Ive got this bike. Ive done like 5000 miles this year already! I have upgraded the wheels to big noisy carbon ones but i love it. Cant knock it at all look after it and it’ll look after you. Many happy miles on the silver beast!
After reading your comment I went and looked the Caad12 up, original reviews are 👌👌 I’m not sure he wanted to go much more than £500 originally though so was trying to get something as close to that as possible!! I’ll tell Tom that, he’ll be well happy 😆 🤘🤘
I would advise both of you guys to do the gravel track around Richmond Park's normal track... The climbs are actually more extreme than Tom Sawyers hill but the drops are epic.. and remember it's not road bike friendly
Hey Bill, not yet, one step at a time, I’m slowly easing him in haha but I did make sure his bike was the right size at least which means when he does go all the adjustments will be doable!! 🤘🤘👍
Enjoyed this, it's refreshing to see people enjoying cycling and no negativity so far. I look forward to seeing more.
Thank you, really glad you enjoyed it 🙏👍
Great vid. Love how you showed that you don't need an expensive bike to enjoy the sport. Nice bikes. 💯
Thanks Rohan, exactly, that’s what it’s all about 🤘🤘

That’s great to know Jon, I really like boardman’s too, robust and made well I rate them!! I’ll pass this on to Kester too 👍🤘🤘
If I started now I’d get a CAAD12, that’s a lot of bike and super light for less £££. Tom looks like a vintage cyclist in that vest 👌

@@therookiecyclist it’s tricky thing to buy secondhand as well, plenty of duds around and time consuming so I get both sides of the new/old argument.

It won’t be long before he’s upgrading to a carbon bike 😂💰 it’s the natural progression 🚴🏻👍
