- In this video, I show you the cameras on my 2022 Refreshed Chevy Silverado LT Trail Boss. The cameras makes it much easier to maneuver and park this vehicle. It is one of my favorites things about my truck.

Awesome videos w/ great content. Just put a deposit on a 2023 with the 3.0 Duramax and now debating between that and the 5.3. Like yourself have a young family and hope to get a travel trailer. Now that you own one what motor do you think is more practical.
I don't know much about the diesel engine option. I didn't even consider it. The 5.3l is plenty engine for me since my travel trailer is pretty light (3500lbs dry).

@@thedroesslers truck finally came in. Do you find your side view cameras blurry versus the rest? Did your truck come in with camera top view on left versus the right...thanks
I have noticed the side view of the back tire seems a bit blurry. The front tire side view is more clear. I don't use the top view too often, but I believe it only only does front/rear. Enjoy your new truck!

My Trailboss doesn’t have the front of side cameras, they would come in handy for sure.
Did you ever figure out the trailer camera? I just bought a trailer and its wired for a rear trailer camera - the sales agent said Chevy did not have any compatible cameras for it?
I don't think it is possible with the camera I have. My understanding is that the Furrion camera I have is a closed system. It only works with a Furrion display. I am surprised the sales agent said there are no compatible cameras your truck. They definitely advertise this in their commercials and the Chevy accessories website has some results when I search for cameras.
Can you use the side view while driving? Thought this would stay on even while going highway speed. Have a 2023 LTZ.
Does it work in Trailer tow mode?
The camera views you can use while traveling at most speeds are very limited. I do not know of a way to use the side view while driving. It only shows up for me when I am towing and only when I put my blinker on.
I got a 24 trail boss and you can use any camera at any speed. It’s very trippy and I wouldn’t advise it.
I wish it had a cargo cam to check on a load

How is it my 2023 trail boss doesn't have the 360 camera??
I just looked at my build (2022 refresh) and HD surround vision is listed under the optional Safety Package. It includes other things like trailer camera provisions, trailer blind spot, and rear cross traffic braking.
@@thedroesslers I don't remember exactly what it takes off, but if you select the HD surround vision - you end up not being able to put another package. I wanted to have it but it took off like park assist and other stuff when I selected it.
That's too bad. The surround vision is one of my favorite things.
