- Our reason for going to Ecuador was to Climb Cotopaxi, an amazing active volcano in the ring of fire in the Andes. We climbed it in August 2021 with the help of our amazing guide. This climb was full of crevasses, beautiful views and lots of lessons learned.

We sometime get up at 1:15 AM too but it's because we're older and don't sleep well not to scale a mountain! Loved seeing you do it and the beautiful stunning views! Beautiful sunrise and we loved the views from the top. Enjoyed seeing down into the volcano! Congratulation on reaching the top and outdoing you son, Craig. I'm afraid that wont last! Thanks so much for bringing us along Craig and Christy.

Thanks for sharing. I made it up to the summit on 5-24-22. I watched you video the week before my climb. I agree with Christy. It was the hardest thing I have ever done. It will take be several weeks or even months to make sense of it all. Congratulations on your "cumbre". Great photography.

TBH, I never heard of 'Cotopaxi before I saw this video. Looked like a tough climb. Congrats on pushing through and summitting! Not sure I'll try this one but I enjoyed the video. The scenery was beautiful. On to the next adventure!!
