The thing about a lot of those Japanese candy image videos is that they're often made in department stores, so the makers are encouraged to be flamboyant to gain watchers - so they sell more candy. That's why they do the bubble/confetti pull, the long hook pulls and the hanging of the "blob" - it looks extravagent and theatrical.
@@HerculesCandy this is pretty cool. Maybe someday you can add cotton candy making to your repertoire. 😉 ruclips.net/video/Hk36BJ6FrFI/видео.htmlsi=GFflUmmrvwabaWyb
It's always such a joy to hear Terry's commentary. She's just got that fun bubbly personality that makes me laugh... especially the other day when she suggested motor oil being the mystery filling for ribbon candy.
The video editing has certainly evolved to be top notch. The slow motion on Steve with the muffled sounds of everyone speaking around him was hilarious!!!
this is the 1st time i have watched there reaction vid and was surprised they were making notes and pausing it. bit hard to watch people take nots at least for me but i love there regular content. its addicting!!!
I've had a long, trying day, but came home, made a cuppa tea (like the kind I sent you), and watched you wuvvies. Many giggles escaped... brilliantly shot and edited. Bravo. 👏
Having lived in Japan, the crazy thing is that the Japanese candy makers are quite young, meaning they were almost certainly taught by someone with significantly more experience who could make the candy way better or more precisely.
while I love seeing how you all react to the similarities or differences in techniques for other candy making processes or techniques, the video editing in this one was very good 😂 keep up the good work!
I used to love visiting this sweet candy store when we lived down south and always look forward to stopping in when we go visit back home. Last time I tried to use a public restroom downtown yours was the only one allowed that wasn't a restaurant. So much love for your candy shop
This showed up on my feed and I am happy it did, never watched a video like this/about this, but it was lighthearted and interesting to watch those skills, may never watch another but thank you for this, I shall sleep well dreaming of candies I'll never eat. :)
the reason the do it the hard way because its a performance. they are located in a mall. so malls in asia would be very full most of the time because asia is hot and malls would blast air con full on. so the purpose of all that is just to make people stop and watch and hopefully buy which work if you have kids
Love how Steve takes mental notes instead of physical written notes , can tell that he's been a candy maker for a very long time his brain is a recorder that takes in massive amounts of information and files it in different storage areas hahaha
I ❤ your channel been with you guys since basement day's 😊...... On your way to a million subscribers good luck you'll get there very soon.. with ❤ from Michigan.
Just a suggestion for video’s but I was wondering if you could make video’s with more of the bagging of the finished products ! I just love the sounds the Candy getting packaged in the plastic bags makes ! 💞🙏🏼💞
It's like building an 8 bit character profile by putting together long tubes. So any 8 bit character generator would give you a rough idea of how to assemble the color strips.

Yup, it's the same with live cooking restaurants. It's entertainment.
Like the Salt Bae restaurants - the overly dramatic sprinkling of salt on steaks. But in this case , they do it mostly for the kids watching.

The slow zoom on Steve’s face had me crying 😂
10/10 best directing in candy.
same. literal tears 😂
💯
This!! 😂
Poor Steve is catching all the abuse in this one...😂
Video Idea: Have Terry write down notes like in this video, and then have Greg recreate that candy based soley on Terrys notes!
Great idea!
I didn't notice him taking any notes
@@bossman13666 Terry is the mother!
This was a riot to watch. Your editing is top notch, Craig. Thanks for sharing.
I just gotta say i love this family keep up the great work and keep making smiles much love form Michigan

At 11:43 it almost looks like Steve is making the candy. His shirt lines up with the video. LOL!
So many notes from Steve 😂 The candy looks amazing! I'm always amazed by the picture candies ❤

The candy maker life is really suiting Charly Sheen.

I really enjoy watching these candy related reaction videos from you guys!! ❤
The cinematography is epic. Your channel always makes me laugh. 😂😂😂, thank you.
I'd love to see you guys go to Japan and tour those candy shops and possibly set up a demo with them that would be great.
Asking for a lot eh
Thank you Terry for no titanium dioxide! 🙏💕
4:06 Steve was luke the boy at the movie "Christmas story" 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤
Steve is just taking mental notes, no need for written notes, lol. Now they need to make a batch to see how it comes out. 😀🍊🍊🍊
I love how the guy in the middle is like "I should be retired right now playing golf."
I just love how you guys are taking notes!
These are shows basically, People are standing outside watching :) Great video...
I love how she tried to make two Cod awful fish puns, and they are completely unfazed by it. 😆
I love this. Steve is so adorable!
while I love seeing how you all react to the similarities or differences in techniques for other candy making processes or techniques, the video editing in this one was very good 😂 keep up the good work!
Same only the stopping of the video for notes was a big turn off 😅
I liked the video that zoom in comedy, thanks for that lol

The slow zoom in and muffled audio on Steve was amazing!
At 13:41 it looks like Steve is chopping the candy 😂
The light orange instead of white is so it looks like a glowing jack-o-lantern 🎃

This family is hilarious! I wish I lived near them, I would stop by every day to crack jokes and just hang out. I wish the mom was my mom!
the fish jokes..LOL..just for the halibut
Can’t wait to see them make image candy ‘excite’ ❤

This was entertaining, educational and funny all at the same time.

