Cheesy Scalloped Potato Ingredients
5 lbs. Russet Potatoes
2 cups Onions
6 Cloves Garlic or 6 tsp minced Garlic
¼ cup Butter
¼ cup Flour
1 ½ cups Vegetable Broth
1 ½ cups Heavy Cream
1 tsp Salt - 1 tbsp
2 tsp Black Pepper
2 tsp J.O. #2, Creole Kick, or Seasoning Salt
8 oz. Sour Cream
3 cups Cheddar Cheese
1 cup Pepper Jack Cheese
1 cup shaved or shredded Parmesan Cheese

I was on my way to make another page's cheesy potatoes and your recipe popped up as I was getting my ingredients together. You know what I did - right? I didn't overthink it. I didn't over talk it. When I was a kid, my favorite comfort food was the cheesy scalloped potatoes my mom made. She would add leftover ham to them too, during the holidays. I needed a good recipe to use for my base, not to say my moms wasnt good but I needed a video to follow! Followed this and it was hands down, the BEST scalloped potatoes ive ever had. Sorry mom haha!

When I was a kid my dad used to put potatoes in EVERYTHING, to the point I couldn't stand even the smell of them for DECADES. Now in my 30s I've finally rediscovered my appreciation for those lovely spuds, and this is looking mighty fine to me. You bet I'm gonna be cooking this sooner rather than later! :D

A little tip use a whisk so you don’t splash your shirt next time, it is more effective, blending in will be quicker that a wood paddle.

I remember that football game from 1978 or 1980....been a minute AB....love your videos....in Ireland again 9 plus years but grew up in San Francisco ....
I don’t think my husband and I could have survived Covid without this man.... After 13 years of NEVER cooking , about a year ago , he finally started going on Pinterest to look up certain recipes. They was cool, BUT, I was adding salt when he wasn’t looking 👀🤣. One night , he made Meatloaf ( I had my secret salt shaker on deck } but to my surprise, I didn’t need it . I was like what 👏🏾is 👏🏾this 👏🏾?? The next night , he made a shrimp pasta dish .... again, no salt needed ... then he made chilli with cornbread 😩, then Cabbage and sausage, , and on and on and on !!!! Needless to say , I gained tons of weight ( worth it ) since my husband has discovered your channel , and I haven’t had to use salt not once !!! Thank you so much for saving our relationship. Every night I show up to the kitchen early , smiling excited about was next .
All the meals he’s made ~~~ meatloaf , chilli and cornbread , shrimp sausage pasta , seafood MaC n cheese , Regular mac n cheese , collard greens , Salisbury steak ( my favorite) , fried rice , chick fi la chicken sandwich ( made that today ) Popeyes ( I think that was back in March ) and now , I’m gonna request that he makes this next !👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
