If you dig through the settings on your Lumix camera, you can actually find a touch-screen focus slider that acts like manual focus. You have to be in manual focus mode, press the fn1 button, press set, then a focus slider appears on the right. It's super weird
I got this lens together with the Y1M1 body for 100USD at a pawn shop. All works fine but I use the lens more than the camera body on my other M32 bodies. Nice lens overall.
I also bought a Yi M1 with this lens and a 12-40mm zoom. Both lenses perform well, but the camera, despite delivering awesome images, is a complete failure even with the latest firmware : the dial doesn't work well, it's doing crazy stuff, the batteries were dead within a month or two, and the new ones that I bought cannot charge more than half of a full charge (with each battery I can shoot 50 pictures maximum), the AF is erratic... Fortunately I bought an Olympus E-M5 on second hand and it's a damn good camera, so that I can use the lenses and they work well on this system.

Yeah i tried that with lumix 12-32 lens, really awkward to use
just tested on G9, pretty fast for taking photos!
What about tap to focus?