I think you would love our new channel called Hercules Candy ASMR, because we do a lot of that on there!
youtube.com/@HerculesCandyASMR?si=BM8rdynRE1DMJoLm
Pops is just chillin 😂
The dad looks like he's Charlie Sheen from another dimension, candy dimension
Yummy Yammy is another great RUclips candy making channel to watch.
Terry😂😂😂 just for the halibut...floundering around😂😂😂😂😂
I swear she was doing that on porpoise!
@@HerculesCandy 🤣🤣🤣
It would be good trying with a more simple shape like limon, or orange, also is a very popular flavor. Orange cream, sour lemon /lime
tons of candy, but Julia is still the sweetest. 😁
Steve has the most gorgeous hair ever!
Halibut. . . . floundering. . . . . I'm in.
OMG i just saw the Halloween candy on the website lol. Nice try guys 😆 practice makes perfect
I'm hoping to see Helga soon. It's the Season of the Witch, you know...
I'm so excited to see you guys try to make this!!
12:30 "You'd have to lick that for so long..." made my day!
Steve- Notes?
We don’t need no stinkin’ NOTES !!
🤘😛
Best video so far 😊😊😊
i'm getting some very strong charlie sheen vibes from steve here
We love you Steve!
They’re funny! Love it!
Favourite part was when Jugs said “Give it to me” 😏
How come “sounds like she knows more about the candy business than the Husband and Daughter?!!😂❤
Love the fish jokes
Poor Steve…oblivious 😂
Brilliant 😁 I'd be like Terry and have pages of notes with drawings 😂👍
That was fascinating!
Cool Im glad y’all are going to make this!
Does anyone else love how Steve never writes anything down 😂
Alright ❤ I just seen that video too
love how everyone has a book worth of notes and dads just like fuk it I'll wing it later.
THE ZOOOOM ON STEVE 🤣
I always wanted to see Charlie Sheen reacts to how japanese people make candy
You guys need to watch Sticky candy from Australia. Their candy is softer warmer when they put it into images. They are quite expert
We actually have a video on our channel reacting to their videos!

That guy has a few years from Steve!!! So yes he can pull it so far!!!
I want to move to NY and work for you, you guys are so fun
I love you guys ❤❤❤

Julia is as sweet as the candy she works with 😉
japanese are levels respect for reaction
I would like to see them make this following their written instructions. 😂
When they pull the big end out and hold it in the air, they are letting gravity work for them to get it to the correct diameter they want
1 watches the video and takes notes. 1 doesn't watch video and makes the candy from the notes lol
One of the reasons that they do candy like that is because they're usually doing it for a live audience and trying to be somewhat flashy.
Well done on the 'fish' joke. I got it!
Julia is a joy!
The dream team with decades and decades of experience…and one with not even a year.
the dad had me in stiches bro omg
Not just to make a lighter orange, but it adds air.... but you probably know that. Two tables. One warn and one cold?
14:16 Okay, so where's the link to you guys recreating this candy? I'd love to see it. 👍
We will see it on Friday’s video👍🏻
I bet they are loads of fun
They were doing it that way for entertainment purposes. There were people on the other side of the glasses.
Super cool🎃🎃🥰🥰
"Pumpkin... Noice"
Awesome video ! I wonder if Japan is really into celebrating 🎃 Halloween ?! Blessings from California ! 🤖
Yay🎉
Who made the Copper Kettle you guys use?
"I'm an aquired taste Hoot Hoot"
Charlie Sheen doing candy now?
Looking for in Canadá they offer a class take 2 weeks or something like this
S
What a interesting video ‼️ Would Love to know where Terry purchased her colorful zippered sweatshirt…😍🤗 Do you sell them?
Right here shopsunshinesisters.com/
Yooooo it was Max!!
Poor Steve needs his hat to think about candy, someone robbed him of his magic candy making hat.
I must have missed something but where is Cooper?
Left, it was covered here.
