This is a nice lock; I just bought one and it's a perfect size and durable. I like the panel that slides over the number wheels to protect it from the elements. It's a good idea that you need the correct combination set in order to close it again (to ensure you know the combo before it closes), but it would be nice if it somehow also required you to then scramble the numbers to finish the closing process. This would guarantee it isn't accidentally set on the correct combo when the user walks away. But anyway, I guess it's just up to the user to remember to scramble it...
You can easily fit several standard house keys (about 2 inches high). You can put one or two longer (about 3.5 inch high) keys in the housing. The locking mechanism does take up some room at the top, so it limits the number of tall keys you can put into it. The outside dimensions of the box is about 4-3/4" tall by 3-1/4' wide.
Well good to know these can be easily smashed open with a hammer, I will discontinue using mine as I was due to do a reset on the number combination but pretty pointless piece of kit if it can be sabotaged in that way. One needs to think about putting electric fencing around the Masterlock to prevent it being smashed to smithereens.

It was on random number when I tried to switch the lever back to lock and then shuffled the number. So now, there is no way to find out what those random numbers where. But we have the device OPEN. NOT secure! This is one of the easiest keysafes to open. It doesn't need any tools to find the combination. The correct combination can be found by holding the black lever down, and checking each number wheel to find the position where there is the most movement. See the Lockpicking Lawyer video 1332
I use that hook to tie an elastic string with my key and fob strung on it so it stretches from keybox to the door lock to remind me to put it back in the box rather than my pocket or handbag rather than if not held by an elastic string. Trick works

This is a shit key locking system. I found one on the ground that had been forced open with a screw driver and a hammer from the top of the black locking mechanism!. Stash your keys instead of wasting money on this crap...
