference to a certain event from 19 years ago, and demonitized his video. Also, I'm pretty sure Ireland uses "999" as their emergency response call line, like England.
Mark, I would appreciate if you dedicate a whole video to an important piece of flashback that's coming soon. I'm sure you editor can advise you about that! Great video, as always.
That would definetly be smart. That part should not be glossed over. Would give the manga more time to eventually jump into act 4 as well since I assume that's what chapter 999 or 1000 is leading to
yeah definitely... its technically part of act 3 but for all intents and purposes it is its own thing... he can do a review of the rest of arc 3 the week after
I feel like thats a wrong thing to base the pacing on, he literally sped run this series and ate, breath and slept op until this point so ofc the pacing seems faster
I originally started One Piece around the same time you did because it was on Netflix, but somewhere between Alabasta and Skypiea I couldn’t find the time to continue watching it and I’ve been following the story through your videos and it’s been a blast. So thank you for giving myself and others who don’t have the time to sit down and experience One Piece a way to enjoy this epic adventure.

So far wano is my favorite. And I hardly see how anything could surpass it.

Mans made a whole essay 😭😭
I watch you and I love you’re vids.
OMG it's paperman ,I love your videos bro

Also the sulong form from Whole Cake and also big mom's remarks to Luffy when he said he wanted to defeat her and Kaido rings true in wano.
I'm still intrigued to know how Enel fits in with this because he's *literally* on the moon
I was looking for this as soon, as he started theorizing about the moon and the followers.

6:45 And this panel is really good because it shows off just how far Zoro came in his training, since Mihawk fought him when they first met with that tiny knife.
I can't believe he's already at Wano. Took me 18+ years to get that far...

Same here started reading One Piece whne I was 11 and it was released and now I'm turning 30 this summer.
Took me a few months

Omg how slow do you read? Did you read like one chapter per week?
"Wano Act 1 is something I definitely want to check out in the anime in its entirety"
*This is where the pain begins*
why?
doesnt work the anime got pretty good when Wano came
@Jipke yeah but the same issues still remain...
@@donutello_ Only the animation, the same issues the anime had before after the time-skip still persist.
The reuniting of Zorro and Luffy is definitely one of my favorite parts

Mark: Coincidences in storytelling are bad writing.
Luffy, stranded, alone on the beach, happens to have the only person with a positive connection to Ace, on her birthday, and the only time she's needed saving since bump into him.
Mark: What a great way to start the story!
Me: Audible confusion.
thank you. I don't understand this point of him. I mean every story needs some kind of catalyst to start. Even in real life :D
This is just me, but one piece restructured what I thought I knew about good story telling
Coincidences that starts the story is ok.
Coincidences that solves a problem is not ok.

Seeing the little gintama scene at 7:24 made me realize I would LOVE it if Mark reviewed gintama arc by arc the same way he's doing for one piece once he catches up with wano. Sure gintama arcs usually aren't quite as long but I think it still fits this format pretty well, plus if a video is on the shorter side he could spend some time to talk about moments he liked from the one off comedy episodes/chapters or something (assuming he hasn't already seen gintama lol)
now 22 reviews with average length of 32min
11:43 HOURS of reviewing a series.
You've just passed the total length of Lord of the Rings, extended edition.
Bad. Ass.
That's a milestone right there.
And soon he will feel the wrenching pain of waiting a week for a chapter and years to conclude a Arc.
I mean how many years between Luffy and Zorro parting and now coming back together... the pain.
Your time travel theories earlier in the series with Blackbeard/Ace had everyone sweating lmao
Rereading act two in it’s entirety and not on a week to week basis made me fall in love with that arc/act.

He means with prep time. That's a really important caveat.

I felt so nostalgic that I rewatched the entire series. In anime, about over 900 episodes.
I have no life.
#NAKAMA
25:00 Kin'emon and Kanjuro also refer to their Devil Fruit powers as strange magic all the way back in Punk Hazard and Dressrosa
The opening to Wano is so beautiful, and it's even one of Oda's top 3 favorite moments in One Piece so far.
Man... i just really love your videos....
25:00 this is most likely due to the fact that, in Wano, they don’t refer to devil fruit powers as such but as “strange abilities.” There are spoilers about Toki later that call this into question, but it makes sense in the context of the scene even though it might be an oversight in retrospect.
it's definitely because wano doesn't know about devil fruits. what are you referring to in the second sentence?
@@RamenCupBMG [ SPOILER WARNING FOR OTHERS WHO AREN’T RamenCupBMG ]
Toki travels for a while with Oden and the Roger pirates so I feel like that would give her the knowledge to call devil fruits by their proper name. However, in retrospect I realize there’re people like Kin’emon who’ve also traveled and still don’t call their powers devil fruits.
The samurai’s time travel was foreshadowed too back when momonosuke said that he met Roger 20 years ago
Oh damn I did not catch that about how kitestsu's curse was a foreshadowing of luffy's defeat damn I'm learning things
@@Khe0ps7 i heard about a similar theory but idk about this part about women because maybe in japanese it's more like sword wielder and not swordsmen, but I could be wrong...because I think it'd be weird for the swords to pick who to curse or not 😂
This is possibly the finale of many Arcs put together PERFECTLY
Wano was first mentioned in Thriller Bark, pretty crazy how far it goes back
@@unknownvariable9239 yeah and i wonder how cool elbaf will be. It was introduced way before Wano in little garden.
I usually reread an arc after it is completed, because each week long wait I tend to forget past stuff. This video feels like a more refreshing review than the others because it’s more in depth and I love it.
"Chapter nine-ten" (910)
"Chapter nine-one-one" (911)
I see what you did there
Thank god he didn't say nine eleven.
I think he changed it because of a certain flawed algorithm that may have found what it erroneously thought was a reference to a certain event from 19 years ago, and demonitized his video.
Also, I'm pretty sure Ireland uses "999" as their emergency response call line, like England.
@@MrWhatdafuBOOM Yup, watch that demonetization cuz YT sucks... lol
Mark, I would appreciate if you dedicate a whole video to an important piece of flashback that's coming soon. I'm sure you editor can advise you about that!
Great video, as always.
That would definetly be smart. That part should not be glossed over. Would give the manga more time to eventually jump into act 4 as well since I assume that's what chapter 999 or 1000 is leading to
yeah definitely... its technically part of act 3 but for all intents and purposes it is its own thing... he can do a review of the rest of arc 3 the week after
It would also allow him to buy time for act 3 to finish, so that once he catches up he can start with the fresh act 4.
really happy to see Mark getting into deeper analysis. No need to rush especially since you've nearly caught up.

Fun fact: this series has a better pacing than the anime. Feels like yesterday when he started the series
I feel like thats a wrong thing to base the pacing on, he literally sped run this series and ate, breath and slept op until this point so ofc the pacing seems faster
True, but he is forgetting Many important things, obviously but it's incredible what he is doing
sooooo gooood

@@TheVilrayMcK he’s not forgetting anything. He just doesn’t put every single thing into the videos because he doesn’t want them to be really long.
