You know, this trailer has showed off such a large range of expressions on the portraits and CG that these characters actually look more expressive here than they do in Melty Blood. This was the complete opposite 15 years ago. Man...
True! And you know its actually kinda makes sense since new Melty Blood is prequel to TsukiR VN set 10 days before it in that timeline. And 16 years ago it was complete opposite MB being a sequel indeed.

The atmosphere of that scene with Arc pinning Shiki to the floor and pleading with him NOT to abandon her was touching... Shiki being like "lol nope" in his head and cutting her neck wasn't; specially how she remained numb for a while from that. That was just plain cold and made me feel awful lol.
@Snake Eraser I'd say the issue is that after Shiki runs away from Arc's appartment after the 17 dissection thing, Ciel slowly becomes the heroine and Arc barely gets a negative look until the final chapter where it's basically an ultimatum and the main decision to either get the good or true ending. If the Remake solves that, with Shiki slowly disbanding from Arcueid and focusing on Ciel; as well as the two girls having some fiery encounters out of Arc's jealousy, then it can make sense why she becomes a literal nightmare in the end chapter. Sure enough, I'm certain Nasu will change the requirements to make Arcueid reach to such lenghts in Ciel's route... as well as making something else be the definitive decision to get either the true or good ending. Hopefully it'll play out during their fight or something, with Shiki's condition over Roa being the main factor. Something like Shiki's personality dying as Roa is slowly taking possession being the decision for a good ending (since Arc and Ciel would out an end to the fight to aid Shiki as quickly as possible). And Shiki pulling an "anime protag" moment by rejecting Roa or using part of his powers to aid Ciel in the fight or something, leading to the true ending.
They're changing so many things, I wonder if they will change Akiha's route too. She was the only heroine who didn't have a happy end in the original Tsukihime.

Interestingly I've always interpreted Akiha TE to be bitter sweet, which Shiki is confirmed alive by Akiha feeling his presence with his knife, she just have to wait for him to return. I love the poetic feel of the TE that I actually wish they keep it that way. But NE, nah.

Tsukihime is my dream, i could play the VN years ago thanks to a fan patch and was the history that marked me the most in my life. I want to play this version of Tsukihime with all my heart. I absolutely agree with you my dude, I have only read the tsukihime manga but automatically fill in love with the world and character and it was because of this manga that introduce me to the type-moon universe, so I'm hoping that they would announced an english version some point.

It’s an established genre and easy to sell. While Tsukihime is a visual novel, a foreign concept in the west with an extremely small market. Localizing it is a high risk low reward investment. It simply just not worth the trouble.

Plus TYPE-MOON has a lot of fans, some who may have played the original visual novel, some who played the original Melty Blood or anyone who discovered them through the metric ton of Fate anime, games, manga etc. They're at least aware that they have a fanbase outside japan otherwise the new Melty Blood wouldn't be getting a translation regardless of if the genre is more established. It is also likely that those who discover this series from the new game Melty Blood who would want more content would logically go looking for it online, which in turn would continue to build an even larger audience to sell to.
